It's so disappointing to see the Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG) spend so little on the opening compared to 2016 back at Northlands. It's like having Tony Brar "tell" fans how to cheer, like DOH (and as someone posted, very cringe-worthy). Given how much money fans pay to get seats, you'd think they could do a much better job than something this static. Like the fans have to do *more* work to get into the game?
Like others I really miss the Black Eyed Peas, Pump It! That one really got the crowd going and it should be the Oilers permanent signature theme like Vancouver has U2's Streets Have No Name.

I do think it seems a bit more tame on video rather than in person - no matter what, Oilers fans are going to be absolutely crazy pre-game.
I didn’t love the choice of Party Hard as the song for the video (especially since its the Penguins goal song) & considering Burn it to the Ground last year was way better.
A call back to 06 with Pump It would have been awesome though. Maybe they have something going for Game 6! Unfortunately I won’t be there to find out 😂😩
