Nooooo! Don't smash the potential geode. Do you know someone with a tile saw with a water cooled cutting blade? If it is a geode you'll have a much nicer looking piece if you cut it in half with the tile saw rather than smashing it..........ask me how I know. : ) And thanks for sharing the story of offering a ride to the two people that had their pet spayed/neutered.
@@Pattybluehayes Yes, it was a geode that ended up smashed to pieces. The good part is that I had a 3 gallon bucket full of potential geodes remaining from geode hunting in Utah and I learned my lesson by then.
