Guys I think you have to defeat cell with a certain amount of health in order to beat cell and 17. If you get to like 3 bars the dialogue automatically starts when you fight cell

I figured out the best way, just mash x with your sparkle and stay on him the whole time. Very end use your sparkle ultimate and charge again while he is stunned.
@@ScareCrows1023 Bruh i wish, for some reason my cell and 17 were perfect blocking and z countering me the whole time. Making sure you have a full spark meter before 17 switches out makes it quicker to take cell down, since he pops up in front of you.
@@Kratos510e yeah sometimes they do perfect blocks so you just have to beat them out with counters. I learned that the best defense is the best offense. Depends on how you initiate the fight. I typically go X,X, side Y to get their back to me. And keep their back towards me a lot. That prevents them from countering and if they Z counter just have to beat them with that.
@@Kratos510e you also can do almost an endless combo by grabbing them when they are down after a combo. Throw them go back into a combo, rinse and repeat.
This mission is bugged to hell and back. Chased 17 away, nuked cell 3 times in less than a minute, 17 popped back in, mid fight the cell “bye bye” dialogue randomly plays and mission failure.

It's because the timer "prompt" had already activated. That's happened to me on a few "what if's." If you'd have won 10 seconds sooner, you'd have done it
For anyone that is struggling against this fcked up bad designed of a fight. There is a specific way to get the alternate ending: Fight 17 and had remaining at least 4 bars of health, then absolutely destroy cell; go sparking mode and make a combo with an ultimate, then when piccolo says "there is no scaping me", let him finish his dialogue and then use false courage, after that spam the ultimate and kill him as fast as possible, after that then 17 will spawn again and then just end him once again and that is it
I almost broke my tv after hearing that “Bye Bye”. This guys tactic is good, get 17 out asap and try to have at least three bars of ki for cell to reflect his attacks and get some space to charge up to sparkling mode. It takes a while tbh
Only one thing which helped me to get through was after 17 got replaced by cell was to get him underwater, get piccolo in sparking mode and just spam ordinary attacks. Because normally after 20 hits it should fly your opponent over from you, but with cell he gets actually glued to you. So you can make like 70 hits combos
Just make sure you’re in sparking when cell comes. Z burst behind him and mash. Don’t super when he’s knocked back, but z burst behind him and continue the sparking mash, then super. Charge up and repeat one more time

i legit don't know how you get cell to 40 hits without him filing away after 20 or him not super countering you after 10. I have done this so many times and each time piccolo tells 17 to run away fuck this fight. I'm just going to use the dragon balls to do it for me.
How I beat this : Step One , give it your best , make sure to save up your ultimate as soon as they switch , Step Two in 17's second fight , make sure he's already on yellow health bar so you can end it fast af , Step Three if it's annoying , take a break and try it later with a fresh mind...... I did it in 2 attempts after taking a break
Boom, didn't even need to go to Easy Mode. The trick is giving 17 the best beatdown at the beginning. Made the Cell fight way longer. That was my main variable I changed and it was an easy win. TIMED FIGHT
This is to be bugged. The time limit isn’t even two minutes I got out a stopwatch. Just stopped at a random time like 1:52. Everytime I get cell to his last bar the voice line happens so doesn’t even matter if beat him at that rate. They really need to fix this or make the time limit known at the very least, so frustrating
You can't even feel proud about beating the Freeza and Android missions. it's RNG in a fighting game... the absolute fuck were they thinking with these missions.
I have just done it after 7 tries it's ridiculously difficult basically you have to cheat and be lucky not be a good player so I think they should def fix certain things or specify what you need to do or what actions you need to take to extend time but yeah basically hit cell as much as you can in sparking mode spam square when you get close as soon as the dialogue with cell starts then teleport backwards just before piccolo's dialogue ends and hit cell with the hellzone grenade then activate false courage right after. Get out of the water if you are in the water because you'll have to charge again real quick to get back in sparking mode then when you are back in sparking mode get close to cell and spam square when you defeat cell use what's left of sparking mode to spam square on 17 so rush to 17 as fast as you can he won't counterattack rush behind him and before the dialogue ends kill 17 so try to drain as much health as you can from 17 I don't know what it is exactly but I think once you kill cell the time is still running so rush to 17 and don't play around just try to end it as quickly as you can spamming square do not use the rush spamming square attack because 17 counterattacks from that a lot faster than from spamming square endlessly and you won't get as much health down as the other one. Best of luck
you have to keep piccolo's health guage high (in the blue) on regular difficulty. once it goes down to a certain point it will create the next prompt scene. to me that was harder than Great Ape Vegeta. Get 17 down to 3 guages and cell will appear but dont let cell get your health down to the green.
Did you have extra time? Because after I kick cells ass with sparking mode and do my ultimate, while I'm charging for my next ultimate, piccolo says, run 17.7
Dude...i swear in the time you took to charge up sparking on cell a second time, my game would've already ended it. I counted and it literally gave me 26 seconds to beat cell ..i am in sparking mode when he comes up...combo him to knock him down (if i am lucky enough 1 out of 10 times that he doesnt counter)...hellzone grenade... try to charge back up for sparking and halfway through charging it ends... i always like beating everything in a game but this one is not even worth it for me. Update: 28 minutes after i commented this, i finally beat it. It felt like my game just felt sorry for me and let me have it. Did the same stuff I've been doing for hours except they didnt counter my sparking combos and my ultimate actually landed. Cell solar flared me and still let me stand there charging back up to sparking without mopping the floor with me. Something was definitely different cuz any other time i literally couldn't finish a combo against either one and cell would be glued to me or hitting a million ki blasts when i tried to charge.
Yeah I found it easier to get into sparking as soon as I can and whenever I'm attacking from the front I switch behind them. Combo them and when you feel you done enough set them up for a hellzone. I noticed that sweeping the legs and going for a charged smash to send them flying was the best way I was going to set up cell for a hellzone. Also it helps to have a full spark meter going into the cell fight so as soon as he shows up you can start hellzoneing him.
The paths are always there because it's the overall path, but if a character doesn't have any more story that's just the end of their story even if you can see a path leading off. Either win on this stage is the end here.
I found a way to beat this, do not double tap your dash button to start the extremely fast sparking combos, do what he did, and just fly up to them and start spamming the attack button, just do that over and over until ur about to lose sparking and hit the ult

