This man truely was an intellectual - profoundly well read, kind, and generous. He definitely was a rarity in our day & time.

This is the 3rd Video I have watched of President Carter..ever since I watched his Funeral on 9th Jan 2025..Such an Intellectual..Statesman..Man of God...Show me one Leader who can remotely come near him in Substance, Character, Faith and humility...This is the 3rd Video and I ended up in tears towards the end when he closed the Reading of the Poem of the 1st Lady...These are videos that need to be incorporated into all educational institutions around the world ...these are the books and videos Young kids need to read and adapt in their lives...His and Roslyene 's life are a Model to emulate...I specially liked the part on Isreal & Palestine...Wish he had another 4 year term to have made a bigger diff in peace..but even his Rival Gerald Ford ended up being his best buddy after Carter lost in 1981...That's the type of man and upbringing and surroundings he came up from and ended up being a Nobel Peace Prize Winner...it's not given to mortals..He was an angel...God bless the Carter Families...Be sure I will tear up in instalments as I will be surfing and finding more topics and discussions with President Jimmy Carter...

Me too! I think so many of us are, we hunger for goodness and he personified it! Plus the beautiful memories of younger, simpler times, when I was a young teen with my parents.

He has been given a bad wrap by so many.
He is a brilliant man,and in my opinion, Jimmy Carter was a good President.
I don't know exactly why he has been so criticized as a President.
He is coming to the end of his life. I don't know why he has put himself on Hospice.
I admire him very much for doing so many things. I mean over 25 books. WOW!!!!
He is a wonderful Christian, and he is very vocal about that .t

Jimmy Carter was not re-elected for not rescuing the American hostages in Tehran early enough though he did. But Trump has been re-elected in spite of January 6th while congress was besieged for hours and men in uniform killed in the American soil and he did just NOTHING!!!
      America... too strange for me!!

I listened intently with intent to know more about you, as a person, to edify my "education". I am turning fifty this summer. I am so depleted trying to find a way to obtain a degree in English. My daughters are the first females in my immediate, biological "family of origin" to graduate highschool, attend college, and finish a Masters in Business and a Masters in Nursing. Now, I want to finish and begin college. I'm running into "walls". You inspire me, and through you, your mother. Thank you!

I voted for him twice now I am a Trumper. I didn't always agree with his politics. I didn't vote for Regan but he became a better president than Carter. My respect for Carter is the humanitarian he became after he left office. His biggest accomplishment is the peace accord he brokerd between Egypt and Israel. I always saw him to be a very nice man.
