Thank you very much for your comment, Curtis. Definitely try that. But only do it if you're totally confident to loose control about what will maybe come out. I can only guess that some modellers don't want that loss of control about their models. Luckily I'm fine with it. 😂 I think it makes it more realistic, random and unique. The result depends on how long you "bath" it and what paint you're using. I used Tamiya colours and it worked out fine. Best is to try that technique first on a painted plastic spoon or other type of plastic part. Let my know how it worked out for you after trying. Cheers!
No problem, mate. I had some references with really worn interiors from US Army helos and decided to go that way. The only German Navy references I found, were from the Deutsche Museum and I don't know how accurate they are. Thank you for subscribing. Cheers!
Hi mgzr, thanks for your comment. There's no french version in this kit. But you can go with this one: www.scalemates.com/kits/italeri-2776-h-34a-pirate-uh-34d-us-marines--1029916
Interesting result from the IPA bath - will try that! 👍

Great progress - not a fan of that weathered paint look in the cabin, but we each have our own way of getting there. Thanks for sharing!