You don't. That path just represents the overall story. Since Piccolo's story path ends here that path just represents other characters. There is nothing beyond this point for Piccolo's story.
I thought Frieza had the worst what ifs, but I think Piccolo is up there too. This fight wasn't so bad, but some of his others were infuriating. Especially before he fuses and only has special beam canon. I still have to do Jiren, Goku Black, and Future Trunks stories. I am not excited. Having to fight Goku and Vegeta as Jiren and Goku Black is going to be thoroughly annoying, I can already tell. I just hope their movesets and specials arent as bad as Friezas and Piccolos. I hate the finishers that dont track whatsoever.
I Finally got it! Here is what happened with me. Dont lose under 5 bars of health till you defeat cell. Dont use supers or ults. Go into sparking and just to the rush auto combo but ever so often hit dash in the middle of the auto combo to prolong the combo. At some point they will slip out, just super dash to catch them and do the same thing again. Just constantly do Sparking and the Infinite combo with little dashes in the middle
If you really you want, you can use Light grenade but only in sparking, so you can quickly charge back into sparking after vs using an ult and take longer
just found out a tip on how; not 100% accurate but as far as i know you should not lose more than a single healthbar, regardless if cell shows up shortly afterwards or not, beat cell quickly and 17 will reappear and do the same
So all I have to do is lower the difficulty? Because this is definitely not on the normal difficulty setting. You absolutely cannot spam a 30+ hit combo on Cell otherwise
Here’s what I learned with 17 hit combo him with sparking then hellzone grenade and beam cannon will do fine just dont lose a health bar THEN cell will appear and here’s how to do it Sparking Combo 40 hit + Hellzone + False courage + Combo spark. If you need to do more blasts then do so I finished him with special beam cannon. The faster the better

I'm also curious, as one user wrote (i do max 24 and oponent arę falling or blocm my attacks) - thanks to this video I managed to defeat them after about 4 attempts (previously I wasn't sure what it was about - I defeating them quickly but not that quickly :S)
Cause in a souls game you feel like you died because of your own failing, with this, even if you freaking play near perfectly, the game will just randomly decide to make you lose for seemingly no reason. Something has to be broken with this battle. I played if for three hours before it finally randomly decided to let me win, I never lost from losing my health. Infuriating. My controller is lucky to have survived because my hands hurt from clenching my fists around the controller.

I have no idea what I did!!! I was doing hellzone grenade to 17 and it switched to cell and hit him immediately. Then I pretty much followed the video with the false courage and then another hellzone grenade and then rushed cell s fast as I could and killed him. Piccolo shouted out “I WIN 17” and I shouted it with him lmao
Such a bad fight, took me an hour to do properly. It wasn't speed beating 17 I think it helped to wait a bit and get a couple of those numbers that let you go into sparking and then just spam cell. Eventually worked for me. Also there's a certain point of health you get 17 too that cell automatically comes into the fight, if you go into sparking and hit 17 with a special beam cannon or a hellzone grenade at that point cell switches in and if your quick enough you can ultimate him
by an act of god i was able to get it. its not good enough to just be in sparking at the perfect time you also have to rng a full combo where you can rotate back into sparking its a load of bs especially when you dont really get anything out of it for doing it.

