As a real estate broker in Texas I appreciate Andrea’s professionalism. There are those of us here who follow the same protocol of full service start to finish and beyond. Thank you for this great information!
@@MarianKnowlton I love Panama - I don’t like the scammy real estate people 😆 Sadly, there are many. From developers who run off with money, property managers who put tenants in places and keep the cash (owner never knows) to unlicensed people who lack knowledge and don’t do public record searches, to Ponzi schemes and even selling property they don’t have permission to sell! It’s pretty wild.
Excellent video. Very informative. Good questions and good, clear answers. I'm looking to buy in Panama City in the next few months. Useful overview of some key issues.
@@stevel6420 I’m so glad you found it valuable! I love talking about real estate. I used to be a commercial real estate appraiser in the states for a time.
Wow very articulate and easy to understand. Maybe at some point do a live Q&A with either of these two?? The places highlighted here in this video are beautiful.. but way over my budget. I hope to go and find a rental in my budget when i come back next year. Not sure about selling my house, though. the market here in the US may be dropping and it would be easy to rent here in SWFL with all the snowbirds wanting to come here., but I do not want the headache of being a landlord. I want to leave because of the high cost of living, the politics and the horribly expensive health and dental care. I spent over 2k on a root canal. that doesn't include the crown.. which is on hold until I get to Panama. I just spent over 1k to fix my a/c, and 300 dollars for a battery for my car. My homeowners insurance is due next month.. anywhere from 3 to 6k depending on how much coverage I want. THEN November rolls around and Taxes are due. I am simply over this homeowner, vehicle, work a job thing. I am so ready to bounce out of here. Wish they would let me work in Panama!! But healthcare jobs are for the locals only.
A lot of the same reasons I left. My property tax is manageable, car insurance $200 for the YEAR ( I have an old car) If you want to work while living here, consider medical concierge. You can have an online business. But also depends on the type of visa you apply for. There are rentals much less than those in the video.
Amen about not wanting to be a landlord and your reasons for leaving the US. The real estate market isn't much better here in the panhandle of FL either. : (
So Glad I Subscribed To Your Channel. Very qualified & experienced people. Thank You. I’m actively researching options overseas to live half the year in. Dave 😎🏝️
Fantastic information… sounds like you need lots of money to hire you two… wonderful for the elite not really for the average Joe with some money and a decent pension… I appreciate your insight and your expertise…but I am worried that I could not afford your services… Thanks for sharing…
What a dynamic interview, Patty. Thank you. Watched it and saved it for the future. Loved the interspersed promotions of apartments for sale. Great editing. Thank you, Andrea. Thank you, Mike. I'm sure we will all cross paths at some point.
@@supramentalmanifestation Thank you! It was a lot of work to put together 🙏 I loved seeing those apartments, too (not in person). The city is beautiful.
Patty el tornillo building and a few others have that system where you can’t press the floor from the inside. I know Mike Kelly, he’s a stand up guy 👍 So why do they call them rellators?
@@juanluiscarbonepicard-ami5379 Every time I go into the city, I really feel like I’m so out of place 😆 My shoes are muddy, I can’t keep up with the pace and I stare at all the tall buildings! They are called Brokers because technically ‘Realtor’ is a trademarked name.
Thank you for this information. I really liked Andrea but not sure about Mike. If I was doing an interview I would definitely hire Andrea. Mike just didn't say much about himself. What did he actually do in S. Ca, is his background in sales, medical, ect... How does he vet the Dr's? He didn't even mention the name of the Medical clinic he managed. His relocation website is horrible. Needs to have the web developer fix it. I am assuming the link in the description is his.
