Martin Gomez was Selena’s fashion designer. In an interview with Selena, he commented how close they were and that they were friends. I don’t know his personal sexuality or preference, but I think he may have been gay. He actually stopped working with her because he admitted that he told her of Yolanda Salvador’s intention of obsession. He sent his assistant to Yolanda’s house to pick up something and she saw wall to wall pictures of Selena photos and the assistant reported back to Gomez. Gomez re told this incident to Selena and she didn’t believe she would be obsessed with her. There was another incident where Yolanda set up to get a gift of a golden egg ring from the workers in her boutique to give to Selena. The workers chipped in money and Yolanda gave Selena the ring only saying that it was a gift from her and not the other workers. Gomez stopped working with Selena due to her inability to see what Yolanda did and how she used her. Idk about her relationship with Chris. I have heard things from them wanting kids to Selena and Chris wanting a divorce. I guess nobody will really know the true story besides Chris and Selena themselves. Honestly it would've looked & sounded much better on that Hollywood 🌟⭐ The name " SELENA PEREZ " then "SELENA Quintanilla" In My personal opinion is that I think it was bogus for Selena's family not allowing to have put Selena Perez on the Hollywood star due to the fact that when she passed away she was married and was Selena Perez. But she saw something special in the song and her intuition proved correct. She wanted Chris to listen to her recording it, but he couldn't because he was working on a project for Abraham. Didn't even know he had gotten remarried but then divorced! Apparently, he never truly got over Selena, which led to his divorce. Can't blame him. Selena was beautiful and they were so in love. She's literally one of the most hated individuals on the face of the earth.After she was arrested, there were street gangs in Corpus Christi who wanted to post her bail just so they could kill her, and the Mexican Mafia - a gang within the jail system - supposedly had a price on her head. Probably still does. And, she's received many other threats to her life from both inside and outside of prison.The only reason she's survived THIS long is because they have her in solitary confinement "for her safety". Not too long ago Chris attended a ceremony where they dedicated a life-like statue to Selena. Standing next to it on a stage you could tell he was uncomfortable, not even wanting to look at it. All these years it still hurts him that much, you felt bad for him.

I was in 9th grade. My friend said his sister was coming to pick him up, and she would give me a ride home. It wasn't raining, but it was overcast with occasional drops. When we jumped in, she turned around and acted shocked that we were happy. When she told us the news, we immediately dismissed it as a hoax, because someone had said she died a few months earlier. When I got home, I ran upstairs to turn the TV on, and it was all true. Yolanda was sitting in her truck while we all watched that infamous Days Inn parking lot. As a Tejano and a big fan of Tejano music, I had seen her live three times, once at a very nice quince. It was not as universal as Kobe, but for some of us, this was incomprehensible, and still doesn't even feel real...sometimes.
Selena was the kind of woman that you meet maybe once in life and never again. He made the right decision. Some people come into your life and raise your game, make you a better person by their presence.

Growing up I use to hurt for Chris because it’s painful to lose someone you love but as an adult I hurt for him even more understanding what it’s like to be in love n losing that person whether to death, life circumstances or wrong timing. Nothing n no one can ever replace someone’s true love so I know he will never forget her. I feel sadness for that poor girl who walked into his life after Selena because she too deserved someone who would love her only n completely but that just wasn’t him. Selena n Chris’ story hits very close to home for me too... I always found so beautiful that he was this rough around the edges hardcore street guy/musician n though no one else was able to see how wonderful n special he was... I'm so damned SICK of all these "greed" accusations against the Quintanillas. The estates of pretty much ALL musical artists, actors / actresses, etc. who have passed away make money from the sales of things related to them, such as t shirts, books, dvd's, and more. Now that Selena is no longer recording and performing, that's pretty much her family's livelihood. Are they supposed to give it away for free, and starve? If you're going to accuse THEM of "greed", you're going to have to accuse a lot of OTHER people, as well. And, a part of all the money they make goes to The Selena Foundation, which was set up by Mr. Quintanilla to help the poor, the underprivileged, and women and children in crisis, among other things. The Quintanillas don't make money, those people don't get that help. And, it's not like they're forcing anyone to spend the money they're receiving. They're giving the fans things they want in return for it, so I don't see why some people have such a problem with it.