Guys I figured it out legitimately. It all has to do with Piccolo’s health. I tested it it three times and it works consistently. Have all 5 ticks of health and make it through 17. Then, as long as you don’t drop to three ticks, you get the correct ending and 17 comes back to fight after killing cell
It has to be all 5 ticks bc this is honestly taking so long to finish ima have to try again in the morning I spent the like 30 minutes tryna do this last ending

It's the difficulty. Missions with alternate outcomes don't activate on the lower difficulty, I just checked.

How do you get a 40 combo chain in sparking mode? I always knock the character back at 20 hits just like you did with the android in the beginning

I have just done it after 7 tries it's ridiculously difficult basically you have to cheat and be lucky not be a good player so I think they should def fix certain things or specify what you need to do or what actions you need to take to extend time but yeah basically hit cell as much as you can in sparking mode spam square when you get close as soon as the dialogue with cell starts then teleport backwards just before piccolo's dialogue ends and hit cell with the hellzone grenade then activate false courage right after. Get out of the water if you are in the water because you'll have to charge again real quick to get back in sparking mode then when you are back in sparking mode get close to cell and spam square when you defeat cell use what's left of sparking mode to spam square on 17 so rush to 17 as fast as you can he won't counterattack rush behind him and before the dialogue ends kill 17 so try to drain as much health as you can from 17 I don't know what it is exactly but I think once you kill cell the time is still running so rush to 17 and don't play around just try to end it as quickly as you can spamming square do not use the rush spamming square attack because 17 counterattacks from that a lot faster than from spamming square endlessly and you won't get as much health down as the other one. Best of luck
you have to keep piccolo's health guage high (in the blue) on regular difficulty. once it goes down to a certain point it will create the next prompt scene. to me that was harder than Great Ape Vegeta. Get 17 down to 3 guages and cell will appear but dont let cell get your health down to the green.
Did you have extra time? Because after I kick cells ass with sparking mode and do my ultimate, while I'm charging for my next ultimate, piccolo says, run 17.7

Dude...i swear in the time you took to charge up sparking on cell a second time, my game would've already ended it. I counted and it literally gave me 26 seconds to beat cell ..i am in sparking mode when he comes up...combo him to knock him down (if i am lucky enough 1 out of 10 times that he doesnt counter)...hellzone grenade... try to charge back up for sparking and halfway through charging it ends... i always like beating everything in a game but this one is not even worth it for me.
Update: 28 minutes after i commented this, i finally beat it. It felt like my game just felt sorry for me and let me have it. Did the same stuff I've been doing for hours except they didnt counter my sparking combos and my ultimate actually landed. Cell solar flared me and still let me stand there charging back up to sparking without mopping the floor with me. Something was definitely different cuz any other time i literally couldn't finish a combo against either one and cell would be glued to me or hitting a million ki blasts when i tried to charge.
This... is impossible on my end. Cell just proceeds to beat the shit outta me even in sparking mode
Yeah I found it easier to get into sparking as soon as I can and whenever I'm attacking from the front I switch behind them. Combo them and when you feel you done enough set them up for a hellzone. I noticed that sweeping the legs and going for a charged smash to send them flying was the best way I was going to set up cell for a hellzone. Also it helps to have a full spark meter going into the cell fight so as soon as he shows up you can start hellzoneing him.
Okay but like how you go down the other path that seems to be nonexistent but looks like it's there. Ya know, the one to the right?

The paths are always there because it's the overall path, but if a character doesn't have any more story that's just the end of their story even if you can see a path leading off.

I found a way to beat this, do not double tap your dash button to start the extremely fast sparking combos, do what he did, and just fly up to them and start spamming the attack button, just do that over and over until ur about to lose sparking and hit the ult
I just timed it how can mine only have 2:14 minutes and yours be a solid 3:30 minute fight. If I had 3:30 I could do it
I came looking for tips cuz this is the only sparking episode giving me problems and yeah, there's no tips it just a BS timeframe.

I finally did it by using hellzone grenade on him , using false courage and then doing another 2 sparking combos ending with another hellzone
After you beat cell 17. Comes back then you defeat him after cell
Nah, mission is bugged or something, regardless if I manage to kill Cell or not, the dialogue continues, and the mission ends no matter what.

