Right out of Graduation from a TCM school a student is not ready to treat. Schools just teach the basics. The student must find a practitioner who is good and be taken as an apprentice to learn the nuances of the practice that would make that student an effective practitioner.

Alex....thank you so much. I found a wonderful 5 element acupuncturist. The interaction itself was healing to me; it felt like sitting in a incubator of well being

Yes.I had something come on where I couldn't move my neck and upper body. I was lucky that my client had a small practice so the connection was chance. My first time ever experiencing acupuncture it was terrible. So painful, that I seized up and had them remove immediately. Ana ,my client she was brilliant. Environment matters a lot. She even played the singing bowl before hand. Idk what there called, sorry. I was woken up gently, never fell asleep so fast and so deep. Miraculously, my pain was gone. She is amazing

He's useless....find a properly trained, actual acupuncturist ! All bad workmen ALWAYS blame their tools !!!
That's why 'western 'medicine labels everything with a fancy name ....'' oh you have 'a serious ' ( IE 'serious' means WE can't cure F.A. ! ) disease ( sic ! ie '' NAME'' ) so we can only 'control the symptoms ' ...until ' it' ( IE : we, kill you with our poisons and butchery ) sooner or later kills you . '' ...
.'' Oh and only expect an extremely low level of any kind of 'relief ' ....with dreadful ' side effects' ie ..OF COURSE ' naturally' '' :
Ditto : any other NAME for 'doctor ' : A practitioner who blames the person or 'the name of the disease ' ( sic ) for not being capable of actually curing ...is a fake ...end of ....and to rake in money from ''not curing '' , should tell you something about ''the ' nice' woman or man '' ....as a matter of common sense .

Very, very pointed discussion and relevant advice!!!
YES- the level of diagnostic skill is far deeper with herbal prescription than acupuncture
YES- the conscious self is the one to appeal to in ALL pursuits certainly health!
YES- the practitioner must include you in on the real jewel of the experience: the knowledge and insight to be gained!
YES- not all practitioners are created equal! There is always a flawed human being underneath all the professionalism. How humble and devoted they are will make all the difference in the success of your treatment course.
YES- Chinese medicine gives you an infinitely wider framework within which to assess your HUMAN condition as well as your disease condition.

OMG! I've been saying this for years!! You have to shop around for a quality acupuncturist, best if they are trained in China and little western influence.

Well he didn't answer but I can testify to this also. At 32 I had been.suffering with very severe pre menstrual symptoms every month, since I was a teen. No GP could do anything for me other than over the counter pain meds. They couldn't even explain why it was happening. So I went to see a TCM doctor who specialized in women's fertility issues. After the first treatment of acupuncture she gave me herbs to prepare and take daily and for the first time in my life I had a pain free period with no pre menstrual symptoms at all. I had such invasive symptoms it was ruining my relationships, work, and worst of all must self esteem. Some types of PMS make you suicidal and I had that. I couldn't believe I had been left to suffer so much by every doctor over so many years yet this one literally flicked a switch with herbs. Next visit she explained the hormones involved that caused the particular set of symptoms I had ( one was kicking in late and making a domino effect each month ), so the herbs effectively corrected a hormonal timing issue. Over the years the issue would slowly develop again but I just went back to get herbs and it reset the system. Yes, she gave me some acupuncture but I reckon it was the herbs that sorted me out.

Hi Alex! I'm a 53-y/o single guy, & empathize w/your plight. Your description in 1 vid has been my experience w/dampness for the last 20 yrs w/o relief, & I've spent $10,000+ on Western & Eastern dr's. Western offered nothing, but the 1st acupuncturist I saw diagnosed me, & I've been grateful to TCM since, tho it hasn't really helped (acupuncture, acupressure, herbs, qigong). What I did want to ask you -- it's OK if you don't know the answer -- is, if I do qigong, it tends to over-energize me & I cannot sleep. This goes for all styles, & no matter if it do the exercises in the morning or evening. This has been a colossal frustration to me, since "everyone" espouses how healing this stuff is, but it makes me unable to sleep. Your thoughts? Many thanks. / Glenn Allen, N.J.

Don't settle for ' not being actually CURED ! ' Either do some research and find a proper acupuncturist or get some books on homeopathy and start studying , so that you can treat yourself.

@Margaret An Asian lady said years ago, "You're doing something wrong...." & recently someone pointed out the problem: The qi is built up, but has nowhere to go, so I'm revved up (this lasts for days, & Falon Gong was even worse!). He said to do dissipation exercises to disperse the qi. I'm about to figure out how....

You gotta change what you eat. Ive been struggling with dampness for 20 years also. Recently noticed the effects diminished when i started to eat steamed veggies and fruits during the treatment.
Its wholistic medicine and analogy is this if you start a fire to stay alive , dont put water on it.
Fried greasy food, greasy meat, sugar, bananas, licorice, all alcohol and more food items aggravate dampness. Its the hardest thing to get rid off.
On top of my dampness I got heat now. Hooray. Had to stop the medicine as 2 years of herbs started to get very expensive. The only reason why i didnt heal it is cuz i started to follow my advice too late.

A good Chinese medicine doctor will always prescribe herbal formulas tailored just for that person based on his or her individual condition. A stomach problem in TCM is only the symptoms and the TCM doctor would try to find the root cause of the symptoms: are they caused by spleen yang deficiency, spleen yin deficiency, or maybe stomach or small intestinal issues, so it's very difficult to tell you what your son should take without knowing the root cause of the symptoms. Of course there are ready made herbal formula pills that you may be able to take, but personalized herbal formulas are always the best. Unfortunately, it's so hard to find a good TCM doctor in this country who knows how to prescribe herbal formulas. Most Americans equate Chinese medicine with acupuncture. However, TCM is first and foremost prescribing herbal formulas, and acupuncture and other treatments are auxiliary.

2:57 I use to take forever when going to the bathroom taking probiotic for under a week made a huge difference I also couldn’t believe how quickly it could go.
Stool is bacteria and fiber. Fiber feeds the bacteria. Probiotics seed the bacteria to grow.
I’m not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice. Wrong strains or too much of one bacteria can also cause imbalance such as weight gain... bacteria balance in the gut is related to emotional problems according to some studies such as being adventurous our timid.
