Rosalynn Carter was the wind beneath James Carter’s wings and like a breath of fresh air for our nation. She was strong and dedicated to her faith, family and nation throughout most of her life.
We are grateful for her support and devotion to her husband and years of service to our country. This former First Lady was truly a steel magnolia. May she RIP.
My heartfelt condolences to former President Carter and his family.

I'm not an American, I'm a Canadian, but President Carter and his wife Rosalyn were not strangers to this country, or to my city, Winnipeg in particular. They traveled here several times over the last couple of decades to help in building homes with Habitat For Humanity. They were both outgoing, friendly and obliging. In fact, they were the embodiment of Southern charm.
My deepest condolences to President Carter, his family and to America. RIP Rosalyn 🙏

Yes, we certainly could use some of her class and humanity nowadays. Sheer greed seems to be consuming the US, but the Carters will always remain shining examples of what charitable greatness we are still capable of if we only learned to listen to our better selves with greater consistency. Mrs. Carter leaves a tremendous void in our nation's collective sense of moral purpose.

It's not like Jimmy Carter made social security a taxable income while giving the ultra rich massive tax breaks or anything like that. Carter came into office after Nixon/ Ford. Greetings from London.
With condolences to the former President for your loss - I was a young man at the time but I'm aware that the first lady plays a serious role in the US and she was a shining example of love, compassion, a dedication to her role and love to her husband that is an example for us all.

She was always thinking of others before herself. I think she was the most beautiful lady inside and out. Their marriage was truly blessed.
Now she will go up to meet God face to face and he will say “Well done my faithful servant!” 😊💙

We lost a great former first lady today, a Humanitarian and a very intelligent woman. May she rest in heavenly peace. My deepest sympathies to her husband and their children and all the friends . Georgians should feel proud to have had the Carter's in the presidential office, and their legacy lives on in all their acts of kindness.
