  • I've always liked this scene of Foehammer getting shot down while trying to pick the Master Chief up. The music is perfect, and the mood is set quite well. I also noticed that every other with this short scene has ten minutes of gameplay so I cut out the meat to save people time.

Keep in mind this is the first time you get back in contact with any friendly forces since 343 Guilty Spark. All that was left was you, Cortana, and Foehammer because all surviving friendly ground forces were consumed by the Flood. This whole situation is just depressing.

Yes, In Game but if I'm not mistaken Johnson and Chips Dubbo escaped on a Pelican and a large squad of ODST's, and the remaining survivors of Alpha Base stormed the Truth and Reconciliation but ended up destroying the ship in the end.
So, in reality only like Johnson, Chipps Dubbo, Chief, Linda Survived out of 2000+ crew....

@@thegreatid3595 You're correct - Think this was from the book Halo: The Flood (2003)?

I always jump out and shoot down the bandits. I know it doesn't matter, but as The Good Sarge would say "When you kill your enemy, you want to look in his eye so he knows that you're the one who beat him to death!"
