Yea there are other bands out there that love what they do. But you can feel it from volbeat. MIKES VOICE OMG WHAT A GIFT FROM THE UNIVERSE!!! MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIME!!! I stumbled upon Volbeat a couple of years back and was like, oh my god, absolutely phenomenal band with with an epic lead singer. They are huge in Europe especially with guests like Johan. Maybe America will one day wake up and realize how incredibly awesome and tight they are.
I've seen them twice here in the U.S. ... They packed the house both in Las Vegas and California. They have lots of adoring fans here who know just how awesome they are... and that number is growing :)
Greetings from the US. Just showed my good friend this song and Temple of Ekur, Still Counting. I thought the lyrics were originally “Fighting, Must keep fighting, stand beside me, stand me by, another moment, For Evigt(forever), just let me decide, must keep fighting, must keep me standing by” which is funny for not knowing it was danish. I have now translated it and can’t stop laughing at myself still, yet impressed with how similar it sounds in the chorus
I'm in Seattle, Washington USA and I like them. America can definitely be a bit slow when it comes to getting into European bands but as long as the band is good and they visit often enough to build up a loyal following they will probably be successful. 👍
I mean, we're all here for Volbeat, but I give a big shout out to Johan Olsen! What a voince that man has! I love it! You guys should work much more together and make more English/Danish mix songs. It works perfectly with your sound. Just take Garden's Tale, as another excellent bilingual song! Keep rocking, Volbeat and Johan! And remember: No ʽt sbiediḿastuqlâs ūdzabilmu zla'brọ, ċamorasai atrājiem. (If you are looking at a water drop through a magnifying glas, you will find eternity). Take care of the little things, it might hold a treasure greater than life itself.

For evigt, måske for evigt - "Forever, maybe forever" Skal vi sammen, samme vej - "Are we going together, the same way" Og når I morgen får øjne, og natten hviler sig - "And when tomorrow catches sight, and night rests" Skal vi for evigt måske samme vej - "May we forever be on the same path" I don't know if this translation is correct (thx Google), but it's an amazing lyric!
This song makes me think of my grand-daughter that passed on December 23, 2018. I was never sure what the lyrics said at first but the emotion behind it feels as powerful as the feeling of loss that I have been living with. I love this song and it reminds me every day to get up and just breath.
Johan is quite unique. Listened to him on his weekly radio program on science and nature a few weeks ago, talking about fusion energy, quantum mechanics, elementary particles and superpositions 🙃

We had Chuck Berry, then Elvis then led Zeppelin than metallica. Now we have Volbeat. God bless you guys for real. I would have samurai my pinky finger to be at this concert and I'm not even joking
Up to recently I was only vaguely familiar with Volbeat, having only heard the occasional song. Then just this week I truly discovered their catalog and I am well and truly hooked. Michael Poulsen is an absolutely awesome Talent. His studio-voice is like his live-voice-thats rare. And the live-performance with Johan Olsen is amazing. I like this version of „the bliss“ with chorus in danish language. 😁 I‘m listening to these songs every day, with full-powered Burmester Surround-Sound-System😁 Keep on going, guys 😎😁🤘🏻🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿🤘
“Forever, maybe forever Shall we go the same way together And when the night ends, in the morning well be in love Shall we go the same way, maybe forever” Thats my best translation for the chorus that makes the most sense to me at least.
Well, i usually avoid BIG concerts like this. Mainly because its NOT fun to watch the band far away, and usually the bands cant ensure good sound at a place like this. BUT, wow did Volbeat deliver the goods that night. YES they did. The sounds was incredible, the tracks, the guest artists, and the people I was with, made this the best concert experience ever. The day/night was awesome.
Saw them with A7X and Metallica the open air baseball stadium in Detroit last year, Volbeat by far had the best sound and, in my opinion, was the best of the three bands that night. Great band. Can't wait to see them again!!!
I've heard that the sound in parken is notoriously bad due the fact that it was designed as a sports stadium not a concert stadium, was it not noticable?
Its fucking sad when the guy who is supposed to do good job and make good voice, fucked up everything like on Slipknot concert. They should be more careful and choose good people on that other stuff too

@@rallefubu3648 Rammsteeeeein
I also think totally the same, and I would also add to the band *Five Finger Death Punch,* I even think that *Michael Paulsen* should collaborate with them on a song.

@@avaschwartz3282 hi
Michael Poulsen is an absolutely awesome Talent. His studio-voice is like his live-voice-thats rare. And the live-performance with Johan Olsen is amazing. I like this version of „the bliss“ with chorus in danish language. 😁 I‘m listening to these songs every day, with full-powered Burmester Surround-Sound-System😁 Keep on going, guys 😎😁🤘🏻🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿🤘
That’s because he uses auto tune live

One of the best live performances I've heard. My goodness that was brilliant! Take notes music world!
Any Swedes here listening to our nordic brothers? Vilken låt, väldigt väldigt dejligt 👌😀
🇳🇴
Ah ja vores nordiske brødre simp for os 🇩🇰
🇧🇻
I close my eyes and imagine I'm there. I'm screaming the amazing chorus. Before I forget, I don't know any Danish
Found these guys about a month ago, I'm just blown away. Incredible. Yeah my neighbors are getting a nightly dose!
Epic Voice, Magical Guitar, Powerful Drums and Amazing Bass....
hello, how are you doing
Mega!!! Wie konnte so ein geiler Song und so eine verdammt tolle Band so lange an mir vorbei gehen! Ich bin Schock-Verliebt💜
One of the best songs in history ever, love it!! Huge gratings from Sweden!
still me,9ops🎉😂❤❤❤❤🎉😮 0:57
Habe dieses fantastische Lied leider jetzt erst kennen und lieben gelernt. Absolute Spitze.
Geht mir genauso, kannte volbeat nicht wirklich. Aber musikalisch tolle Musik und super Gesang
“Forever, maybe forever
Shall we go the same way together
And when the night ends, in the morning well be in love
Shall we go the same way, maybe forever”
Thats my best translation for the chorus that makes the most sense to me at least.
Te envidio tanto...
I've heard that the sound in parken is notoriously bad due the fact that it was designed as a sports stadium not a concert stadium, was it not noticable?
Its fucking sad when the guy who is supposed to do good job and make good voice, fucked up everything like on Slipknot concert. They should be more careful and choose good people on that other stuff too
@@tannlknin6926 You can work around such problems if you know what you're doing and have studied the stadium.
How this dude sound almost like the studio version whilst playing guitar? And clearly a bit into the show as well? That was damn impressive!
I swear the god I couldn’t tell if they were live or not...
What an awesome band and most certainly what an awesome sound
