I got stopped by the cops earlier tonight in my 2002 Civic I deliver DoorDash in. My state has mandatory insurance laws, but I have no interest in insuring that car, it's cheaper to pay a fine if I'm caught. DoorDash insures me on deliveries anyway, so I'm never driving that car uninsured. When I told the cop that he became absolutely infuriated lol. He said "you're gonna insure that car or I'm gonna cite you every time I see you" I told him that was fine, because I don't get a lot of orders to that Podunk town anyway. He then tried to hammer it in "NO, YOU'RE GONNA INSURE THIS CAR!!". I immediately recalled this scene and every time he told me I had to insure that beater I just came back at him with either "nah" or "nope" in the same sassy tone as Ray, and he was so mad his head was about to explode lol, but I told him I was just being straight with him. He wanted to arrest me and impound my car so badly but couldn't. I got a $120 fine to pay, but it was so worth it 😂😂😂

The ice cream machine gets really gross really quickly because it handles sugar and milk; it has to be cleaned several times throughout the day to prevent mold, and it can’t be used while it’s being cleaned. If you wanna be 100 percent sure you can get your shake, go to an ice cream parlor.

@@Ratchet299 if it was a temporary “imperfection,” as you say, I’d agree. But this has been a consistent problem for the last 10-11 years at least. And the corporation has done nothing to fix the problem. When a company blatantly does nothing to fix a problem that’s been there that long, there are motives involved.
McDonalds leaves it’s ice cream machine problem unchecked for the same reason Walmart keeps its registers unmanned and why Starbucks butchers easily spelled names on their cups. One, It’s free marketing. The alchemists at Big Tech have found a way to monetize attention. The more the name gets thrown out on the internet, the more free publicity it gets. Positive or negative, it doesn’t matter. Two, it’s a way to lure a customer into a bigger purchase. The customer may want an ice cream cone at the drive they, but after hearing the machine is broke, he or she may purchase a more expensive item. These companies have very clever ways to increase sales, and the ice cream machine trick is one of them.

But the fact of the matter is they constantly said "No", and Kroc got tired of it, he had great ideas. if I was in Krocs' shoes, I would've explained to the brothers that if they said yes most of the time with a few "No's" here and there....fine....but it was just no after no after no after no. `You have to admit this was basically legalised theft. I understand Ray Kroc's frustration he was out there putting in the work and getting the business moving and getting the right investors and right people to run the restaurants, but he hated the fact he never made anything on his own he took credit for their work and their ideas and stole their family name in the process. Even Keaton said you can admire his ambition, his hustle and his entrepreneurship but you can't ignore the fact he stole it all essentially because of loopholes and non sensical law, but also he would've been fine with no one knowing about the McDonalds brother he never gave them a dime that they were entitled too. He really was a thief.

Is he could literally have gotten them down to nothing but silent partners with no really say over the business but still getting, their money and royalties to which they were entitled. He didn't even do that he just completely sandbagged them. That is ridiculous it should be one absolute law, when you are the original creator of something you should get royalties no matter what you should never not be getting your money especially if it's incredibly popular. Does anyone really think they taste good?
