This looks like a fun hobby to get into! I’ve been making my own soft plastic baits and wanted to start getting into making crank baits. I already have a few airbrush paint guns that I do tumblers on and would like to add crank baits to my hobby. What tips and advice could you give me? Where is the best place to buy supplies!
I believe this is where my buddy bought the crankbait bodies through "Cedar Run Outdoors" (cedarrunoutdoors.net/premium-dt6-ko/). I honestly knew nothing about it and it seemed to come naturally to my buddy. I would do what he did; paint in with air brush first, followed by placing the eyes and applying a clear coat. It seems as simple as that! I would recommend buying a few stencils in order to spray straight stripes or scales on the baits. I'm not sure where he bought those though.

I have painted some Amazon lure bodies and once you fine tune them they work just fine. I mainly use Predator Bass Baits blanks.
I am going to have to look into them! Thanks for the suggestion!
I been wondering if those bait were any good