I actually love listening to music that’s very intricate and Selena y Los Dinos is one of those bands who is very fundamentally strong from the drums to keyboards to both electric and bass guitar to the singer. It’s all different things going on that mix well and it really helps any musician to get inspired on ideas for songs. Selena para siempre!

Martin Gomez was Selena’s fashion designer. In an interview with Selena, he commented how close they were and that they were friends. I don’t know his personal sexuality or preference, but I think he may have been gay. He actually stopped working with her because he admitted that he told her of Yolanda Salvador’s intention of obsession. He sent his assistant to Yolanda’s house to pick up something and she saw wall to wall pictures of Selena photos and the assistant reported back to Gomez. Gomez re told this incident to Selena and she didn’t believe she would be obsessed with her. There was another incident where Yolanda set up to get a gift of a golden egg ring from the workers in her boutique to give to Selena. The workers chipped in money and Yolanda gave Selena the ring only saying that it was a gift from her and not the other workers. Gomez stopped working with Selena due to her inability to see what Yolanda did and how she used her. Idk about her relationship with Chris. I have heard things from them wanting kids to Selena and Chris wanting a divorce. I guess nobody will really know the true story besides Chris and Selena themselves. But she saw something special in the song and her intuition proved correct. She wanted Chris to listen to her recording it, but he couldn't because he was working on a project for Abraham. I was in 9th grade. My friend said his sister was coming to pick him up, and she would give me a ride home. It wasn't raining, but it was overcast with occasional drops. When we jumped in, she turned around and acted shocked that we were happy. When she told us the news, we immediately dismissed it as a hoax, because someone had said she died a few months earlier. When I got home, I ran upstairs to turn the TV on, and it was all true. Yolanda was sitting in her truck while we all watched that infamous Days Inn parking lot. As a Tejano and a big fan of Tejano music, I had seen her live three times, once at a very nice quince. It was not as universal as Kobe, but for some of us, this was incomprehensible, and still doesn't even feel real...sometimes.
Selena was the kind of woman that you meet maybe once in life and never again. He made the right decision. Some people come into your life and raise your game, make you a better person by their presence.

Growing up I use to hurt for Chris because it’s painful to lose someone you love but as an adult I hurt for him even more understanding what it’s like to be in love n losing that person whether to death, life circumstances or wrong timing. Nothing n no one can ever replace someone’s true love so I know he will never forget her. I feel sadness for that poor girl who walked into his life after Selena because she too deserved someone who would love her only n completely but that just wasn’t him. Selena n Chris’ story hits very close to home for me too... I always found so beautiful that he was this rough around the edges hardcore street guy/musician n though no one else was able to see how wonderful n special he was... Selena did n she changed his life forever! Now I know exactly what it is like n it truly is beautiful to see in someone all the worth no one else sees or believes is within that person... there’s no doubt that true love remains beyond all distance😭

I'm so damned SICK of all these "greed" accusations against the Quintanillas. The estates of pretty much ALL musical artists, actors / actresses, etc. who have passed away make money from the sales of things related to them, such as t shirts, books, dvd's, and more. Now that Selena is no longer recording and performing, that's pretty much her family's livelihood. Are they supposed to give it away for free, and starve? If you're going to accuse THEM of "greed", you're going to have to accuse a lot of OTHER people, as well. And, a part of all the money they make goes to The Selena Foundation, which was set up by Mr. Quintanilla to help the poor, the underprivileged, and women and children in crisis, among other things. The Quintanillas don't make money, those people don't get that help. And, it's not like they're forcing anyone to spend the money they're receiving. They're giving the fans things they want in return for it, so I don't see why some people have such a problem with it.

I actually love listening to music that’s very intricate and Selena y Los Dinos is one of those bands who is very fundamentally strong from the drums to keyboards to both electric and bass guitar to the singer. It’s all different things going on that mix well and it really helps any musician to get inspired on ideas for songs. Selena para siempre!

What a torturous life to live. To have found your twin flame your soul mate the love of your life snatched from you right in the middle of being honeymooners!
