    Really thought the video was great. You have me wanting to try painting my own crank baits. Keep the videos coming. Enjoy them all.

    Good video, but a little more light would be helpful.

    How wide is the ribbon you was using? My hobby lobby has 2.5 inch in that exact same ribbon,looks like it's not wide enough...good vid

      Mine is just short of 2 3/4", so I suppose they are all about the same. It is shorter then I'd like, so I make sure I cover the back of the lure, and miss just a bit on the head. I like to spray a little dark color around the eye, so coming up short there doesn't seem to matter much.

    hello, or do you find the wire mesh in the roll please, thank you for your chain

      The mesh is not wire, it is cloth. I found it in the floral section of Hobby Lobby.

    Where do you buy your little John blanks?

    • @OutdoorswithDonandBob

      There are quite a few places. I've used Predator Baits, Dinger, and Shelts. I'm sure there are other places too.

      Very nice work! Quick question do you have system on reducing your createx paint I find it very thick and slow coming out of the air brush. Any help would be appreciated

    My friends to buy more times putting epoxy on your crankbait what I do is heat up the epoxy with your heat gun and it buys more time

    • @OutdoorswithDonandBob
      @OutdoorswithDonandBob  6 лет назад

      I'll remember that. In the winter I've put the epoxy in hot water for a while to warm them up. In the summer I usually don't have the AC turned on in the room where I paint, so it's plenty warm enough in there to keep the epoxy running good.

    What kind of bait holder?

    • @OutdoorswithDonandBob
      @OutdoorswithDonandBob  6 лет назад

      Not sure what you mean, but if it's what do I use to hold the lure while painting, I just use a cheap plastic clamp they sell at the home improvement stores for a dollar.
