Had an amazing week there, we heard "Welcome to Jordan" tens of times. Amazing scenery, amazing people, amazing food. The country is so safe, never felt threatened by anything, people were coming up to us asking how can they help us. The 2 days we spent in Petra and 2 days in Wadi Rum are definitely something I would never forget .
Proud that am Jordanian. This only 40% of what my country can tell you about history of mankind and religions and old civilizations .it's all in one place called JORDAN The land of history..
I have a jordanian friend out here in the uk, he’s currently in jordan for ramadan and has invited me to go with him next year and after watching this i cant wait!
The music give me goosebumps, the narrator's voice make me think I was transported in the ancient middle eastern world, and the video make me feel I'm walking through time...❤amazing
Thanks very much for your lovely comment Laarni Deloria! Our photographer loved his time in Jordan and said he too felt like he was walking through history. So glad you enjoyed the video!!
one of the things that i love about Expedia is that the narration is always done by someone from the country which is being featured... it gives the video the feeling of authenticity...
Not really. I assure you this narrator is NOT Jordanian.. he misspelled many famous cities & historic sights and that’s not possible for us Jordanians especially that it’s in our country.. he sound more like Greek to me though 🤔 definitely not an Arab either.
I lived in Jordan for over a year. This video barely scratched the surface of what is there to be seen. Definitely going to return for more adventures there, as soon as possible.
Proud visitor in 2019 and we were blown away by the history, the scenery, and even the aromas, food and people. Wonderful place, though I wouldn't stay longer than a week, I got homesick after a while.
wowww... the best expedia video so far... i cant wait to visit Jordan!! The narration along with the music just transported me back in time...im never forgetting this extraordinary video!
Its an exceptional country , its sooo beautiful, amazing hospitality and food, I visited Jordan many years ago but I didn't see many cities so defiantly I will comeback , LOVE IT
@@shalevedna Oh thanks. There is a package tour from Mumbai India to both Israel and Jordan, two countries combined. After the Coronavirus thing is over, I might go there. Thanks for the information.
Thanks very much for your nice comment! Jordan is a truly amazing country, and our photographer said this was one of his favorite assignments. He can't wait to go back! We are glad you like our videos as much as we love making them :)
Most people don't know but Jordan is one of the West's best allies. They are far more open than people think. The people are among the most honorable in the world.
I was speaking to a young man from Jordan just today. I thought I’d look it up, I’m astonished at such beauty. I’m disabled so I’m never going to be able to visit, which now makes me so terribly sad.
Does anyone have experience with traveling in Jordan during Ramadan? Are there enough restaurants open during the day? Are the tourist attractions just open?
Tourist restaurants are open but they are very few, no alcohol will be served except in Hotels and resorts, in my opinion you will not enjoy it during the day, but the nights are amazing, the streets and restaurants will be crowded with people from 8pm to 4am. regarding eating or drinking water during the day, you shouldn't do it in plain public or in the streets, but for children it's okay children can drink or eat any where. try staying for the Eid which is 3 days right after the last day of Ramadan, you will find happiness all around people will offer you sweets and Arabian coffee in the streets, children will be running around showing off their toys and new clothes, you will enjoy it.
I've just come back from a week in Jordan - outside of Ramadan. I was getting through a large bottle of soda - sometimes two - every day, when doing my tourist stuff. For that reason alone, I would advise against visiting during Ramadan, when such drinking would be offensive to the locals.

Our Jordan Travel Vacation Travel guide has been over 200,000 years in the making, but the wait has been worth it!
Why Expedia does not make the video of mainland Chinese cities?among the world's alpha cities , only mainland Chinese cities are missed .
Great cinematic! It was worth the wait.
pls make one for Sri Lanka, China and India
Please make a video of Komodo Islands or Raja Ampat. It's trully wonderful places.
