Great idea for the net! I had some creative trouble trying to find the best way to make my net the largest size so ended up with a very small net haha

you can put a door on the sides that lowers and when you have the nets out and bring it up when it's done so the fish not just fall off.
i think if you make a hopper box and increase the hight of the crane arms, you can effectively lower the nets into the hopper box instead of it bieng all static like this, it would prevent the fish from falling over the edge and itll allow for a fully closed in catch box

looks good, this might benefit from lowering the hoppers in the hull more so that you'd lose less. Guess it depends on how much room you have to work with, great vid thou.

can you post this to the workshop please as it is a great boat with a huge net and high speed to get to those hotspots really quickly i think this would be one of the best boats with the new fishing update

How did you manage to make your nets be not directly Connected to the ship, like how did you manage to use winches and make the nets work

Have you tried radio signals lately? I havent got them to work for probably two years. Its super simple, ive watched videos to see if im missing something stupid. They still dont do a damn thing.
Im pretty sure when the idiot devs removed the second frequency (in or out) and replaced it with a power button, they never checked to see if it still works. So now when you hook up the one frequency node and use it checking the info card, it says true, gives one freq and the other is 0's.
So now they all send or receive only and so are completely useless. Its been this way for so long..

@ProfNCognito I've had some problems with getting the nets in the trough
The fish locations are too overpriced and the fish amounts everywhere else seems to be a lot less. It could just be perception since I never paid much attention to them before, but it seems really empty now.
different depths for those fish if they seem like they are not spawning. look deeper.
@@ProfNCognito The deepest I've seen so far has only been about 6 meters according to the fish finder, and I might pick up 1 in 500 meters. Just for testing purposes, do you think you could do a run in the open ocean in the same way you had tested the add-on fishing mod and see if you get similar results or if they really did lower the amounts to force us into the "hotspots"?
i dont get hardly fish outside the hot spots. around islands seems good tho.
@@ProfNCognito I'll try there. I've been trying to make a starter trawler for classic career. Not having winches is proving a challenge to get deep enough, but I didn't think to drop the lower half loose. I really wish they'd give us a hand pulley.
I agree on the overprice, and i would like to add that most of this Hotspots are really far from any island or workbench where you could possibly spawn a ship, so too reach them you either need a fast high range boat, or a lot of patience and still highrange boat, a realistic Trawler that goes around 20 knots, will reach one of this spots if you are lucky in 10 to 20 minutes
can it collide with players?, (i havent been able to test because computer cant handle stormworks :(
