This is educational for me as first TCM user, I have frozen shoulder and neck pain for 5 years now and recently was introduced to TCM especially acupuncture and it helped me a lot and looking forward to taking the powder form of the treatment. I feel TCM is the most realistic of all natural healing. I Think lifestyle medicine is great to reduce issues. Western medicine is for last resorts or to slow down things that the natural can't stop by itself.
My only qualm with “traditional” “medicine” is the inclusion of threatened animal parts and such quackery as believed to cause healing. While I’m sure some aspects of TCM are valuable, Modern science has its benefits.
But actually some TCM ingredients are not all based on animal products, it's totally dependent on what it's for and can always done in different forms without the use of animal products... However I don't see much of a problem in using animal products, people eat animal products daily in their meal if unless they are vegan's. TCM is more about regaining benefits and rebalancing in a slower process compared to western medicine where taking prescript drugs has a quicker effect but resulting in side effects. Personally I support both Eastern and Western Medicine and use them correspondingly depending on what it is that I am trying to cure. Any severed diseases, sickness, infections and stuff I would definitely rely on Western Medicine since its fast reacting. Though things like longterm/chronic pain such as headaches, osteoporosis, arthritis , skin complication like eczemas and acne, etc I would rely on TCM. Using herbal ingredients, cupping, acupuncture etc.
modern medicine aka BIG PHARMA is killing people. Most people start off with1 pill, then end up with 2 pills, 3 pills, then pretty soon they're on dialysis. Modern medicine does not always solve the root problem. They just cover up the symptoms. For example, people taking pills for diabetes, eventually end up with worse diabetes. Also people who have eczema who are treated with immunosuppressants are actually causing their immune system to eventually shutdown. Big pharmaceutical companies end up making illnesses worse. You cannot trust any drug pusher 100% and you cannot trust people selling herbs 100% either. Basically do your own research because you cant trust medicine when money is involved.
Certain teas are really very premium. In China , they sent tourists to buy too. Claiming it to be of extreme premium stuff. They sold it in cakes packaging.

Years ago, I was with a Chinese lady and she wanted to look for Lion's ointment. According to her lion's ointment was very popular with Chinese. Supposedly it was good for aches and pains of joints. This was odd as I never heard of locals buying such ointments before. I think it was one of those places that tour agencies sent the tourists to.

Was always interested in TCM but can never find any good resources to learn it online for free, like what they'd teach you in this store. Although I don't believe in a lot of what TCM offers for its foundational working such as the existence of Chi, I do believe that the 1000s of year of research into various herbs and spices and their combination / application can remedy all kinds of diseases and disorders with little to no side effect that modern medicine doesn't offer. The application and knowledge really needs to be combined into modern medicine so that instead of relying solely on extremely expensive synthetic drugs, more research can be put into TCM with a combination of modern medical practices and some drugs.

This is educational for me as first TCM user, I have frozen shoulder and neck pain for 5 years now and recently was introduced to TCM especially acupuncture and it helped me a lot and looking forward to taking the powder form of the treatment. I feel TCM is the most realistic of all natural healing. I Think lifestyle medicine is great to reduce issues. Western medicine is for last resorts or to slow down things that the natural can't stop by itself.
My only qualm with “traditional” “medicine” is the inclusion of threatened animal parts and such quackery as believed to cause healing. While I’m sure some aspects of TCM are valuable, Modern science has its benefits.
The biggest misconception is people think traditional medicine use animal products. Most of the ingredients is either plants or fungus.
My only qualm in modern "medicine"is the popular use of pills.Pills for everything, pills in our water...Killing us AND the animals
But actually some TCM ingredients are not all based on animal products, it's totally dependent on what it's for and can always done in different forms without the use of animal products... However I don't see much of a problem in using animal products, people eat animal products daily in their meal if unless they are vegan's. TCM is more about regaining benefits and rebalancing in a slower process compared to western medicine where taking prescript drugs has a quicker effect but resulting in side effects. Personally I support both Eastern and Western Medicine and use them correspondingly depending on what it is that I am trying to cure. Any severed diseases, sickness, infections and stuff I would definitely rely on Western Medicine since its fast reacting. Though things like longterm/chronic pain such as headaches, osteoporosis, arthritis , skin complication like eczemas and acne, etc I would rely on TCM. Using herbal ingredients, cupping, acupuncture etc.
modern medicine aka BIG PHARMA is killing people. Most people start off with1 pill, then end up with 2 pills, 3 pills, then pretty soon they're on dialysis. Modern medicine does not always solve the root problem. They just cover up the symptoms. For example, people taking pills for diabetes, eventually end up with worse diabetes. Also people who have eczema who are treated with immunosuppressants are actually causing their immune system to eventually shutdown. Big pharmaceutical companies end up making illnesses worse. You cannot trust any drug pusher 100% and you cannot trust people selling herbs 100% either. Basically do your own research because you cant trust medicine when money is involved.

Years ago, I was with a Chinese lady and she wanted to look for Lion's ointment. According to her lion's ointment was very popular with Chinese. Supposedly it was good for aches and pains of joints. This was odd as I never heard of locals buying such ointments before. I think it was one of those places that tour agencies sent the tourists to.

Was always interested in TCM but can never find any good resources to learn it online for free, like what they'd teach you in this store. Although I don't believe in a lot of what TCM offers for its foundational working such as the existence of Chi, I do believe that the 1000s of year of research into various herbs and spices and their combination / application can remedy all kinds of diseases and disorders with little to no side effect that modern medicine doesn't offer. The application and knowledge really needs to be combined into modern medicine so that instead of relying solely on extremely expensive synthetic drugs, more research can be put into TCM with a combination of modern medical practices and some drugs.

In the olden days this was done using Martial Arts + Study i do not think there are any Chinese left that fully comprehend the true power of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
