I just found out about Volbeat 6 months ago and this guy is one gifted singer and guitarist very ,very , rarely you hear a person sound this good live ,he almost sounds as good as his studio recordings , That is what you call true talent ,I am 58 years old and seen so many concerts Zeplin,Queen, Ozzy ,and the list goes on, Every body these guys are already a true legend in my books ,I am saying this with all the sincerity I have , so people trust me when I say this do every thing in your powers to see these guys live because now a days there are very few bands that I can think of that are going to be even close to this groups level and a special thanks to Michael Poulsen you are one of a kind Thank You Steve S.

I been watching Volbeat live music for 4,5 hours now and I start thinking "Wtf, am I doing? Why have I not been on any Volbeat live concerts? What am I doing with my life.." I really need to go to as many Volbeat concerts I can from now on. I don't think I will ever experience anything like Volbeat or better in the future, need to grab the chance while we can. Still an awesome voice, not trying to take away anything from him and I don't see a problem in mic amps, but to believe that just because you see him singing live there are no effects is kinda foolish. Sorry. Don't mean to offend you, cant find better words in my 3rd language 😉

Volbeat is truly one of the best in live seen them two times live in Helsinki they really are awesome

This song brings me to tears. Love it. Hope to see him live one day. But bravo on recording this. It was epic. Very good quality for this amazing talented voice. Always loved that voice. I can be proud and humble to say that I’ve mimicked his vocals very well over the years. Whenever I’m alone or sometimes even with the boys in the past, I can’t help myself but burst out singing my heart out everytime he is on the radio or on mine or someone else’s playlist. I’ve always wanted to sing a song of his with a mic somewhere with my buddies jammin along side me. The taste of good memories..hope those days come back around. The good ole innocent days of jammin &’ singing.
Lot of people seemed to not like this one live; I think they did great! They sound much closer to the album version than most bands.

I saw them at the Covelli center in Youngstown Ohio and what a night. He definitely has a cannon for a voice. They actually opened up for Five Finger Death Punch that night. Both bands kicked ass!
