I drove up 100 miles of the coast one foggy morning, stopped to snap a few pictures (with a 35 mm camera) and was shocked when I looked up at the hills east of me...and found 30 sheep eyeing me with GREAT disdain for invading their space❗😎
I live in Portland and Oregon has some of the best hiking and scenery I've ever enjoyed ... in every direction from east to Mt. Hood and west to the coast, the hiking and beauty is really staggering.
The Oregon Coast is an absolute treasure! The video showcases the beauty, but experiencing it in person is a whole different level of awe. 🌊 The rugged shorelines and lush forests make every mile worth it. Planning my trip there soon, and this video just heightened my excitement! 🚗💨Oregon, here I come! 😍🌲
How come it’s not windy and cool looking like every time I’ve been there? Absolutely stunning scenery...but surprising cold and windy along the coast. I’d still go back!!
Wow expedia, to bad you stopped at Bandon By The Sea and missed the last 90 miles because you missed Indian Sands Geological Zone, Lone Ranch State Park one of the best whale watching areas on the West Coast, The WW2 Japanese bombing site where the only Japanese Airplane bombing on the continental USA ever happened, The town of Brookings Harbor where the 2011 Japanese Tsunami made the second direct hit and destroyed the towns fishing fleet, Battle Rock where one of the last Indian Wars was fought on the west coast at Port Orford, The Rouge River where adventure writer Zane Gray wrote many of his books, his cabin is still there, there is much more. My wife and I travel there all the time for whale watching and wildlife photography it is incredible.
One of my favorite trips I've ever taken, especially with thor's well and the surrounding area. Awesome places! Highly recommend, like this good video does!
On the Oregon coast ,Oswald West Park,Cape Kiwanda and the Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor are extremely beautiful, with the Samuel Boardman Corridor being the greatest.
One of America's most beautiful states for sure. And the coast is just one aspect of this spectacular state. Have visited many times from BC. Want to go to the extreme SE "empty corner" on one of my next trips.
When you do make sure not to miss The Columbia Scenic Gorge that borders Oregon and Washington State. Also, make sure to continue your journey down The Pacific Coast Highway through the entirety of California. I live at The Monterey Bay in Central Cali, near Big Sur. You’ll love the trip!
I absolutely love the Oregon coast. I went there with my family in 2020. We stayed at an Airbnb in Rockaway Beach. We visited Seaside, Cannon Beach, Garibaldi, and Manzanita. In the near future, I plan to visit Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and other coastal cities/towns that I haven’t visited yet.
I was there as a tourist. Oregoen has such an amazing atmosphere, so mayestic and mysterious. Espescially along the river george. You are blessed to live there.
@@Andy-vt7sl Nooo, my clever trickery foiled... I suppose we shall have to look out for this mystery spot this summer as we travel the length of 101 through Oregon.
@@Andy-vt7sl For sure, part of travel is chatting with the folks along the way, and we shall have some flexibility for that leg of the trip. Also, we have a ton of stops scheduled already that are magnificent so any additional discovered along the way are bonus points.
Always amazed to see such videos. Loved the coast and very informative history. We will definitely travel here in future and capture our moments there in our travel vlogs. Thanks a lot for this. Such a wonderful place 😍😍
I agree.Ño mention of Humbug Mountain State Park,Cape Sebastian or the fabulous Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor. And other places between Goldbeach and Brookings.
Yes yes yes.. I want that... Oregon coast. British columbia, Big sur coast, Route 66... Delaware dazzling... Kind of ... More more about...USA in parts... Make sure about 15 mminites above videos... I saw all expedia video around world... I want more about montana, minnesota, Connencticut.. Small towns, agri fields, festivals...
I'm thrilled someone finally made a decent video on the Oregon Coast, but there are places that are FAR more interesting and beautiful then the ones THEY showed.
The Pacific Northwest is really a unique place within the US. The climate and greenery give it a fairytale atmosphere.

Try a trip in September. Sometimes the currents are warm enough for swimming then, too.
They waited for the one sunny day all year to make the video.

Beautiful area of Oregon.
Kinda pleasantly surprised they're still uploading through the pandemic
im happy you doing more north america..
I have been to Oregon coast countless time, and I hope to live there one day.
According to the Bandon city government 49% of the houses in Bandon are empty for half the year. No wonder why I can't find housing there.
Beautiful nature and amazing costs , as a matter of fact this is one of the best episodes i've watched on this channel
love it, the experience on #101 in 2018, unbelievable amazing.

By FAR the greatest coastline in the USA and I live in California

Unreal beauty. The last time I went to Canon beach, I was 9 years old. I live in Texas now but want to go back and see it someday.

Might be good thing to keep them secret for now 😉
Dinosaur fossil beds in Eastern Oregon.
Traveled there about a month before this video was posted. Absolutely amazing experience.
Lovely 🌳
Welcome to the coast, the people coast, nothing is for people, it is nature you have to respect it.
A beauty!!
Amazing!
Going from Manitoba Canada all the way to here this July
I've been gone to beaches in Oregon coast. I was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington. I live in Vancouver.
It's funny that every video clip shows a sunny day in Oregon. Must have taken them years to compile this video.
So I guess it must be gloomy on that side of the country? I've only been to California so I cant wait to go back to the West coast!
Spent a week on the coast several years ago beautiful every day in July.
Nice one Expedia!
so beautiful👍
3 hours from Seattle? Maybe... to Astoria. But the hours add on fast if you want to get to Newport or Coos Bay.
Add at least 20 minutes to that to get to Astoria.
Amazing places and a beautiful video!
Astonishing photography. Well done, Expedia! Hope to see you soon back in Oregon.
Great video! Looks like it's always sunny there.
Only in summer
I sure enjoyed growing up in Lincoln...
Amazing . . .
