I wish I had this video back when I started my journey on RUclips... I had great content at start, but barely got any attention. And I thought that getting 1000 subs was mission impossible, but I was lucky when I found out I could just level up my channel with initial subs and views, just enough to start getting noticed. I got myself a first couple of hundred subs very fast (I personally have used a bit of Famester), and after that my main channel gained a ton of organic audience. Growth became bigger every month.

These guys have the best podcast voices I’ve ever heard and I always feel like my voice sounds horrible when I listen to myself lol does anyone else go through that as well😅
Lean in to your demographic because it’s fast growing. Our cultural background is the secret sauce. Think about where your grandma came from and tell her anecdotes relative to what you’re doing in your field. Stay in one niche. Don’t jump around. Use it in real time! Tell folks about it in person and use it as a resume. Think about the advice ppl ask you for and put a video of it up, and put links in the description. Also, the best way to make money nowadays? Don’t sell. Give value for free.
Tap into what you have a passion for, what your going to be the most consistent in, and whatever is most profitable. Your passion will lead you past that breaking point, and will help you with your consistency. And choosing a niche or a field that is most profitable right now in today’s world you can lose. Hoped this help .
I'm ten years younger and discovering what I already knew but forgot... Working for a corporation is a recipe for insignificance and forever being broke and I'm tired of it. I have to sit down with my wife and just figure this out, as the current plan of trading my time for a paycheck isn't working for me anymore.
Question. Omar sends his email list to a spreadsheet with Amazon links. It’s a genius idea but I thought that way of sharing links, in a private not public way, went against their TOS. How do you workaround Amazon’s affiliate policy regarding that?
I don't have any tips but that's how it goes sometimes. They make it seem like affiliate links are a gold mine. They don't ever really tell you how to get sales. They just say you can get sales. "Can" being the most important part.
It's easy for you to talk about these strategies since you have a big audience. For some of us that are just starting, we do all of these things and don't get any traffic..
Good stuff guys. I’ve been doing RUclips since 2016 and still don’t have it all figured out. This shined light on a few things I can change today. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing these tips! I'm always looking for ways to monetize my RUclips channel. Could you elaborate on one of your favorite methods or share a personal experience with any of these quick money-making strategies? I'd love to hear more about your success in this area!
How important is quality editing when starting out on RUclips? One of the things that I feel that is holding me back from embarking on the journey is my inexperience with editing videos. I noticed that I tend to gravitate towards videos that are presented in a seemingly organized manner where the content just flows. I know that not all consumers are created equal, but I fear that my videos may be too amateur compared to others.
Thank you for this helpful information. Where is the best place to sell e- downloads? I tried etsy for a little while, but their fees are high, and i didn't even break even on the costs of the few sales I made. Do i have to be monitized to sell e- products or any products directly under my videos? I hope to understand this all one day before I do give up. I have been at it 4 years and continue to learn a lot. However, I haven't made money yet, even though I have Amazon affiliate links. Also, how do I figure out SEO? I feel so lost...On a positive note, my nose hair clippers actually worked this morning. 😂
I've been getting emails here and there to 'collaborate' with the companies, but in all honesty, sometimes it's not even getting products, sometimes they just offer you a discount to offer your viewers, and nothing more... it's getting even worse than when I thought that just getting a product to review wasn't enough to justify making a video which takes days to plan, produce, then edit, create thumbnail (s), promote and all you get is Zip other than maybe the $1 you got with the few views I get... I'm on the DIY world video space, so I still haven't thought what exactly I can charge for ? Don't know if consulting would work out - I left a 3/4 of the way Kitchen renovation guide, but not feeling confident enough to launch it out to the world... HELP!
Hello from Gatlinburg TN...Let it grow a bit before you do anything...I'm at 10k subs and NOW looking to see what I can do because I have a great relationship with the Family!

So I'm climbing in subscribers as over this past year I've been committed. No return yet.😢 I have a great website with art for sale. I'm thinking on trying for a brand deal and or affiliate with the art supplies I've used and loved for over 30 years now. Thanks for your encouragement❤
It is a really good idea to concentrate on a brand deal. Because i do car related videos . Maybe that's a lot better option than adsense.. many thanks 😊
A question: How can I be successful with youtube when they decrease my views day by day? Seriously, they don’t want people to be successful, just admit it!
All of this is great unless you have a gun channel. I HAD one and it still has around 900 subs but YT took monitization away from me when it was deemed advertiser unfriendly. The last communication I received from them said it doesn’t matter how many subs I get, it’s impossible.
Good job guys, I don't know if I can say I'm new to RUclips but at least I can state categorically that I've not made a dime from RUclips and its not for lack of trying. I hardly have any subscribers too (actually I have 11 subscribers) but I'm wondering why it takes so much to get off when you want to focus so much on social media. I've basically blown through my savings and I'm wondering, is this me not doing properly or its just that way?
I made my first 7 dollars from youtube before 6 months, with no subscribers, for less than 24 hours after I uploaded the video. And the CTR was terrible
