I remember few years back after my wife died, I was left alone with 3 kids. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got addicted to alcohol. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment changed my life for better. I can proudly say i'm totally clean for 6 years and still counting. Always look to nature for solution to tough problems, Shrooms are phenomenal.

I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them

My name is Connor, and I’m an addict, I dabbled into drugs at 12 years old, right out of 6th grade, started smoking cigs, then weed, and so on with constant partying, only wanting to get high. High school came around, and my cousin introduced me to snorting my own adhd meds, became hooked immediately, from snorting 300mg of adderall on the daily, to mixing Xanax, perkesets, methadone, hydros, etc. so many pills, just pills on pills. Along with drinking alcohol everyday, being drunk at school all day up until the last month of my senior year. I was taking my EOCT test and asked my teacher if I could use the restroom, when I was on my way back, the school resource officer asked me to step into the principals office, my bag along with my alcohol was found, luckily, 45 minutes before then my teacher searched my bag and found pills I had, she took them and let me go on about my day only to see me getting arrested not an even an hour later. They kicked me out, but gave me a week to study and take my exams, I passed. Then, summer came along, and I kept doing pills, stealing my parents alcohol, etc. 2 months into my summer, I found a bottle of hydros in my moms closet, I took 30 pills at once. I can’t even begin to understand why I didn’t die. I freaked out, called my cousin asking for insight on what I should do, he told me I should try to make myself throw up, I did, still think about today as to why I didn’t OD that day. I quit taking pills, and haven’t done them since. The next few years I was hanging out with the dumbest of people to be around. Got arrested 9 times during those next two years. The last time I was arrested I chugged an entire 2 liter of whiskey, only to wake up the next day in a padded cell, butt naked, with a turtle suit on. Not knowing anything that had happened that previous day. The court saw that I wasn’t getting better so I was given a choice to go to jail for a year or rehab, I went to rehab for 14 months at the Timothy House in Northern Georgia. Only to get back out and to start drinking and smoking, and doing lots of LSD, and other hallucinogenics. About 4 months go by, and I was offered meth and heroine. And I did it, 2 weeks go by, and I’ve been awake the whole time. I called my brother whose in college at the time, and I told him what I was doing, he stopped everything he was doing, came and got me, and I lived on his couch for 6 months. Now we’ve got a place. Things were going alright, I started smoking weed everyday, now Ik weed isn’t like considered to be that bad, but for me, It made me very depressed. So as of now, 10 days ago, I’ve decided to quit everything and enjoy my life sober.
Glad you are doing better. I think you made the right choice quitting weed also. It can be addictive for some of us also. You won't know unless you try to quit. The brain fog slowly fades away. We get high to fill the emptiness the drugs create. It's a vicious cycle. Good luck bro
Maybe you should do some drugs, it is stated a proven fact that good looking people turn ugly once they do drugs and ugly people like myself look way better than they were when they were sober.
Lol dude its all in the genes im a full blown heroin addict and look normal and girls say im handsome lol odk why but I feel ugly I guess because I know what I put in my body but my looks remained the same I even look younger than 33...
I've smoke weed for 20 years never been tempted to jack up skag or doing any other drug. I have a well paid job my own place and pay all my bills. Every person's different.
Everyone is different but most drug addicts started with weed. Its a fact. If weed was legal that would not be a a fact. The problem is many weed dealers also sell other drugs which provides some with their first access to other drugs. Its just reality!
Craig Popham I use edibles and I drink sometimes, but I have a great job, I'm enjoying my life... I'm not gonna lie I've thought about trying heroin but I've watched enough documentaries to know that it's not a good idea.
Opiates ruined my life from age 14-27! Ive been clean since 12-12-12! I won’t even glorify the amount my habit cost me a day but all I can say is if I can quit than anyone can quit. A heart attack, countless jails, rehabs, detox and one halfway house (6 month program that I stayed 8 months for) a few overdoses and 9 relapses later, I’m almost six years clean. If you want it bad enough you can have it. I’ll admit the first two years was pure hell, year three was hit or miss and by than I got my mental health looked at and since than things have been a lot better sobriety wise. Don’t wait so long to get your mental health evaluated because most of the times mental health and addiction go hand in hand and we tend to self medicate. If you are getting high and you’re reading this than you can do it. Don’t wait one more day because it could be too late. You got this, keep your head up and stay strong!
I was addicted to meth, coke and pills for 2 years. Every time I remember that high feeling, my body tingles up and I want to do it again but I’m not going to. I’m going to stay strong but it’s hard sometimes
Prosper Lattimer You can do it! Just have a strong mind set and tell yourself you can do it. It’s harder for some people but just stay strong and what I learned is to get away from those people that I did drugs with. They seem nice but in reality they are bringing your life down and they don’t care about you. I couldn’t let them have control so I cut them all off and my life started getting better
Whoever edited these clips together to play along with what he was saying, is a master. Not only a master of editing, but a master of body language. You, the editor, were very respectful, and you helped Connor convey his point. Thank you.
Yup, that's how it all starts. For me, my first experience with drugs was when I was 13. I walk in my friend's house and I'm like "what's up?" They're like "we're snorting weed", and I'm like "let me hit that". And here we are 28 years later, I'm still snorting pot. Don't snort pot, kids. And don't smoke percs.
i’ve got 11 days sober today after a 4 month long relapse. was clean for over two years before that. never went to treatment or anything, but i remember it being easier to quit last time. i’m only 22 and i’ve lost a collective ~3 years of my life to opiate addiction. i really hope this is the last time tht i’ll have to do this
I was a fent addict it was amazing at first. It literally ruined my life . I'm on methadone now. And it's still ruining my life . It's destroying my health and basically everything. I'm happy for you. Hearing your story is inspiring
I are in Polamidon (its how Methadon, but have not so heavy NWs how Methadon) since i was 18. From 100 Methadon addicts just 5% come out. Im yet 30. Now in Germany we can switch to Substitol, Morphin Base, with that you have an very shortly whitedrall. Next year i became that. This will Safe my Life. Methadon is not medikament, it makes 100000* so addicted how Heroin. My last methadone whitedrall was over at 12 months and i was whitedrall as fuck. This Stoff is "sry German "veraltet". Morphin is the way Out, Bit you must will IT. 10 day Morphin whitedrall its not how 12 months methadone whitedrall. Sry for my Bad english. Im from germany und high AS fuck.
What a brave man to tell his story. I've never been an addict, but I've seen it. He so intelligent and handsome. I wish him the best luck to stay sober, I know it's a life-long battle!
I took the 12 steps 20 years ago, sounds like the way that you did and to this day, my life has never been the same. I wish you well on your journey. So happy you found the happiness our fellowship offers.
I was addicted to fentanyl for years! I would always watch this video high (I don’t know why but I would) and today after 11 months of being sober and my thoughts were running crazy, this video popped out in my recommendations and I remembered! I remembered all the negative things it brought to my life. I live day to day and it’s a battle everyday
You can tell he's speaking from the heart. Getting over addiction at any age can really tear your whole life and family apart. The world is a nutty place man, props to him for coming out alive and well from it.
I was addicted to pills and heroin for 6 years and have a pretty crazy story myself. Ive been sober for eight months and never could have imagined i would be where im at today. I love hearing stories about success. Congrats to you and keep it up
Maybe that sounds weird but I like to listen to such stories . I apologize my English Skills. But I think language shouldn’t be a barrier for people. I am on the other side of the world and I am so shocked when I listen to the stories behind the additions . I am very interested in people’s stories. Sometimes I just need something like this Everyone who needs someone to talk just write (via WhatsApp) +491632157653 +49 is Germany’s Prefix
I got out of rehab one year ago after ending up in the ER with my family there after I collapsed in the kitchen. They thought I was dead. I feel for this guy. One day at a time - it’s not just the addiction - it’s the lifestyle. You have to build a new foundation.
He’s lucky he has a mom who firstly, was there for him/around. And secondly that she could hell him with ideas for where he needed to go. God bless them both. I hope he stays clean.
Randomly stumbled on this video as well! Quite interesting to hear the story of a former addict.. I think heroin is the the drug that is the real killer.. once you get it hooked on that.. it’s a real problem! By the way, the videos on the playlist on my channel might change someone’s life!
One of the challenges is that although your body may be detoxed after a certain period of time, it takes MUCH longer for your brain chemicals to return to normal levels and function. This is why it feels like "withdrawal" never ends even after a detox period, and is what triggers relapses.
I’m not an addict yet I find myself binge watching these videos bc I know what it feels like to make decisions you regret and fear people will judge you for. These remind me that the past is just that, the past. We are capable and worthy of redemption
You can do it. I've been off heroine and pills for five years. I PROMISE you, life can be different, life can be good. You don't ever have yo go throuhh this again .. let me believe in you, until you believe in yourself.
Lost my cousin to heroin. Hearing stories like these are truly inspiring and amazing and I loved this story. Also this video was filmed at the park by my house lol

