Improve your shortgame with these tips. How to chip and when to use a 9 iron or a 7 iron. A 7 iron flies less but rolls more. A 9 iron flies more and rolls less than a 7 iron. Use a 9 iron if you have to fly over a bunker or very long grass.

With a seven iron you can chip easier with less risk. If you don't need loft to fly over a bunker or other hazard, use less loft and more roll...
