I eat 2tbsp of flex seeds every morning. I drink 2 cups of coffee every morning so I add 1tbsp to a cup of coffee and by the time I get the coffee drunk the seeds are softened up enough to chew. I enjoy chewing them up while I watch videos in the morning. 😁
Thank you! I’ve been adding flax seed to Sunday am bread. I’m going to soak them first.!
Trying to find your pancake recipe back.
Here is just a basic recipe I put together 5 years ago: ruclips.net/video/_D8PqQa_pLA/видео.html
About one third into the video I think "why is Heidi talking so slow???" Then I remembered I had slowed the playback down early this morning, went to picking currants, refill bird baths..... 😅
I wish we'd grow flax again instead of all the soybeans!
THANK YOU for all the information you share. I really appreciate all the time you spend recording, editing, uploading, researching, responding, and all the many things I have no idea what you do.
I put ground flaxseed in my soaked buckwheat groats with dates, maple syrup and lil salt and makes a yummy bread. Sooo good. I loved growing flaxseed in Oregon even before I knew the seeds were good for you. Was just such a sweet pretty flower. I am going to see if it grows in Florida. ❤❤❤
I LOVE them in my yogurt... and I got my grandaughters (since 3 years old) to eat them in their yogurt, by calling them "crunchies". They are 7 and 9 now, and still prefer "crunchies" in their yogurt! I recently had my cholesterol checked and Doc was amazed at how "perfect" my cholesterol is, despite being a bit heavy. I wonder if it's from my flax intake. That, and I only use cold pressed unrefined natural coconut oil to cook in, as well as other things. Gods food is SOOO amazing and yummy!
I love using ground flaxseeds in my warm smoothie bowl every morning. I also use the whole seeds as a natural hair gel and add it to African black soap for a natural shampoo. It’s great for the hair! Thanks for sharing this video! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Good morning. Love the new music today. Thank you for the great info. God bless
Thank you for sharing didn't realize there was so many vitamins and such in these ... Very informative ..👍
Wow! I didn't know all the benefits! My friend uses flax seed as an egg replacement for baking for her vegan son.
Good morning from Australia, Heidi. I began using chia seeds after you shared about the benefits and uses of them. I find it convenient to soak them overnight with my protein shake that I have for breakfast or lunch most days. I appreciate you sharing your wealth of information and experience with us all. 🙂
Hello from Texas with prayers❤😊
Goodmorning Heidi 🌻 another wonderfully informative video. Have a blessed day dear lady. 🌼🌱🌷🍀🌻🦋
I wondered if thst pretty blue flower I grew was flax. The seeds aren't as big, but I have it growing in terrible ground, because it's the only thing that will grow their, lol. I may try it in good ground now❤
Thank you Heidi
May God continue protecting you and your family ❤❤
I read flax seed also has plant estrogen.
Yep, as does soy
I sprout all of those seeds in jam jars on kitchen roll. Also some wild seeds like dandelion.. 🙂
you could also sprout them.
I love ground flax seed sprinkled on my toast with jam in the morning, with one egg over easy.. 😋
In my head I am thinking? "Isn't Flax Seed from the Linen Plant?"
Well I see you said it for me! 😊
A tbsp of flaxseed and one of chia in the water everyday.. love it
Especially fiber for GI tract
I make flax seed gel to use on my hair. Boil in water - then put through strainer. Keep in fridge to use after washing hair. Use it just like any hair gel. Or you can use as a conditioner. Love it.
Another important property of flax, is that it is a mild anticoagulant. People on medications for coagulation issues should probably avoid. Some people with no known coagulation problems can develop issues while using flax, that resolve when flax is discontinued. This property is rarely mentioned in online sources, but has been noted in professional texted for sometime. Neither my youngest son or myself can use it for this reason.
If someone was taking a baby aspirin as a blood thinner, do you think that would counter act or be counterintuitive to use the flax seed? That they would be working against each other?
@terryhall2299 no, flax is an ANTIcoagulant, so taking with a baby asprin could potentially increase the blood thinning affect.
Thank you!! Perfect timing with Randy!!
😊
They also help prevent hormonal breakouts.
Thank You So Much ❤ L❤VE Your Videos So Much👏🏼🥰
Thank you Heidi!
Great information!👍
Awsome videos guys hope all has been well for you and your family :)
Shalom Sister Heidi!
