Another awesome video(as usual). I've had really good results fishing using the florescent yellow and green combination. Sometimes with a pearl white belly too. I started doing these a few years ago when I could no longer find them in the stores... It's been one of my favorite and most productive lures throughout my bass fishing career. I'm glad you made the video as the surface poppers have been nearly forgotten about with all the new lures out today. Well done!!!
Nice work! I have followed you quite a bit...thanks for the tips and great ideas on paint. I have used a bunch of your patterns on my own custom baits and had some great success. I'm just getting started in air brushing and lure building and you have been a great help. Please keep 'em coming!!! Thanks, Lightning Strike
Ditto Mike, I have been painting for less than two months and many of my first lures were following along with you. They came out extremely lifelike and surprisingly high quality for a beginner which has given me confidence to start making patterns of my own. Thank you!
I've been doing this lure for a few years now and I found the blank on both eBay and Amazon. It's quality is actually quite good. I believe it to be sheets but don't quote me on that. Good luck.
Hi, great vids. Can you tell me were I can get those popper blank lures? I like to try this one out. Can you do one of your videos but with paint spray cans, just cause I don't have an airbrush and I probably won't get one. But keeping or trying to keep the quality?
I have about 500 metal fishing spoons I need to paint. I have experience with an airbrush but not clear coating lures. Do you think an epoxy clear coat will hold up on a spoon?
+Michael Orensteen What brand and model Airbrush do you use? I am using a Paasche Talon but I have been reading that higher end brushes from Iwata may be better suited for detail.
2 yrs & No Haters, I think that's some sort of record, well done!
Lures look great. Good job.

I bought some really tiny brushes at hobby lobby for detail. They have a tiny cotton swab shaped, brush on the end. Very handy.
Looks cool bud! Can't wait to paint my own!

Great looking frog pattern. Would a sponge work well for putting the black in the spots so the paint is a bit thinner?
I don't see why not. What ever inspires you!
where did you get the popper body you were using. You a heck of a painter I hope mine come out 1/2 as good. Thanks

Looks mega bass like. Cool.
Trens de Pesca - Brasil - Muito bom seu trabalho!
What was your normal air pressure and then the reduced pressure ? Great vids, thanks !
PRACERZ air pressure varies base on how large or how small the area is you are painting as well as how thin the paint is. I like it between 10-15psi
nice brushing...thanks for this

JTA Kayak Fishing The blanks are at www.predatorbassbaits.com. I don’t use spray cans because it’s not accurate enough for details.
Nice pattern
I have about 500 metal fishing spoons I need to paint. I have experience with an airbrush but not clear coating lures. Do you think an epoxy clear coat will hold up on a spoon?
Yes. I have some large spinner blades and used epoxy clear coat and has held up
+Michael Orensteen Sounds good thanks I'll give it a try.
Could you turn up the volume, when you record? I can never hear it without putting computer, to my ear. Thanks, I really enjoy your videos.
There is no recording volume control on the GoPro. I have previewed all my videos and the volume level appears fine. Maybe it's something on your end?
It must be. some are plenty loud enough, but yours are always low volume. I guess it ie on my end.
can u send me a link to your whole spray brush setup like your whole system so i could look at buying one
Go to www.chicagoairbrushsupply.com. Look for the airbrush there. I also have the California Air Tools Ultra Quiet compressor with the 1.6gal tank

+Harvey Sherman I use an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS
+Michael Orensteen Thank you! Does it have interchangeable nozzles or just the .35mm?
+Harvey Sherman only nozzle but believe me it's all
You need. It can spray a line pencil thin of you need to
What about a black sharpie for the spots?
You can try that as long as it's permanent marker otherwise it will smear when applying the clear coat
Where do u get ur blanks
