Especially since the winter is here where I live in Washington state. Am leaving the last of January for Panama and checking out things to look at while I'm there. Boquete and Pacific coast is going to be my destination.

Thank you for this video as yall made my day! We quit our jobs back in March and flew down to Panama and fell in love with it. After a couple trips there, we bought a lot on the Pacific ocean outside of Pedasi, and are currently having a house built there. We will definitely make a trip up to Boquete once we are down there full time and come to your booth. My lovely wife loves all those essential oils, so you will need to really stock up!! I wanted to leave the USA and move to the Philippines and after days and hours of research He said No! Panama instead. All these videos of Boquette just kept popping up all over the place! Across the street from a pharmacy with a neon green light shining into her bedroom,and one bedroom had no windows and there was so much street noise she could not open the windows but if she did open the windows she got a lot of noise and dust coming into her apartment. She was miserable there.

Yes, you need a work permit to sell products at the market. Krstl has a Friendly Nations visa and the proper permits to sell products at the Markets. You also have to report your income and pay taxes in Panama... and probably in your country too. US citizens are taxed on their worldwide income
One thing one should be aware of in Panama is: retail trade is illegal for non-Panamanians in Panama. You can only do wholesale as foreigner. You can found a limited company to get around this limitation but this brings some more annoyances. I also thought about selling something and dismissed it. Many foreigners (e.g. from Colombia, Nicaragua, etc.) do it nevertheless.
Where was the hospital that she went to? I am interested in knowing as I understand there is limited hospital care ( no overnight care facility ) in Boquette.

There is a legal way for a foreigner to sell retail. A good immigration attorney (like the ones we recommend) can get it all set up correctly.
