Of all the states in the lower 48 Oregon would be the hardest for me to cram in a trip of the best of in 2 weeks. Really love the state parks, rivers and scenic byways. I look forward to returning! The Three Capes area is one of my favorite spots.
I've lived in Oregon all my life. I recommend Newport over the other places on the coast they mentioned, or if you like a casino then do Lincoln City just down the way from Newport - you could easily do both in one day. And side note, it is not dark and gloomy in the summer, it is bright and beautiful and rains very rarely. I mid July is the best most ideal weather we get personally - but if you like it hot late July and August are great. If you are a beer drinker you must come see us in Eugene! Can't beat the craft beer scene we have going on here! Also all along the Mckenzie River area just outside Eugene is STUNNING!!! Waterfalls, lakes, hikes, hot springs, everything Oregon has to offer - you'd be missing out of you didn't visit.

She remembered us too and that was nice.
I saw her once in Beaverton.
Wow! What an awesome video I would love to go travelling now. Oregon never fail to impress me because it’s an incredibly beautiful state with breathtaking scenery. I would love to see from places to places in Oregon especially the northern and the western part of the state where there are mountain rock climbing, camping, hiking, skiing and fun activities you can do to pass the time. I also would recommend visiting Portland where there are parts of the city that is worth seeing.
11:34. When I was like in 4th grade . We took a class trip . They let us explore up in that light house . Born and raised in Florence Oregon:)
You show the Pioneer Building in Pioneer Square in Seattle, Washington when talking about Portland, Oregon.
A lovely and beautiful place - Oregon
I live in bend take a guided rafting trip down the snake river it’s brethtaking!! Though i think it’s better if you know someone or have a raft it’s a blast
What a beautiful state, I love the rugged shoreline ❤️. What I wouldn’t give to spend the fall out there.
In Astoria they didn’t talk about the goonies house
The goonies house does not want visits now.
They tore down the treehouse in Brownsville from the movie, “ Stand By Me “ also.
I got to go look at it up close, like 15 years ago. Now they don't let you walk up the hill I'm told. I just hope somebody buys it someday, that will let people take tours. They'd make some good money.
Because the lady who bought it will literally pull a gun on you if you try to look at the house. 🙅🏼♀️
Oregon is very beautiful
They should have mentioned reedsport for their bigfoot donuts and chainsaw catching event in the summer. Reedsport is such a great small town just by Winchester bay to walk on a nice beach and go crabbing. Im from myrtle Creek though.
Thank you for sending these videos, beautiful, I lived 8 miles from Oregon in California, saw a lot of Oregon beautiful place to visit 🥰
I've always wanted to live in Oregon. I grew up in San Diego California but Oregon is just beautiful. We ended up in Texas but it's still my dream to move to Oregon
As an Oregonian, another awesome place I loved to be at was the Wings And Waves Waterpark. I've been there a couple of times and I have had a blast all three times.
Don't forget the 20 Miracles Miles, just north of Florence, where the coast highway hugs the cliff faces; and the Sea Lion Caves, the only year round haul out for these big animals.
florence is scary
@@makennawhetstone4467 why is it scary? I like Florence just wondering.
Makenna Whetstone why: what happened in Florence ?
Bandon resident for 4 years, bets place ever!
South coast is the best!
Wow, as an Oregonian, these are not all in the top 10 for me. I'm shocked Silver Falls is not in here!
The Painted Hills rarely get mentioned. And Cannon Beach is just a tourist trap.
My favorite state, up there with Wyoming, Montana, Maine and New Mexico. Colorado, New Hampshire, VT and California get high marks as well. Of all the states in the lower 48 Oregon would be the hardest for me to cram in a trip of the best of in 2 weeks. Really love the state parks, rivers and scenic byways. I look forward to returning! The Three Capes area is one of my favorite spots.
I live in oregon and I love here here is heaven 😘🥰😍💐☘️🌹🌷🌺🙏💃🥀
Mozhgan Swan same here.
You sure can learn something new every single day, touropia proves the point. Thank you.
Dont forget wallowa lake by Joseph
Some beautiful bronze art in Joseph. Baker City and Pendleton have some great little shops downtown too.
dont tell them the good places, thats what turns them to hell holes
Stop don't tell people about that it's already getting to crowded
Oregon is my bucket list trip. So beautiful!
It rains a lot, even in the summer, so imagine the clips in this video dark and gloomy.
Felicia T good call. Spare that poor child the misery. Misery loves company usually. You’re so compassionate.
Go to heppner Oregon
Please mention on the video to be respectful and organized we like to keep the Oregon the way it was....peaceful clean and respectful on the road the way it was!!
Bro we respect Oregon. you guys on the other hand...
Daniel Garcia 😵😴😵 I’m not your bro!
Lowboy XL... Respect....
Did you just pull that statement out of your ass or out of somebody else's ass?
@@kwlowboy7838 really that's the take away from my comment? Jesus no wonder Oregon is the way it is
Norman Clature 😵 here we go.....have to explain myself with apple and 🍐
Oregon used to be nice and quiet but some many people coming here from other States. They don’t have same education on the roads.
This is definitely a great list. I live in Portland. I've been to Crater lake, Mount Hood, Forest Park just outside Portland, the gorge, Astoria and Cannon Beach. Probably Cannon Beach is my favorite place but all are beautiful. I have a picture of me standing on the wall at the Vista house in the gorge between 6 and 7 in the morning as the sun is literally rising out of the gorge and illuminates everything behind me with my silhouette in front. Beautiful picture.
In fact I'll make it my picture
#1 Arcadia Bay
I love my home state. And as much as I love the places in this video ... I mean: at 8:30, that’s Seattle. And the 10 places are maybe a bit safe. Oregon has way more amazing places that are off the beaten path. But we’ll keep all of those to ourselves ;)
I live in Oregon.. been to 7 of the 10 locations now to see the others
Well done on this video. Beautiful scenery. 🤗
Everything but Portland. U guys forgot silver falls and tulip fest and the Oregon gardens
Alberto Palacios I can’t believe they forgot Silver Falls! That’s one of the first things I tell people to go see. And I love how they say climbing to the top of mt Hood is a popular activity. Hahahha. And they said the cascade lakes highway ends at the Sunriver Resort. Oh geez, this video needs some help!
@@HikeOregon I'm glad they didn't. Already too many tourists. Can't even visit the places I use to 15 years ago with so many people who've moved here for the quirky vibe that's now gone.
