This man does not get nearly enough credit, 10 years old and the community is still processing what Cyrille had to offer in the few videos he shared with us.
When I started spinning, this video was only a year old and after years of progressing, traveling, teaching, and performing I can attest that it still remains to this day to be one of the most inspirational flow videos ever made. Thank you Cyrille
13 years later and Cyrille's smooth and twisty isolating body tracing melts my mind 🫠
Still impressive 10 years later. Great work and thanks for sharing!
And still is the best.
This is just INSANE! I love rebounds and stalls so your style in my opinion is the best ive EVER seen! And i've seen quite a bit but you are seriously the best. I wanna know who on earth the three fools are that disliked the vid! Keep it up man, you're awesome.
omg Ive seent this video over 30 times over the past 2-3 years and man!!! Im still amazwed at your skill. Keep killin it Cyrille!!!! your so good I just wanna hug you!!! lol
This is, was and forever will be foundation.
Beautiful. I have no other word to express.
your wrapping of the wires is incredible. amazing. and you've been doing it all along.
So original. One of the best poi masters I've ever seen!
No matter how many times i watch this video, i am wowed. ur a beast man, keep it up!
Beautiful! Love the isolationed head pirouette. First video that has really inspired me for a while. Thank you.
taking isolations to a new level!! great work
This is an absolutely amazing and inspiring video i'm very glad to see it. I seen some of the concepts i've been working on taking in directions i hadn't thought of.
This is absolutely beautiful! It's great to see where you have gone with what you were showing me this summer. Great music and video editing too! =)
I will just live vicariously through you, you are simply amazing. The amount of effort you have dedicated to this is incredible
You've inspired me to get a pair of stage ball poi. I loved how much your body was involved. All the little things you were doing with your legs, and facial expressions, among other things, kept me from watching the poi only.
With the amount you kept your legs together and a small bend in your knees along with the ropes being constantly around your body, the overall impression I got was tied up, struggling and avoidance.
12 min video and I didn't get bored once, enough said. Good job man.
the crazy looks you give that ball is priceless
Is there a word for beyond amazing?
That was just incredible!
Whow! Your isolations are way beyond anything i have seen before!
This is incredible! Terrific work!!
Wow. Takes my breath away. These moves are so unique!
You probably get this 100 times a day. But I started poi and this kinda contact style because of you and these vids. Keep being an authentic soul as doing so has brought more joy to the world than you can imagine.
Great video Cyrille, excellent spinning throughout!
I loved all the isolations around your head and all the tosses,
time to practice!
This is mind blowing.
Cyrille, well done my man! it's been a long while since I've seen such a well crafted and beautiful video. fabulous inspiration thru every moment... can't wait to go play.
'Fantastic video, I started it in a mild state of awe and finished it in s state of amazement. It was a treat to watch!
Mind = Blown!!! Love your style, your flow, your creativity, everything man. Keep it up....and more videos please =)
This is the best poi i have ever watched! (if i ever start playing poi, i will put that video on repeat and slow motion... till i reach this level...)
dude... if I ever meet you, you're catching the biggest hug ever! That was brilliant!
Amazing! This is the best poi video I've seen in a while. Thank you for the inspiration :)
I don't really have much to say about the contact and manipulation stuff ... I'm still just swinging mine around. But I will say that the tangle and isolation work in this video is completely unbelievable. When I start doing contact, throws, and other manipulations I'll come back and have a whole new set of things to marvel at, but for now I'm just floored by 2:15-3:12 and 6:41-7:09. Maybe in a year or two I'll be able to appreciate the whole video.
this is the best poi video ive ever seen!
This is something so incredible and wonderful and beautiful and head breaking, I have no words.
This video is sooo awesome, so much great stuff in here man! Amazing style, amazing flow, love this video!
i think some of my brain, drained out my head>>>... thoroughly enjoyed and happy, extremely frustrated i cant do that yet.....
...my god...
This video blows my mind, 'cause'a how much of this stuff I've never even begun to thing possible... out of control...
Astonishing fluidity. Wow.
Creative, fantastic spinning- you take it to a whole other place Cyrille.
It is totally amazing!
Awesome moves, as usual, and awesome music to go with it! freat stuff, keep it up.
Cyrrile - Melting Poi. its been som years since I first saw you. but i think Im ready to finally learn and practice from this absolute mindblowing stuff
Cyrille I took you're geometric poi class two years ago at Fire Drums and was brain melted then and now am again, you are a master of your technique. I have been playing with a lot of the meltdown variations you do in this video with great joy. My friend you must come to a Flow Temple party here in the U.S. when you have the chance. Much love and respect.
