The actor Robert Patrick as The Villain T- 1000 the liquid metal Guy is one of The Best Villains Ever honestly what a performance he did 10 out of 10
Miles Dyson is the GOAT secondary character in this movie. As an unaware scientist who is about to make an award winning and world changing advancement to technology, hears what exactly he creates with proof from Arnold shucking his skin off his robot arm and wholeheartedly agrees to tear down everything he has worked for until then.
I can't stress enough how much I love the scene where Miles, full of bullets, manages to stay strong enough for the future while holding the bomb detonators. Him breathing till his last breath will always be burned into my mind.
Pour one out to Miles Dyson. Without him going back on everything he'd been working for towards this moment, we'd have already been atomized by Skynet in 1997.
you nailed it... his scenes shows how important a good script is, combined with a talented actor. his screen time is pretty short but he getting shot and dying touched everbody. its a lost art, you can kill off the main character in todays movies, nobody gives a shit.
It's crazy that in the parking lot chase scene, they had to retake it a few times to make the actor run slower since he caught the bike every time.

This is my favorite action movie of all time; it just barely edges out the first one. I saw it in the theater when it came out and that was it. Sarah is my favorite heroine. The action is so, so good and still holds up fantastic. SO GOOD. Love me some James Cameron too. The Director's Cut is the one I usually watch, as it has some really cool extended scenes I wish could have been included. But run-times and all that, lol.
Aliens is another fantastic action movie, also directed by James Cameron. Alien is such a great sci-fi movie that if you haven't seen them, give them both a watch. Edit: lol, y'all just mentioned it. 👍
I wonder what it must have been like to be a kid watching this movie when it first came out in the movie theaters. Because it still hold out in terms of the quality of its action scenes, special effects. Not to mention the unforgettable characterization of its villan.
The T-1000 is still the best Terminator yet he was scary, ruthless and felt unbeatable even more then the first, Robert Patrick owned this role.

He was always portrayed a smart and kind person who ultimately sacrificed himself to try and save the world from his accidental creation. I don't understand why they were hating on it. I feel like if the character were white instead of black they wouldn't have cared.

@@OtakuMainer That's three decades. Nowadays, 10-year-olds would have to add the 90s, 2000s, & 2010s. As time moves forward, that number continues to increase. Especially if you include multiple countries. Only in the past few days did I have the opportunity to watch Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain (1983), A Chinese Ghost Story (1987), The Bride with White Hair (1993), etc... Not to mention that there are many classics beyond movies: TV shows, music, video games, books, theater, sports, etc... A few months ago, I started exploring top rated pro-wrestling matches in American, Japanese, & Mexican promotions. Not even close to being the tip of the iceberg.

There wasn't internet like there is today when I was watching those movies as a kid. I rode my bike into town to the video store and brought home bags of VHS tapes. My mom had great faith in my ability to understand the difference between reality and movies, so i was allowed to watch w/e I wanted.@@jp3813

Even nowadays when things blow up the amounts of people call stuff overrated compared to other stuff and for good reason . Saying Arnold’s terminator is the true definition of being a better version of the terminator in the first movie is a fact . Saying the second movie you liked better is one thing but to also say but the terminator of Arnold’s character was better in the first is another. Listen to any huge terminator fan say that cause they certainly have . Even after t1 came out once t2 was about to release in theaters people were so disappointed with finding out ahead of time Arnold was going to be the good guy and ever after they ended up liking t2 a lot more still they preferred seing Arnold as the ruthless killing machine that they feared from the first film growing up . Arnold is uncle bob in t2 and majority will agree period. I’m one of the biggest terminator fans you’ll ever meet so I’m not wrong about anything about what I’m taking about on thee kinda topics 😂😂

Honestly, you could probably skip all the rest of the Terminator movies and go right to Terminator: Dark Fate since it's more or less a direct sequel to the first two movies.
The first was made with 6.5M and this one had 101M behind it and they still hold up after 30-40 years regardless.

7:28 In time travel theory, that's called a causal loop. The machines end up inadvertently causing their own existence, effectively giving birth to themselves. Also, if the machines don't send that first Terminator back in time, Kyle Reese would never be sent back as well and he'd never father John. The machines end up creating the enemy that they're trying to eliminate.
Hence, the alternate ending of this movie doesn't make any sense.

The Terminator is possibly the greatest "B-movie" ever made. By that i mean, it is the greatest low-budget sci-fi ever produced. The Terminator is a great inspiration for future filmmakers. Cameron showed us what can be possible on a small budget and its freaking amazing.
T2 on the other hand is the greatest action movie ever made. Cameron showed us whats possible once youve established yourself in the industry. And its freaking phenomenal.
I just wish we could get a new 5.1 remix for The Terminator. The .45 longslide should sound like a freaking cannon. The audience should be just as shocked and stunned by that weapon as Sarah Connors neighbors after the Terminator blew her head off. Theres an interesting deleted scene revealing the aftermath where Sarah Connors neighbors are running around in complete panic mode. But the newest 5.1 remix makes all of these bad**s weapons sound like squeaky toys, including the shotguns. You cant feel anything from a sound effect like that.

IMO, this and Aliens, are the only 2 sequels that are better than the original. I've watched a lot of T-2 reviews, and men, myself included, and you guys, always react worst than women do, to the licking scene.🤷♂ Also, the guards in the hospital were twins. Han Solo saying "I know" was Harrison's idea. He didn't' think, correctly, that Han, would say I love you too, or something like that. I love the helicopter is not that high. It's high enough so that you wished it was higher.😁
