Announcer says goalie doesn't have the angle covered...
Dunno 'bout that - looks to me like he shot the puck over the goalie's shoulder, rather than past him to the outside. Either way though - great shot.

They don’t wanna win and play Edmonton by the looks on kempe’s face hahah 😅 but was like yeah let’s just be happy we got the win.

They were already playing Edmonton by virtue of owning the tiebreaker.
Plus he always looks like that, I was surprised he smiled afterwards because he seems to really try not to after scoring, lol

Bro I was SURE that, with 1:30 to go, they'd lose and play Vancouver. Instead, they decide its time to be eliminated by the Oilers for the third straight year. This is wild

wouldn’t it have been dallas? not vancouver. i’d MUCH rather play against edmonton than dallas tbh

@@boyboynova because of the division bracket of recent years, it would be Vancouver, as far as I know, because they're both in the Pacific

@@crazyking0429 No, because Vancouver is the second seed in the conference, and LA could only finish as the second wildcard or 3rd in the division.
Conference winner plays the 8th seed team.
The remaining division winner plays the 7th seed.
2nd and 3rd in each division play each other.
So if the Kings lost in regulation, they would've played Dallas as the 8th seed. Instead, they got a point (and ended up winning.), which clinched them as the 3rd seed in the division. Matching them up against Edmonton. The better option for them if you ask me.

We needed Blues to win against Dallas last night in Regulation to even have a chance at Canucks so no.

Odd comment to say would rather do it in regulation on the one night it didn't matter if you won in regulation or overtime

He’s talking about bringing momentum/positivity into the playoffs, winning in regulation feels better than having to go to OT against one of the worst teams in the league.
