Very thorough review that covers most of the details, but I have two questions regarding the pod poi capsules used. Are the pod capsules you used the shorter capsule shell version or the newer, longer capsule shells? Do the pod capsules fit the same as the LED module without causing any distortion to the head?

I really want to cut a color slide in half when I get my set of these to make a half red half white. Do you think that would work or should I just stick with the solid 1 color in your opinion?
These look way better than my fiber optic poi. They are cool, but the fiber optic tether going from the ball to the handle is too thick and it kinks up -- not as flexible as these. These look a lot better. However, changing the color looks a lot more difficult and there is no patterns or flashing. I do not like, however, that I cannot have swivels connected to the fiberoptic tether. That saddens me.

Are you able to switch the heads from ovo to contact spheres?
