Saw him in person at a Harlem Globe Trotters game in Los Angeles in the early 60s or late 50s? I was a kid. I’m 75 now what a thrill! I didn’t know who he was but saw him in Blues Brothers movie. My stepdad tried to tell me who he was but found out later. What a game that was with Meadowlark Lemon on the Globetrotters and high energy Cab Calloway!

Even little children, if their parents enlighten them as my mother did her children. This was my sisters favorite by Cab Galloway.
