I saw a video where a guy was doing ballistic tests on .22 mag rounds from one of these, and he found that every round sent from these super short barrels would keyhole right after it left the muzzle. So I'd probably go with a heavier solid fmj or flat tip round. I would suggest wadcutters, but I've never seen .22 mag wadcutters.

Yeah the bullets don’t stabilize and tumble right away. Still a cool little gun : )
