Actually it makes perfect sense when Reznov said it. Steiner was a Nazi, which Reznov hated more than anything else, and the one who originally created Nova 6. Dragovitch and Kravchenko betrayed Reznov and used it to kill his best friend Dimitri Pachenko, then they brought Steiner on board as a new ally and left Reznov to rot in the gulag the rest of his life. In Reznov's eyes that was an unforgivable crime against all of Russia. Reznov sabotaged Mason's brainwashing and programmed him to kill all three of them, so basically Reznov did end up getting his revenge through Mason.

I can see where you're coming from but I think MW1 had the best campaign. BO1, for a game called "Black Ops," didn't have as much stealth and espionage as the title would imply. Still a great game all-around but I'm just a little bit disappointed with that.
It was great because it mixed modern day with future stuff even in bo2. But then they overdid it with the futuristic stuff.
13 years later, all four DLC's are still full price. I learned this the hard way when I drunkenly bought BO1 on Steam for $40 and expected it to come with all of the DLC...it didn't.
I like BO1 Zombies but BO3 Steam is probably the best Zombies to play since all the BO1 maps are in BO3 (ZC, COTD Remaster from the Steam workshop, and the upcoming FIVE remaster)
Without a doubt my favourite Call of Duty game, so many great memories with friends and so many elite dlc maps for both multiplayer & zombies, and on top of all that a fantastic and memorable campaign story
I used to be a cod fan like you, then I took a supply drop to the knee
So you tripped on a supply drop?
so you married a supply drop?... that's enough internet for the day..
What
A beautiful blast from the past❤️
i hate you but i respect you...
THIS COMMENT JUST MADE MY DAY!! XD
If they remastered this I’d be happy for the next decade
Bollocks
@@-pressxtostart- Why not? It’d be great to be able to play the game on the newer consoles
Without a battle pass or microtransics tho
That would be cool but I don't think we are gonna get one anytime soon
There is one.....
That ending scene with this music...... OMFG such an amazing way to end a perfect Rewiev about a perfect game.
You did good son.
Kino and ascension are easily some of the best zombie maps of all time. I know nobody mentions ascension in the pantheon of zombies maps over the years, but if you get a couple buddies, especially in person for couch Co-op, or even a system link, it's easily one of the most fun maps to play on. Training is so much fun there, the lunar landers or whatever those flying elevators are called, are also so much fun. Especially when you and your buddies are running for the lander, and your waiting for it to be activated and u gotta hold out and hope you don't get overrun and then when it launches and it annihilates any and all zombies on or near the lander and you launch just in time before you and or your buddies go down oh my God is it fun. The thundergun and Zeus cannon (I think that's what the upgraded thundergun is called? Can't recall it's been a while) as well as the Russian nesting dolls, the Gersch device/black hole grenades are especially cool as fuck , of course PhD Lebron... whoops I mean PhD flopper has a bunch of use on ascension, and I know it sorta got abandoned after blops 1 and reappeared a few times in some other blops but very rarely and I think that's a travesty because those are so much fun and are really helpful. Not to mention the bad ass sickle, that launching middle that u can launch and blow up with the ray gun, those SUPER FUCKING ANNOYING monkey perk thief rounds, and are probably the worst part of ascension and honestly blops 1 zombies in general. I could go on but you get the point. Ascension is CRIMINALLY underrated.
We need a zombies map with alex mason, viktor reznov, hudson, and frank woods.
Would ruin the zombies lore and all the super fanboys would get mad
@@loveshack6880 it could be in an alternate universe, like five was, so it doesn't interfere with the main storyline

I never used to play bo1. But then I got it on sale yesterday and I have to say IT IS SO GOOD. I wished I played this in their it’s prime. I mean the hit markers r just so satisfying
any one who played b ops 1 in its hayday will tell you some of the best video game experiences ever. a perfect game
The midnight release for this game was crazy. My buddy and I waited hours and the line got crazy long, like a quarter of the town we lived in felt like it was there to buy black ops. Great memories!
We didn’t realize how good we had it back then bois...
I did?
I know 😭😭 i miss it so much
Retrospective does that. I used to crap on this in hs but then I played it..
Your right
I did after ghost came out I was done
you forgot to mention the soundtrack that is just incredible.
Vinicius Praxedes
He mentioned it.
Love to always come back to ur cod series every once in a while
The coolest scène I forgot was you killing dragovic and you screamed at him : "You tried to make me kill my own president" and dragovic said: "tried?" and it then cuts to the day of the jfk parade where Kennedy got out of the plane and there in the crowd stands Mason. Oh you talk about it in the video as well
the multiplayer menu theme is so nostalgic. i really wish i was back in that time. i didn’t worry about money, bills, work, or anything. waking up on a saturday morning and loading up that menu to play with my sister is something i miss dearly .
erik same my best memories were playing bo1 and bo2 every now and then I go back to play them. I still play call of duty but it will never be the same Wish I could be back
The game is still active. 10k players online most weekends on Xbox. :)

Jesus Christ loves you, God bless and forgive you
@@ellk1991damn, when black ops 1 came out it had more than 100 000 players online daily on ps3, more than 200 000 on the xbox. Call of duty really hit it low
The best Call of Duty and one of the best games of all time.
THE best game of all time for me

@Isaiah Martinez That's your opinion we love bo1
So nostalgic. Act man does a great job capturing everything with these games and moments in history
Act Man, I really love your videos. Best of luck with Quantum man I wish you the best.
The campaign of this game makes me have so much more of a range of emotions than any other Call Of Duty campaign. It's tense, horrifying, cathartic, and kick-ass, all in one package. A classic.
the mindfuck abt JFK was foreshadowed in the mission revelations where mason walks through the pentagon and finds out about the numbers, after the scene with kravchenko, Dragovich, and steiner in vorkuta, the numbers start appearing again and mason says "Proceed...to...Target" "Oswald Compromised" this probably means that the assassination is in his memory somewhere
He killed JFK it is confirmed by the end game picture, where Mason it's near JFK, and also because Dragovich confirmed it
How low your standards must be to call that a mindfuck...
@@ttiago57 No, Oswald killed JFK. Mason was in on it. He was the second gun man that never got caught.
@@unstoppable4rce no, he indeed killed JFK 🤦♂️🤦♂️, in the last mission Mason said to Dragovich "You tried make me kill my own president", which he replies "Tried?" (The last mission was in February 26 1968, 5 years after the death of JFK) Mason killed JFK, the soviets programmed him to kill him, in the Pentagon mission you can see when you meet JFK, a slow moment when all the time slows, and in the background TV's videos of the assasination of JFK, and seconds after that Mason having an hallucination were he points out a 1911 to JFK, Pentagon mission takes place in 10 of November 1963, 12 days before JFK was assasinated, the last mission before 22 of November is Executive Order (17th of November) where they go to the soviet cosmodrome, and at the end credits you can see footage of JFK on Texas, and Mason saying all the details, 11/22, Texas, 6.5 mm, he killed him
@@ttiago57 The JFK assassination was a team effort, do your research it was Lee Oswald that killed JFK, Mason even says in the pentagon "OSWALD COMPROMISED" Mason may have been in on it and helped with the assassination but he didn't pull the trigger.
I loved the menu music, leveling up and challenges sound affects on this game, 100% one of the best cods, especially if you was good at it
"Activition, Microsoft, I don't know who's fucking up." Hah! If only back then you'd known what would happen...
