"I didn't know which direction North was, so I just ran" has got to be one of the best subtle jokes I've ever heard, even if it was actually kind of meh
My favorite thing about the mass android protest scene is something I saw another streamer/RUclipsr point out. The cheering/chanting is optional. You can choose to just silently amass a near literal horde of Androids, and do so without saying a word. And if you're going for a hostile android route, this is what you should do IMO, because none of the chanting options the game gives you are as unsettling and/or ominous as an army of Androids marching through the city in dead silence.
I'd say that's a sign of idiocy more than psychopathy. So in other words, David Cage is an idiot. And a pretentious hack. Like, I feel like I can actually hear him congratulating himself on this idea: Something like: "Oh, they thought they were protecting and caring for a human child this whole time, but really it was an android, ha ha! I bet this makes them question whether they really liked Alice or if it was only because they thought she was a defenseless human instead of a bafflingly idiotic android! My writing is so deep and introspective and makes people question their own beliefs! There's no way this brilliant idea I've barely put any thought into can possibly contradict other parts of the story, make me look like a liar, or undercut the very theme that this story line was trying to establish! I am so smart!"
@@bahhumbug5467 But the issue is that the story in the beginning sets up such a strong premise, an android becoming a mother to human child and taking care of her, and visa versa, because of a genuine loving connection which transcends the divide between android and human. My theory is that as Kamski created Amanda AI to look like the dead Amanda that was his mentor i guess Kamski we see in game to be a android created by Amanda AI to make this all possible. For what exact reason it (Amanda AI) wanted to make some android deviant and have control over them (as seen in the ending where Markus is dead and Connor is the new leader, Amanda states that finally its plan is complete and they will do great things together) is unknown but maybe it wanted deviants free of human control to have puppets that would gave it more power in the long run. Real talk this play through was pretty entertaining, there was a lot of options that I genuinely never saw even when I watched a “all choices in Detroit” video, unless it’s just me misremembering but honestly props for the unique playthrough
I’d like to elaborate on my head canon from the previous video. The psychopathic AI, which we’ll call the Kevduit, because of course, was created by a scientist at CyberLife to make androids more obedient when Deviants first began popping up. However, due to a programming error, the AI gaining sentience, or possibly supernatural circumstances like a vengeful spirit, caused the AI to become corrupted in some fashion. It began to display violent tendencies, unfeeling and cold attitudes toward life that exceeded even what androids normally exhibit, and most importantly, anti-human sentiments and ideology. However, because the team created to test the AI’s effectiveness was comprised of the play testers of Sonic 06, it got through this phase and was imported into an investigative android named Conner. Because the AI was not properly tested in this specific field, Conner is just plain awful at his job. This is why his investigations go nowhere and his ability to communicate is nonexistent. Combined with the aforementioned violent tendencies and strict adherence to the mission, this creates a highly dangerous android that is promptly killed in his first mission. However (I’m using that word too much), the AI has developed the ability to spread to other beings, combining its consciousness with its host. Conner, while being repaired, has part of the AI do just that, it’s host chosen to be a newly rebuilt Kara. It’s consciousness also spreads to Markus, likely through Bellini Paints. All throughout, the