That's...unique, I love how during that whole time, there was a jackal sniper slowly pushing up to you, and with the way their AI sometimes works, he drops his weapon and ran like a bitch when he was right next to you, just stationary in the hog lmao. JPIII this isn't necessarily true. Well maybe the warthog I don't know but I've had many times in multiplayer and singleplayer with elites where a ghost will die and the driver will pop out still alive. Don't think I've seen that with another vehicle and I don't know why given vehicle health is tied to player driver health (I believe, if may not be quite that simple)
@@TheJayson8899 It is 100% true. What you saw is the vehicle capsize and eject the driver. Once the driver's out, the vehicle can explode. If the vehicle exploded with the driver alive and still driving it, the driver (or pilot) would automatically die.

Otherwise, the vehicles in H2 all operate like the UNSC vehicles do in H3, in that their destruction is completely dependent on whether there is a living player or NPC operating it in any fashion. Of course, if the player(s) and/or NPC(s) all incur lethal damage while in the vehicle, they will die and, if the vehicle has taken enough damage (which on Legendary it usually has), it will blow up as well. A great example of this is on The Great Journey, where Rtas Vadum's Wraith can NEVER be destroyed as long as he stays in it (like the Warthog on Coastal Highway as long as Buck is in it). Given how incredibly unlikely (or impossible) it is that Vadum is actually ejected from the vehicle, it will never blow up because he is invincible. Same when he takes up in a turret at the end of Sacred Icon. Speedrunners do NOT want him in a turret, so they force him to leave by trying to get inside of it themselves, and once Vadum leaves, they destroy it. Otherwise, you wouldn't take the time to do this, you'd just destroy the turret and he'd pop out of it. How does this relate to strategy? Two examples, one "defensive" and one "offensive". On The Arbiter (or in The Great Journey), you should NEVER replace your beat-up-looking Banshee with a new one because it does not matter. As long as you have some health/shields and are flying it, the Banshee will never blow up. However, if your shields/health are reduced to zero while piloting it, it doesn't matter whether the Banshee blows or not. You will die. If you get out of your Banshee to get a new one, you are vulnerable to instant death if an enemy Banshee targets you, or may be Fuel-Rodded by spawning Grunts near where the "fresh Banshees" are. Similarly, if you're facing Elite pilots/drivers, you should almost never relent in causing damage to their vehicles, because if their shields recharge, it's like starting all over again to destroy them, which may waste ammunition in some instances (i.e., Rockets used to take down the Banshees while riding the second gondola in Delta Halo). The same cannot be said for Brutes, whom do not have shields or regenerating health. Whatever damage you do to them is permanent, and therefore, you'll never "start over" when trying to destroy them while they are in a vehicle. Obviously, dealing with Flood follows the same pattern based on whether you're dealing with shielded Elite combat forms or non-shielded human forms. That all being said, I'm excited to hear you've got at least SEVEN episodes in the hopper. Cool!

Yashi Games I beat halo 2 on legendary years ago, and it was a total nightmare, I managed to beat it within a week, occasionally I’ll go back to halo 2 on legendary and see how much better I am, but the first time was the worst
No they were all hitting their target. And it isn't that Jackal Snipers are that OP. Halo 2 Legendary makes the player super weak. Halo 5 Jackal Snipers are terrifying though. 😂😱😂

Always Legendary unless stated otherwise I think he said, unless that was just for Hokie's School of Halo. This doesn't surprise me on Legendary though, unless the jackals are on the driver's side they seem to rarely be able to hit you.

(Which was ungodly helpful in PVP) they all sounded unique. I can't remember a single gun apart from each other in Halo 4-5 but I can remember every.single.weapon from CE to Reach.
@@supersnow17 Sorry to say, but that is mostly you. I have a hearing condition that emphasizes the sounds I hear, trust the sound sensitive man that the guns only sound the same in Halo 5. All of the others still have very distinct sound design. I agree that they sound a little similar to eachother compared to the original, but your claim that there is even a single weapon that sounds exactly like another is factually incorrect. The only reason they all sound the same here is because only one gun is being fired, the beam rifle. Of course they all sound the same, there's only one version of the weapon in this game. And the only reason the UNSC weapons sound similar is because they are real weapon sounds, which is actually 343 delivering something that fans have been asking for since Halo 4. Halo 5 I will give you since even though the sounds are not the same, they all still sound like pellets.
