Although he does it, he forgot to explain the rotation of the standing leg, it enhances the hip thrust. And pull your shin up a little bit, like pressing it against your thigh, to gain acceleration.

Calf to your thigh with a small rotation in your knee before landing

I was told to never swing my arms when throwing a knee, may I ask the pros and cons to kneeing with and without the arm swing? I am new and was taught to keep my arms out infront when kneeing. Any advice will help me learn!

Helps with balance and power. Exactly like when you kick.

Hi, so I think it depends. I learnt from a pro glory kickboxer that you shouldn't drop your hands because it'll lead to you getting hooked and knocked out but this guy is also a champion and he drops his hand so ...

More risk more reward, if you drop your hand all the way like in the video you’ll get a bit more power and more balance just like you do when kicking, however when you kick you’re at larger distance so you’re considerably safe but when you knee you’re much closer to your opponent and you might get hooked I would rather have a bit less power but be safe and not in risk of getting ko’d,