John.
I had the same question for the same reasons. This video is so inspiring.
Superb video, some great concepts here.
Absolutely spectacular sir! Refreshing to see such original material. Especially loved the 1-poi variations. I love to manipulate 1 poi while fire spinning, this gives me a ton of motivation to keep pursuing it. Lastly, @ 3:59, the reg/reverse throw straight into the top throw was just what i've been searching for. Have been trying to incorporate that top throw into my flow somewhere, and you sir have found it. Bravo!
that was absolutely amazing. Ive never seen anything like it.
So good!
sir, if I wasnt a poi spinner AND a magician... I would think you're not human. excellent work, friend!
Beautifully inspiring
Yesss everything about this is sooooo YES
Your poi skills are out of this world! 0_0
Amazing stuff!!
that is an amazing video man. cheer for the inspiration.
Awesome ! we love you and the music....out of this world.
You're style is outrageous!
Sic sic sic... Incredible spinning skills. Am so jealous.
That was a great vid man!! Nice to c ur gettin into some glowstringing stuff with the wraps and traces :D Keep it up!!!
Lovely stuff
so interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Cyrille you are one of my biggest inspirations right now. This video is amazing and very innovative. im very interested int he materials your poi are made of. Ive experiemented with lots of different materials but i like the illusions you create.
BIg Big Props! your the man
ps your music mix is amazing as well i love phaeleh
I want this freaking Phaeleh mashup that he created for the video
@CyrilleHumen
I actually liked the cords being less visible in the shadows and more visible in the sunlight. It made the poi look even more like they were floating during your isolations, tosses and rolls.
This video makes me laugh and cry for no apparent reason.... maybe just sheer amazement and unbelievability... First words in my mind as I watched this: holy crap... what the funk is going on.... and I concur with ''MOOOOOOOOOOOOOR !!!!!!'' .... furthermore, please, please teach us Master Yoda
mesmerizing, awesome man
¡¡¡¡¡12 minutos de creatividad absoluta!!!!!
Phaeleh - Checki ---- really fits here! And those are definitely sticky poi's :-) keep up great work!
That was amazing, so much tossing and manipulation :D !
Amazing!
Pure inspiration.
YESSS! Mega Modern Fusion of Progressive Poi
@ericbagai why does he "need" invisible strings to perform? he's not doing magic, he's performing flow/contact poi... with absolute perfection. And bringing the video down to 3-5 minutes would only cut out all of the beautiful work he's created. He's not performing in Vegas, he's demonstrating his mastery of flow arts, and managed to fill an entire 12 minutes full of new stuff. Take it for what it is, there's no need to change a thing. Amazing, masterful, and PERFECT. Cyrille you rock!!! =)
this iis so inspiring and it means alot to me. your my poi hero
best poi video ever
amazed! Just great!
Phaeleh - Checki ---- really fits here! And those are definitely sticky poi's :-) keep up!
great!!!! and very inspiring....
Masterful
stunning
poi is a great thing to learn but takes a lot of time a commitment. I've been spinning poi pretty much everyday for 4 years and I'm still no where near the level of perfection like cyrille.
you just blew my mind 10 times over. Absolutely incredible. I've been looking to encorperate body stalls (or whatever theyre called) into routines, but i cant figure them out
I can honestly say the you are my Poi idol !
:D
I want to one day be able to do what you do.
crazy awesome!!!!
7 min mark man im blow away!!! and I thought I'v seen it all.
the flowest of flow
INSANE
in a good way of course
Magic!
I'm speechless. 12 minutes of continuous revelation. I saw your performance at the first flowshow in 2009 and it was so beautiful it actually made me cry. I can't believe how far you've come since then. Absolutely brilliant. (One thought, what about trying colored chains/handles, so that those who aren't familiar with poi and don't know what they're looking at or looking for, can see the complete movement of the instrument?)
wow the best ever!
ooo man you have the tricks I was discovering but it's cool now I know how to finish them :D !!!!!
siiick.
really awesome shiny.
Sigue siendo mi favorito
thats it. I'm learning poi......you are fantastic. no no beyonddd....
beautiful. fantastic. and just Wow. :)
After seeing this video I went out and bought myself some Yellow contact poi from oddballs. Only trained with chains and tennis balls before. Cheers!
you amaze me
incredible! O.O thanks for sharing
yellow attack balls!
there were some beautiful moments in there. i see some glowstringing influence, soccer, contact, poi, and looks like possessed too lol.
magic!