Try getting 17 to two health bars in the time it takes for Cell to arrive. I just did that and it finally worked for me.
So conditions to complete this fight. Once Cell Arrives, it will start a dialog:
1- Allow Cell to complete the dialog. Try to use the Hellzone Granade when it is finishing, so you can trigger a dialog from Piccolo saying like "there is no scaping me". If the Hellzone Granade finishes before Cell dialog is completed, this condition won't be fulfilled.
2- Use the False Courage right after the Hellzone Granade and the Piccolo "you cant scape me" dialog ends. This will lock the battle for around a minute, . You will notice Cell will kinda stop countering that much, so try to take advange of it. Sparking mode is advisable to end it quick.
You can see the sequence around 1:50 minuts into the video. The fight is not exactly time nor hp bound, but more like action related.

This is incorrect, I did exactly as said and the fight ended WAY less than 1 minutes, closer to 15 seconds.

How do you go on the right path?
You don't. That path just represents the overall story. Since Piccolo's story path ends here that path just represents other characters. There is nothing beyond this point for Piccolo's story.

Spam: sparking mode to special beam cannon to hell zone grenade. That’s all
I thought Frieza had the worst what ifs, but I think Piccolo is up there too. This fight wasn't so bad, but some of his others were infuriating. Especially before he fuses and only has special beam canon.
I still have to do Jiren, Goku Black, and Future Trunks stories. I am not excited. Having to fight Goku and Vegeta as Jiren and Goku Black is going to be thoroughly annoying, I can already tell. I just hope their movesets and specials arent as bad as Friezas and Piccolos. I hate the finishers that dont track whatsoever.

I Finally got it!
Here is what happened with me. Dont lose under 5 bars of health till you defeat cell. Dont use supers or ults. Go into sparking and just to the rush auto combo but ever so often hit dash in the middle of the auto combo to prolong the combo. At some point they will slip out, just super dash to catch them and do the same thing again. Just constantly do Sparking and the Infinite combo with little dashes in the middle
If you really you want, you can use Light grenade but only in sparking, so you can quickly charge back into sparking after vs using an ult and take longer
The problem is that if you play it in lowered dificulty this scene wont thrigger. At least thats what happenned to me.

not 100% accurate but as far as i know you should not lose more than a single healthbar, regardless if cell shows up shortly afterwards or not, beat cell quickly and 17 will reappear and do the same
So all I have to do is lower the difficulty? Because this is definitely not on the normal difficulty setting. You absolutely cannot spam a 30+ hit combo on Cell otherwise
played it 100 times beat the shit outta them both and still the game cuts me out as soon as cell is dead but won’t let me get the path smfh

Here’s what I learned with 17 hit combo him with sparking then hellzone grenade and beam cannon will do fine just dont lose a health bar THEN cell will appear and here’s how to do it Sparking Combo 40 hit + Hellzone + False courage + Combo spark. If you need to do more blasts then do so I finished him with special beam cannon. The faster the better

Dude, how do you do more than 20 hits when in Sparking Mode?
I've never lost my composure in souls games and I nearly broke my controller during this fight...
Cause in a souls game you feel like you died because of your own failing, with this, even if you freaking play near perfectly, the game will just randomly decide to make you lose for seemingly no reason.
Something has to be broken with this battle. I played if for three hours before it finally randomly decided to let me win, I never lost from losing my health. Infuriating. My controller is lucky to have survived because my hands hurt from clenching my fists around the controller.

I have no idea what I did!!! I was doing hellzone grenade to 17 and it switched to cell and hit him immediately. Then I pretty much followed the video with the false courage and then another hellzone grenade and then rushed cell s fast as I could and killed him. Piccolo shouted out “I WIN 17” and I shouted it with him lmao
I got cell down to no health and still hitting him and he wouldn't die then failed the objective cause he wouldn't die???

Such a bad fight, took me an hour to do properly. It wasn't speed beating 17 I think it helped to wait a bit and get a couple of those numbers that let you go into sparking and then just spam cell. Eventually worked for me. Also there's a certain point of health you get 17 too that cell automatically comes into the fight, if you go into sparking and hit 17 with a special beam cannon or a hellzone grenade at that point cell switches in and if your quick enough you can ultimate him
by an act of god i was able to get it. its not good enough to just be in sparking at the perfect time you also have to rng a full combo where you can rotate back into sparking its a load of bs especially when you dont really get anything out of it for doing it.
this is absolutely insane to accomplish

Guys I figured it out legitimately. It all has to do with Piccolo’s health. I tested it it three times and it works consistently. Have all 5 ticks of health and make it through 17. Then, as long as you don’t drop to three ticks, you get the correct ending and 17 comes back to fight after killing cell
It has to be all 5 ticks bc this is honestly taking so long to finish ima have to try again in the morning I spent the like 30 minutes tryna do this last ending
