I appreciate this video but the numbers are drastically different on the swing away. I would very much appreciate a video showing the numbers on the swing away version. For instance, I'm up over 100 for DTF transfers. But i'm looking for the right pressure for sublimation.
I purchased the signature press sure pressure in the video and I am confused by the amount of pressure you are using. I would not even be able to close mine any thing over 12 never mind 20, this is very drastic numbers. I find most of my pressing has to be under a 8 or it leave marks on my shirts and can scorch the DTF's. Could you explain why the 2 exact machines are so drastically different because I struggle with setting pressure and ruining many shirts.
Hi there! Of course - the numbers on the SurePressure knobs are not universal between each machine. The SurePressure system is a bookmarking system and not a pressure indicator. This system allows you to jot down your settings for the transfers you personally use as the type of transfer and thickness of the substrate will vary between each individual. Hope this helps!
I bought a heat press from your company, but it doesn't have that meter that shows what number you are on. Is that something you can buy and add to the press?
Hi there! No, this is not a feature you may add on to it later. If you are in need of a press that indicates the pressure, we would recommend a press with a digital pressure readout feature. If you have an auto open make sure that the time has not at zero when you are trying to close it. When you set your time and then close your heat press, the magnetic auto open mechanism should be engaged and your heat press should stay closed.