After a lot of reading, I started using flax seed oil for cast iron. There was warning against use by pregnant women but I never saw details. I'm going to have to try flax seed now. Thank you.
Good informational video, thanks for sharing YAH bless !
Awesome video Heidi.. did not know about flax being able to be made into material and I can really understand the value
I use them myself and also add the ground flaxseed to my dogs homemade food.
Thank you for all you do. Loved the one on tassels.
Wow I had no idea I bought some flax and it's sitting on my shelf along with chia seeds I have never eaten them but was interested because I heard they were good for us thanks again Hedi!
okay...first....I agree, those sheets are the absolute BEST!! We cannot love them more. I'm hoping to stop forgetting to add those flax seeds in my breads. I think I need to keep a small amount on the counter top so I remember! Hidden in the freezer doesn't help.
Thanks again for the great content!! God is good ALL THE TIME!
I am so loving my sheets, I could never go back to cotton at this point
Love from south Mississippi
I am going to add some flaxs seeds to my morning's yogurt. Thanks for sharing Heidi and God bless you ❤😊❤
I feed it to my dog every day too!
Thank you for all the great info! I was wondering if you eat beef liver and/or take the capsules? What are the benefits of it if you do?
Liver is high in iron so I avoid it, not just because I hate it but would also not take it in capsule form but for those who need a good dose of natural iron, that would be an option.
Thanks Heidi 😊 ❤❤
Thanks Heidi 😊 ❤❤
Flax seed also has more estrogen than soy...
it most definitely does
That's interesting
I am definitely going to try flax seeds thank you ❤
I would guess the gold flax seed might be more helpful with cholesterol levels?
Thank y. ,❤️😊👍🙏
Thank you Heidi! Blessings! 💜
I make my own brownie mix (from a RUclipsr) and add 2 Tbsp of flaxseed. It's perfect. But with chia seeds 😑 not so much! 😂
Love your info! Just wanted to mention to you woman to woman. That few of videos looks like either your moisturizer or makeup around eyes is not blended in. So shines like shiner! Just wanted let you know in case didn't know. PS cummin seeds something just picked up oil form. Thought might add to some tincs possibly. Love your opinion. Godspeed
Agree flaxseed oil is fishy tasting. I never had a chance to use flaxseed much but an trying it now as an addictive. Thx!
🌸🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌸
Our 30 year old horse gets flaxseed (ground) everyday with his mush. His coat is very shiny & dappled..may I should try some of his
🥰
Healthline website shows flax seed contains cyanogenic glycosides, which can bind with sulfur compounds and form thiocyanates. Thiocyanates, in excess, can impair thyroid function. Their site goes on to say moderate amounts shouldn't cause a problem for healthy individuals, but that those with thyroid conditions should avoid high amounts...I love the way they sidestepped whether moderate amounts would be a problem for those with thyroid conditions.
Yep, that is why I never fully trust all information from sites that are controlled by Big Pharma such as that one. They can have some great information but to those paying attention, it becomes clear who controls them

Yes agree I noticed this too
Just an fyi. I am subscribed but I didn’t get a notification. This video just came across my RUclips feed. So I checked to see if I was subscribed and notifications we on all. They are but I still didn’t get the notification.
Yep, this has been going on for several months now to nearly half of my subscribers and loyal followers, Just one of the many things that have been used to reduce my views by half of what they once were. Still working as hard and harder on my channel but only making half the income thanks to what they are doing to me
Heidi, I love your videos of the different seeds. Do I have to refrigerate any of these seeds? The Chia, flax, hemp hearts, poppy or black seed?
No and I never do. Here is what I do for long term storage of nuts and seeds: ruclips.net/video/AV-cIcmmhd4/видео.html
I put some into capsules
Flax is something I haven't used, although I did buy flaxseed oil one time, and it was not palatable at all to me. Thanks for the information, I will look for some seeds and try again. God Bless!
Me neither but I certainly will start using them
I can't eat seeds due to diverticulosis
Maybe if you try grinding them you will not have a flare up with the diverticulitis.
Thank you Heidi!
I don't taste fish, it is the same as linseed. So if you ever cleaned a paint brush with linseed oil, it is the same smell/taste.
I've been eating flax and chia seeds for years. Never used gold flax before. I'll be ordering soon
I am thinking of getting some on my next Azure order :)
Hi Heidi 👋🏻
🌱🥰🤍
Heidi can you get them organic?
Yes, that is the only way I purchase them through Azure (linked in description)
