Yes. Thank you jimmy carter for giving the crazies in North Korea nuclear weapons. And with American taxpayer dollars at that! Oh, and thanks for destroying the dreams of American Olympic athletes who worked so very hard to compete in the 1980 Olympics. Such a kind man. Having his wife and daughter carry his luggage down the steps of Air Force One while his bag was empty so he could show the American people that he was a common man, a man of the people. Spending the final hours of his time in office -- yes, Inauguration Day -- frantically trying to win the release of the American hostages when he knew that they were going to be released the moment President Ronald Reagan was sworn into office. So unselfish that he wanted to take credit for winning their release when he was the reason they were captured and held in the first place. Kind of like biden supporting the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq when he was in the United States Senate and then wanted to take credit for ending a war that he supported.
Or obama taking credit for ending the war in Iraq -- which he never did -- when he was only honoring the agreement that President Bush had made with those running Iraq concerning the withdrawal of American forces. Troops stayed in, obama called them something other than combat troops, and then escalated the war after allowing our soldiers to be sitting ducks for the enemy. So we were supposed to leave Iraq under the agreement negotiated by President Bush, we stayed in anyway under obama but just didn't call the troops "combat" troops, re-started the war with Iraq, and obama took credit for ending the war in Iraq and received a Nobel Peace prize despite being at war for eight straight years (in Afghanistan) and every single second of his failed administration. A Noble Peace prize for being at war in at least one country -- and with obama multiple countries -- every single second that he was in office. President Trump actually did negotiate peace agreements between Israel and at least four other nations and there is no way he will ever receive a Nobel Peace prize.

i will weep when he passes on. I have never seen a man more devoted to his faith.He used that faith in everything he did. He was also an Evangelical and his beliefs led him to stay connected to his to his church as long as he could. I can imagine how difficult it was to see a man elected in 2017 who was his complete opposite. When the terrible hurricane devastated Puerto Rico, there isn’t any doubt that he would have been there to help rebuild if he could have. He was not weary of physical labor when he knew in his heart that was what he was meant to do. Do you remember him standing at the front of a room and tossing out rolls of paper towels? Pathetic and embarrassing, but not surprising. Carter would have immediately gone to work rebuilding. I am in complete awe at what he has accomplished post-presidency. It shows his true character. Thank you sir for showing us what a man of faith can accomplish. You are a national treasure.

He is a hero. During his time in the NAVY he was irradiated while he secretly led a team to Canada in order to clean up a meltdown in a nuclear reactor. I am not sure he wasn’t a good President. He wasn’t a good politician. His successor was a good politician. But Reagan did considerable damage to the fabric of the country that lasts till today. Amazing that people think he was a good president.
I've always liked Jimmy Carter. And what a story about his wife having been delivered by his mom! Having known his wife all his life before deciding to marry her, I can imagine the amazing lifelong connection they felt... and I'd bet my bottom dollar he was never unfaithful to her❣🌠

POTUS Jimmy Carter is perhaps the most underrated POTUS ever. I am old enough to recall his presidency: he did the best he could with what he was given. He handled the treasonous pardon of Nixon, and he helped us all get through the stranglehold the Saudis held over us all. When he left office, he spent his time helping human beings to live with dignity.

I have always loved President Carter. I voted for him. My admiration only grew more in strength, he is an intelligent, caring man. The work he did with Habitat of Humanity was amazing. President Carter has led a full and caring life. I love both Jimmy and Roslyn Carter.
He is one of my favorite Presidents; along with President's Obama and Biden, I also admired President Clinton.

Yimmy was a great compassionate man but a lousy President. US Intellligence said he would be walked over and was by Iran, Russia, etc. He should have stuck with growing Peanuts. Yimmy was in N Phila less than two week after his Presidency building homes for Habitat for Humanity. Two of the guys who workd for me saw him walking down 18th Sreeet two blocks off of Diamond St, a real combat zone. walking with a hammer. Lefty said Hi Mr. President, and he said Hi.

Did you know Reagan had a secret agreement with Iran's Ayotollah to not release the hostages during the election campaign. Reagan even sent a secret group of his top confidantes over to Iran to present the Ayotalah with a chocolate cake shaped like a Bible. It's true. Look it up. ..... and Iran released the hostages, the day after Reagan's inauguration. And then there was Reagan's Iran-Contra imbroglio. And you can't blame the failed hostage saving attempt on Carter. The military was doing that job. Do you blame Reagan for the over 100 US marines killed in a few minutes at a Beirut bombing?