Did heroin for 4 years 5 overdoses every time saved by narcan then one day I j gave it up while I was getting high I said this will be the last time and it’s been 3 half years no cravings I was j done and tired and I knew I was finished
@@OptionalWinner and you do know playing sports and being addicted to it is a drug. SMH. There's a difference between things that benefit you and things that are damaging you internally/mentally. If anything that you do that is damaging you internally and or mentally than that is when you need help.
My son shot 20 bags a day. sober almost 4 years. I've been sober for a long time. I'm 60. not a day goes by that either of us wants to get high. difference is, we want to stay sober more. it is torture, yes. but with god and the power of the human mind, anything can be defeated. its simply what do you want more.
Apart from your want to stay sober, what was it initially that helped you the most. Can you think back to what made you last that extra hour to that extra day?
Congrats on getting your life back!! I too was addicted to pills, then it moved on to heroin. I finally had enough of that disgusting lifestyle and decided to get my life back. It's a struggle, but life is so much better without worrying about being high, or how to get high that day. I wish anyone the best if they are currently battling this demon. It is possible to change and make the change that can improve your life forever.
Very inspiring. I’ve been clean for 4 months (yesterday was my “anniversary”) & drugs were my life. They’re still on my mind a lot & it’s very hard to build a new sober life, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. My past use has made me a stronger person.
Oh my days...he is a stunning looking lad with his whole life ahead of him..im so pleased his mum never gave up on him..all it takes is love from the parent and hard work from the addict to help them see the light at the end of the long dark tunnel.... Go on lad u got this💪🏻 FOREVER ❤️🕯🙏
It's like listening to someone else describe your own life-experiences, uncanny and motivational, for those of us who understand the subject matter and have transcended their own addictions. Blessed-
Thank you for sharing your story. I feel like I have been going through this with my sister who is an addict for the past 5 years. As hopeless as I feel, I will continue to do my best to support her correctly and get through this together.
stevan aldape yeah foreal, works better for cigarettes and alcohol, but it might work for opiates, cos the opiates counteract the psychedelic Effects, But you could trip so hard you dont even wana do anything again, long as you go in lnowing for sure you wana stop, but other than that more for mental addiction and maybe physical
Josh Rubio pyschs def put you in a different mind state. And make withdrawal easier. I did ketamine for a week, didn’t use heroin, didn’t withdrawal, no cravings. Psychedelics have amazing qualities.

