NEW Commercial Fishing Update In Stormworks

The new commercial fishing update in Stormworks is here. So, today we're going to take a look at the new nets and see how they work. Turns out, it seems they work a bit weirdly and personally I dont think its right. What do you think?

if you'd used cable instead of rope you could actually have used the net anchors. Signals dont travel through rope.

I spent an afternoon figuring this out... Attach a set of "Electric" anchors to the net anchors, this will allow you to pass a composite signal through. Then create a quick micro-controller (1x4) that reads a composite signal and outputs 3 on/off... This way you can pass a composite signal through a winch to control the net anchors. Got a "Fishing Update" video uploaded on my channel if you wanna see it working.

At the hotspots they usually swim quite deep so you need to bottom trawl almost.

Stormworks is a good game, but it would be better if they just focused on building, driving and missions.

Net Anchor being smaller, more obvious where the connection points are and composite node, maybe as an alternative and call it Compact Net Anchor?

You should have used cable, it can transfer logic so that works at least for me!

I wish there would be a similar game liek stormworks that would be awesome so you could play a similar gsme on the go if you get ideas and dont have a pc with you

literally impossible, stormworks is a very demanding game, unless you have a steam deck i guess