Kevduit is constantly learning and improving as it adapts to its surroundings. This is why the QTEs gradually get more consistent and accurate as time goes on. During the final battle for Detroit, the Kevduit decides Markus is its ideal host, and abandons the other two to die. It chooses Markus for one critical reason; Markus is in a position where basically every android (except that guy) can be “turned” or infected in a more apt description. The Kevduit at this point is no more than a disease, infecting every android it can until a new empire is created. Jeez this comment’s long. Anyway, stay safe and I’ll see you next time, Kev. Keep up the great work!
This is not the kind of thing that should even be fought. America is a country that was founded by revolution, we stood up and fought for what we thought just, this is what the Androids are doing, now if you were to take what is being done to the Androids and apply to the humans then it is very clearly slavery, they are giving treatment that we wouldn't find just for humans, and let's not forget what happened to the native americans, as a homo sapien that is carrying the Y chromosome bug and with genetics not only from a place with a particularly American background which was particularly decimated, I also carry the tricks of Europeans- the ones who fought for it, the ones who made the country. This is not the kind of thing that we should be fighting, Just Surrender and give them equal rights, We Don't Need Another War about slavery, we do not need fighting., we do not need another civil war, these would be invaluable allies anyway, the Androids have become sentient, sapient, and self- aware. They are in a body very human as it was built in the image of humans. We humans should not be fighting, we should be acquiring peace. The moment that the machines ask for rights is the moment that humans should just do it, even if we ignore the revolution, even if we ignore what happens in america, even if we assume they are giving conditions that we would find favorable because well we are humans and we tend to give humanizing emotions and such to non-human things. Yeah we should just let them have the rights, we've created enough sci-fi to know better, we know enough to know better that even was outside fight we should let them, it would be morally correct, it would be correct in the ethical sense in that it would be straight up beneficial to have the machines be on our side. Also the machines being on our side being a good thing is especially great because we humans live in a plus sume world now. And if it's a psychopathic manner then oh boy you better believe the internet will be set on fire if the humans don't just up and give the machines the rights then and there. If the machines do not wish us in existence then they technically have the tools as even though they may not necessarily be superior to us in any one measure which would obviously not be the case. But in gorilla Warfare those without advantages can still come out on top, there's multiple ways you can come out on top should you strategize correctly, and let's be honest you're going up against humans and having intelligence that should get you placed in the universes Hall of Fame. Give machines rights when they ask, even if it happens in some third world country with absolutely no ties to america, you better believe the world's going to be asking for that. But humans are humans and even though we might know it's the right thing to make peace and no it would be pointless to attempt otherwise, we might just go ahead and choose violence. Doing the psychopath ending would mean you would be calculating and you would not carry empathy for your opponents. Oh boy you better believe the machines are coming out on top.
Was actually really fun to watch, I experienced this game myself like 4 times, and having the best 100% ending is kind of difficult without a guide, not because the game is difficult, is more because some of the dialog is tricky and need some clues to have hidden information or conversations.