You’re story is what I see in my friends. I’ve tried multiple times to help but they don’t want it. They are getting worse and I don’t want to have to say I gave up on them. But I am ready to get a call about funerals.
Don't ever give up bro I'm a heroin addict of 15 yrs and still struggling at this time . Maybe one day I will get there but at this time the days still pass by of being and feeling like a failure
Good for you, Conner. I was heavily addicted to Xanax, ambien and controlled pain meds. I decided to go cold turkey and it was one of the worst feelings ever!!! It took me a good 2-4 months to actually feel “normal” and I swear I will never go down that road ever again! High 5 sobriety!!!!✋🏻
Comforting to get that connection. That’s what we look for. 12 step is amazing bc it gives you a sense of purpose. What it leaves out is the impact of trauma and how addiction is tied into trauma.

I've smoke weed for 20 years never been tempted to jack up skag or doing any other drug. I have a well paid job my own place and pay all my bills. Every person's different.
Joker Majesticz weed is not a gateway drug. Retarded religion is spoonfeeding is this. No research supports this.
I am a succesful 7 figure business owner and i smoke almost every day. Weed is not the reason you fail in life, it's yout attitude!!!

Prosper Lattimer You can do it! Just have a strong mind set and tell yourself you can do it. It’s harder for some people but just stay strong and what I learned is to get away from those people that I did drugs with. "were smoking percs" oh ok.... lemme hit dat .. thats how it all starts

I was addicted to fentanyl for years! I would always watch this video high (I don’t know why but I would) and today after 11 months of being sober and my thoughts were running crazy, this video popped out in my recommendations and I remembered! I was addicted to pills and heroin for 6 years and have a pretty crazy story myself. Ive been sober for eight months and never could have imagined i would be where im at today. I love hearing stories about success. Congrats to you and keep it up
Hi
Maybe that sounds weird but I like to listen to such stories . I apologize my English Skills. But I think language shouldn’t be a barrier for people. I am on the other side of the world and I am so shocked when I listen to the stories behind the additions . I am very interested in people’s stories. To have contact to people from other parts of the world can often change your way of thinking . Sometimes I just need something like this

How are you doing now? Your comment is exactly where im at today. Used for 6 years and 8 months sober tomorrow.
I got out of rehab one year ago after ending up in the ER with my family there after I collapsed in the kitchen. They thought I was dead. I feel for this guy. One day at a time - it’s not just the addiction - it’s the lifestyle. You have to build a new foundation.
Your story, Connor is SO good! I'm 5 years sober and it's the best ever! Stay the course. I'm proud of you!!
He’s lucky he has a mom who firstly, was there for him/around. And secondly that she could hell him with ideas for where he needed to go. God bless them both. I hope he stays clean.
I can relate
I randomly stumbled onto this video and I don’t think it was by accident. I really needed to hear that. Your story was amazing as well as eye opening
Somebody finally put it into words
Doesn’t have to be yet it can be never
Keep on trying. Sky is your limit :D

@@OptionalWinner and you do know playing sports and being addicted to it is a drug. SMH.
There's a difference between things that benefit you and things that are damaging you internally/mentally. If anything that you do that is damaging you internally and or mentally than that is when you need help.
J.R Junior I realize that
My son shot 20 bags a day. sober almost 4 years. I've been sober for a long time. I'm 60. not a day goes by that either of us wants to get high. difference is, we want to stay sober more. it is torture, yes. but with god and the power of the human mind, anything can be defeated. its simply what do you want more.
