When i see President alone in a speech I tear up towards the end...as I begin to miss a father figure...but this time I smiled because he was with a strong woman the woman behind his success and humility and everything that's Good ..So this time I smiled...

"Nixon said there was only one China, but he didn't say which one." 😂. I think Jimmy Carter is our last great President. How different the world would be today, had he served a second term.

This man will have his full recognition posthumously. His death will be a watershed moment for people to read his memoirs and musings and have him rediscovered as the true principled man he was. A true icon & visionary. I see his mannerisms in Pete Buttigieg.

Not one US soldier died in combat during the Carter Administration, the last one to achieve that honorable statistic. A real inconvenience for the military-industrial complex, which wished him away.

Carter is the male version of Betty White, look how fast moves......91......Thats what they call the "LIFE FORCE", of course most people dont have it and pretty worn out by 70. The guy interviewing is 63, almost 30 yrs younger and he seems slower than Carter.

And yet, on Reagan’s first day in office the hostages were freed. Don’t give me that crap that Carter was powerless to effect their release.

@@keithwilson6060he did work to release them, though. He was up all night on the final day of his presidency working the phones to get the home. The hostages were released only moments after Reagan was sworn-in, likely in an attempt on the part of the Iranians to make Carter look bad. Carter did all the work, Reagan did nothing except smile and wave.
