An amp sim pedal that does the job indeed. The whole series works for me... not on my board as an always there... but i put them in now and then. Nice Jams, and video quality/sound.
Such a good pedal! I love the EQ on it which most pedals don't have. Very good sounding drive. I use it for live gigs and studio. Really good value for that price.
I love this pedal ! It's cool you did a demo of the American TrueTone because you've shown very well how easy it is to find a lot of Fender sound sweet spots with it. It's incredible for a cheap pedal like this (for example, the Wampler Tweed 57 is far more expensive and more difficult to adjust... it's my opinion...). Thanks for the video. You should try the Xvive Sweet Leo too : another not expensive good Fender sound simulator.
Nice 1. Goes from a flubby Twin to a Tweed, Bassman to Champ, depending on how you eq and use the voice control! IS the voice control basically a 'mid shift' knob?
The Voice control is a pre-gain low mid eq. Because it is pre-gain stage it can cause additional gain/grit as it is boosting your signal at those frequencies and smashing them into the next stage in the circuit unlike the Low/Mid/High controls that are further along in the circuit and simply provide eq without affecting gain within the pedal itself. This pedal isn't really an overdrive but an analog amp sim. You can of course plug it into the front of an amp and use it as an overdrive but it's really intended to either be run into an effects loop (basically replacing the preamp section of your amplifier) or as a way to DI your guitar into a mixer or audio interface and have the sound of an amp rather than just a standard clean DI box. The American Sound does have a bit of cabsim baked in but it is slight enough to ignore if you are using with an amplifier and just barely enough if you are going direct. If doing a direct DI sort of thing the sound quality really benefits from an additional cab sim either a stand alone pedal or plugin in your daw especially so on gainy type sounds which can be a bit fizzy sounding with just the Joyo.
@DMSProduktions Good review you did here but I thought it could be filled out a bit. ;) That you noticed the Voice control is a low mid boost is pretty good just by listening. Your ears are obviously working! If you get just a little bit of grit with the Drive going and push the Voice beyond noon you will hear what I mean about the additional distortion.... if you haven't already.
@@SRguitar Can you tell me what was replaced on the TE-52? I see the stringtrees have been already changed to graphtech . Any other modifications? thanks
The internet consensus is that the Joyo, Harley Benton, and Caline pedals are all the same circuit with minor changes. For instance, the Caline version doesnt have a battery clip, might be why its $10 cheaper🤷♂️
Get it at Thomann:www.thomann.de/de/harley_benton_american_truetone.htm?offid=1&affid=398
Or the Joyo version at Amazon: geni.us/y0AWcl

Is it identical to the Joyo american sound or is there any difference between them? Great review as always.
Thank you!
As far as I know that are exactly the same pedals, just rebranded :)

Sounds great. British sound pedal in the next video? Jeje. Greetings and keep with the good work 🙌
Thanks! I already made a video of the British pedal, you can find it on my channel :)
This pedal brings the sound of American rock bands such as Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Skid Row and so on.
can you make this pedal sound like its coming through a radio? inexpensive lofi pedal ;)