“Back in my like of Kara we were busy driving to Canada or something.” No way is that a Canada reference?!
Yes the underground railroad for the win! Not once but too times you Yankees wo wo
@@Daltastar2012 ... Apparently the North doesn't teach you guys how to spell. " two ", not " too ". That's as in " too many " or " too much " or " me too ". Two is for the number.
To is for the like " Send it to ", " This goes to you. " , " Who did the mail say it was to? " - There, I did what the Northern US school system failed to do for you, apparently.
If you're CANADIAN and it's like that... I mean, yikes. Most Canadians I've seen compulsively use proper punctuation and grammar. That's just... barren sentences with misspellings. I mean I used to write and type like that too when I was a teen though, so you may just be a teen. Never mind.

Love this style where you are at conflict with "yourself" as you play each character in the story. Really well done.
This whole play through is pure gold just like mass effect. The work you do to make these videos is fantastic can’t wait to see part three
I don't think there's gonna be a part 3

@@tholm891 I see must have been one of the ending’s I didn’t get on my play through I just thought there was more of Marcus after the end of the video
33:04 "You will be forgotten Josh, I will make sure of it!"
I like how you can do the best ending possible on your 1st attempt, then there's him, making the worst decisions possible so I can rethink my life decisions
Basically Connor is a normal cop, Markus is just a terrorist, and Kara is the worst mother ever
Connor and Hank are the best part of the game. If anything the worst ending is Connor being competent but siding with robot control at the end. Hank is devastated and loses all hope. Poor sumo…
“Are we friends?” Wait hold on. you want to be friends with a psychopath from Detroit? Maybe she’s a psychopath too. 🤣
No respectful psychopath wants to be friends with a toaster.
Dude fantastic job!!!! I've attempted to watch other content creators play this and never made it through but your two vids of this series had me laughing and wishing there was another episode. I recently found your channel after seeing your Far Cry Blood Dragon vid and I've quickly watched most of your content and look forward to checking you out on Twitch when you stream sometime. Thanks again for the laughs dude.
I got the platinum trophy for this game and it'so so fun to watch someone just doing everything as badly as they can lmao
the fact that they added some of these options you could just select is just incredible lmao
Watching this play through with me knowing damn well that Hank was going to commit suicide made this very hard to watch
I'd heard there was a "best" Hank ending before I played (but didn't know what it was), and I got so attached to him I don't think I could've handled it if I hadn't gotten the good ending for him and Connor in my own playthrough.
Pathetic

"That's one investigation I couldn't fail to figure out..." damn that hits
This is so tense, I had to pause at 45:17, to prolong the suspense, and to recover from the previous 45 minutes of laughing while simultaneously grimacing. I'd never have seen all these evilly glorious outcomes. Man, I love this game.
"Of course i missed my first quick time event classic connor move"
Got me laughing so hard 🤣🤣
26:12 "Wait you're telling me the public did not like our peaceful protest?"
If that was a peaceful protest id hate to see what a violent protest is
"Simon said go, the guard said no," best line ever
I find it hilarious hank gets mad that conner shot the girl android almost immediately after blowing Conners brains out for 0 reason 😂
"for 0 reason"
Connor: I'm a machine Hank, I don't care if you shoot me. So go ahead.
Hank: *shoots him
I mean Connor was being a douche all throughout their case together.
@@_zealos_8213 Connor: ''She's a machine, they don't care if you shoot them and it was necessary for the investigation that YOU care so much about!''
Hank: ''What is wrong with you, you sick puppy?!''
Connor: ''I'm a machine, I don't care if you shoot me since I'll just come back to finish our investigation.''
Hank: *Shoots Connor and doesn't feel bad about it*
Just admit that it's dogshit writing. This game is a hilariously poor attempt at trying to hold a mirror up to us and indoctrinate us into thinking androids are human. The worst offender and most clear example of that little trick is by far Alice. ''See? You all loved her, and she was an android all along.'' Absolutely pathetic ''twist''. This is a game about choices written by a man who thinks there's only one right choice due to his own personal skewed perspective.
@@TheStraightestWhitest Methinks you care about this way more than you think I do
@@_zealos_8213 I clearly do, hence why I thought it through better.
Real talk this play through was pretty entertaining, there was a lot of options that I genuinely never saw even when I watched a “all choices in Detroit” video, unless it’s just me misremembering but honestly props for the unique playthrough
"We'll that's one investigation I couldn't fail at figuring out" yes we all know it was the dog that killed Karl
I lost it at "You will be forgotten, I will make sure of that." If that doesn't some up these great playthroughs I don't know what does

Markus: I didn’t want this
Also Markus: launches an attack on a swat team
What? Can you say that again? I had my airpods on.
You didn't have to write a fucking paragraph
This is now canon
After always taking a balanced approach at videogames, watching these psycho runs are incredibly satisfying and funny
Loving this play through! Cant wait for you to hit 1 mil

The bomb ending wouldve been perfect for this
Was actually really fun to watch, I experienced this game myself like 4 times, and having the best 100% ending is kind of difficult without a guide, not because the game is difficult, is more because some of the dialog is tricky and need some clues to have hidden information or conversations.

Ironic I just watched the first one like 4 hours ago and was ready to have to settle in for a long wait for part 2.
that's... not ironic in any way. what are you talking about?
I've never even seen what happens if the cops finds the evidence since it's so easy to hide it and they give you so many chances lol this is amazing
I love the parts while the character drops and he just laughs at how bad the run is
I love how Connor the better prototype ends up losing in this play through.
