To get into med school a 4 year bachelor degree is required. That’s already 8 years! After you get through med school, you are technically a doctor but you cannot practice independently. The next step is residency. This is on-the-job training for future physicians that takes 3-7 years to get through. After residency a physician can choose to practice medicine or enter a fellowship, which is essentially more training. So in total 11-15 years to become a doctor! Crazy huh?
The Road to Cosplay and Comic Con You don’t necessarily need a super high GPA. I know many classmates that got into medical school with a GPA lower than a 3.5! It’s the extracurriculars, trends, and grades that they look at. There is other ways to impress med schools. Teaching is a great job also! Teachers are what shape the next generation. The key to being a conman is understanding that you clearly don’t know as much as the person you’re immigrating, but you still need to know something.
