Summer '77, Southern Tier Gold: B&O, Conrail-Patch, N&W, D&H, and Quad Erie-Lackawanna Geeps!

The dog's breakfast era of Conrail as seen and heard in the heart of New York's Southern Tier. Footage on the former Erie-Lackawanna main includes:
00:04 B&O/N&W legacy 'Alpha-Jet' through River Junction, with the iconic Erie tower still standing;
00:37 Our round-trip to/from Portageville (Letchworth) Bridge commences with an eastbound CR drag freight, with the B&O/N&W freight waiting in the hole;
01:56 Hotshot CR (all Penn Central lash-up) and N&W piggyback westbounds near Hornell, NY;
02:36 CR-patch U-Boats knocking down semaphores west of Hornell;
02:52 Freshly-painted Conrail U-Boat does the same, eastbound in Canisteo Valley;
03:10 The crème de la crème, an awesome chase of four renumbered but otherwise pure Erie-Lackawanna GP7/9s with a westbound manifest, out of the Canisteo Valley and back to Portage Bridge;
06:20 Moving east one last time for bonus footage of CR-Patch piggyback (one scene) and short chase of a D&H freight with a Reading-patch leader, closing out once more at Portageville/Letchworth Bridge.

Indeed it is! I believe tower is closed already by the time of this video and if they hadn't started tearing up the River Line, they would shortly.
