In the age of saturated drum vids, it's so refreshing to find someone who is genuinely born to teach. No flash, no gimmicks, just awesome drumming and awesome teaching.❤ 🎉

i havent tried it but i feel like im a slave listening and obeying everything mistress orders. yes mistress. sorry first thing that comes to mind. but jokes aside. i agree 100% she is born to teach. what a better world would it be if most teachers are like this

Thirty-five halftime shuffle videos under my belt, and you are the first to really show the details and how to get past the unnatural-feeling part. I was playing these grooves wrong forever, then have been hung up on the grace notes before accents and the “not flamming” parts. Thanks for the detail and the suggested exercise. Awesome!

This was great thanks. I am an emerging drummer wondering how to make friends with grooves at parties. Some local blues guitarists have invited me over and said "no drummers really know how to play a shuffle, that I've met anyway". So I'm drilling shuffles like crazy and you've just spelled out exactly how to make friends. That last one looks like a lot of fun.

I don't play drums, I'm a guitarist- but I really appreciate your channel and the lessons you're giving. I do the same thing with Scott's Bass Lessons, it gives me insight into other musicians. It helps that you're a delight to watch and break the theory down in a easily digestable manner. Keep it up!

Hello! I am a blind musician, and I am studying a superior grade on a school in Barcelona city with the electric guitar as the first instrument and the bass and upright bass as the secondary instruments I chose. Let me thank you for all your material, because, even I am taking drums classes since last September and I have been in contact with lots of drummers and so, it is the first time I meet somebody who makes real accessible content: you do a feel, or a groove, or whatever, then you speak the hands you are using at each time; not all people does that in these accurate ways of you! Thanks a lot for your work! TC!
