I live in Sumatra, an Indonesian island that is close to malaysia and singapore. Here kue lapis is actually really common, usually made by group of moms/aunties that sell breakfast like lontong and nasi uduk to help their family finances.
When I see how these guys at the Kala namak factory work, I am not sad that this way of doing it is dying out. Some things can go if they are harmful to the people doing it and in this case, the produce cannot be healthy to the customers as well with them burning tyres and all that. Yuk.
@@julianarodriguex899 When burning bicycle tires, the primary emissions include toxic pollutants like carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), particulate matter (PM), and potentially small amounts of cyanide due to the chemical composition of the rubber, making it dangerous to inhale the smoke produced from burning tires.
Many of these different trades or crafts that these people are making if they could get their own RUclips channel and explain and show everything people in the usa would love to purchase these items and they could do very well for themselves!! At 33:10, the cohinita.. she must be really good at grinding the spice because you could easily crush or roll over your finger with that big rolling stone😬 that's pretty cool.
How can Black Salt go out of business? They are keeping up with the technology. They heat the salt with cow dung, coal, and burning tires. This must add to the extraordinary taste of this magnificent culinary ingredient.
Ditto on that. I had a worse job that used a much different kind of salt. A caustic salt used to clean parts at a foundry. My eyes and lungs were burning. I was told to crawl i side a tank and clean it😮 quit on the second day. These guys probably don't have many options😮
But burning Diesel and old tires is the traditional Way that delicious salt is made. Oh and cow dung. How else do you expect it to get that delicious melange of diesely, rubbery cow dung goodness? I am actually surprised they revealed the secret ingredient. Now everyone will be smoking things in cow dung for that bouquet of aromatic flavor.
Rubber tires are more worrisome to me than cow dung. Folks have been cooking over cow pats for a long time, and herbivore dung smells a lot less nasty than human/omnivore/carnivore shit.
@@Tina06019 no. Herbivore shit smells just as bad. No bro. Never cook with any excrement. It's filthy & unhygenic. They did it out of desperation in the past, not bc there's nothing bad about it. I wonder if black salt manufacturers in India have ever been introduced to the concept of work gloves or shoes when working with metallic tools and heated product. Sandals and a barehand--no wonder it's a dying industry. No need to mention the constant inhalation of smoke...
would have been a wonderful video save for that not so sneaky little part of expressing a preference for an ongoing violent conflict. unprofessional and heartless regardless of how short the segment is.
The burning of the black tire was only to ignite the fire. They used cow dung as fuel, and cow dung doesn’t just catch fire easily-it needs intense heat to ignite. That’s why they used rubber, specifically tires, as an accelerant for the cow dung and the entire fire. On top of that, the black salt isn’t exposed to the fire; it’s inside the pot. So, how can you even claim otherwise? Are you stupid?
Very sad to see that one factory owner had been running things in horrible working conditions for all of his employees / slaves. I got really angry when he acted like he didn’t understand WHY even his own children wanted nothing to do with his factory. If he invested in actually improving conditions for the labor force, people wouldn’t be wanting to avoid the trade nearly as much. I understand that not every nation has the same resources / culture around the labor classes, but showing up to an interview for business insider in clothing that clearly separates your income level from your workforce, it shows that you aren’t nearly as involved in your factory’s day-to-day management as you should be if you’re truly a leader. Maybe the guy used to be more involved when he was younger, but his whole attitude in the interview rubbed me the wrong way.
I love the idea of disposable clay cups - but surely there could be a system for washing and recycling them several times. Kind of surprised the artisan doesn’t put out recycling bins - collect them, wash them, inspect them then resell them.
I do experimental archeology. I would love to try to replicate some of these practices and show them to my students!!! A few years ago I taught them how to make adobe bricks from scratch and we built horno on site. OMG its the best way to cook food slow and low!!!
Can you say obsolete. Thank goodness we have modern ways to get the same type of results in less time for everyone. We stopped living in caves for a reason. The unproductive ways sometimes are hard to stop. We need to love the past processes but move on to better ways of producing.

I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I'm especially grateful to Adviser Ruth Ann Tsakonas, for her expertise and exposure to different areas of the market.
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $200k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work.. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.
Without a doubt! Ruth Ann Tsakonas is a trader who goes above and beyond. she has an exceptional skill for analysing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. Her strategies are meticulously crafted on thorough research and years of practical experience..
how would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally.. What's your take on this approach? and How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking??

Good luck taking your view back

Rubber tyres & cow shit for the flames. Get me out of here 🪂 black salt is bullshit😂

Rubber tires and whatever else is being used for the flame? How does that smoke not touch the salt?
It doesn't, believe me 🤥

Lapis is traditional cake that you can find in many traditional markets in Indonesia.

Adaxum’s approach to integrating E-commerce and DeFi is interesting. Took a position in the presale.
Great content. Cell phone video 😢
Took a closer look at Adaxum and decided to take a small position in the presale.
The ADX tokenomics look reasonable, and the presale seems like a good entry point.
Joined the Adaxum presale early. Hoping it turns out to be a good long-term move.
The small black salt factory could provide the craftsmen with PPE. It would be worth the cost to save the trade.

Adaxum’s presale is selling out quickly. Might be worth a closer look for those interested.
Wtf is all this spam in the comments talking about crypto

ah yes, traditional burning bike tires.
Adaxum token is built for moments like these-alt runs drive adoption, and this project is primed to take off!
Hi everyone, Adaxum seems like a project with potential. I’m keeping an eye on it after joining the presale.
Happy with my decision to join the Adaxum presale. Let’s see how it performs in the long run.
The Adaxum project has some strong points. Took a position while the presale is still open.
no the tire rubber fire starter😷

Adaxum seems like a solid project, though I’m keeping my expectations in check.
Already participated in the Adaxum presale, and I’m feeling pretty good about the future of ADX. Time to get in while the price is still low!

ADX is worth a look if you’re exploring new projects this year.
I was skeptical at first, but the ADX tokenomics make so much sense. Adaxum token could be a game-changer for long-term investors.
Congrats to all early adopters, Adaxum token will crush this year
Keeping an eye on Adaxum. The project seems promising enough to have potential upside.

Got into the Adaxum presale early. Hoping this turns out to be a good investment.
Bicycle tyres and diesel. And they wonder why they get cancer and die aged in their 40s.
When Trump pumps the market, altcoins explode-and Adaxum has everything needed to lead the alt run once it launches.

It's always sad to see how poor people's oral health is so bad. Always seeing missing front teeth. The gap between rich and poor is striking.

If you’re not paying attention to Adaxum token during this alt run 2024/25, you’re missing out on one of the most exciting ICOs!
