La Armería He actually consulted on the game if I’m not mistaken. That’s why all these niche guns are in the game. Plus, the youtube channel The Great War wrote all the codex entries!
The BF1 trailer literally sent me to the hospital, cause you’re supposed to seek immediate medical attention if your erection lasts longer than 4 hours.
I remember playing Gallipoli as Ottomans and desperately defending the final objective for 10+ minutes straight. Squads and Squad leaders were literally shouting orders over voice chat while entire swathes of brits were being gunned down by that one dude in the static MG. It was one of the best MP games I ever played.
I had so many memorable moments myself. I remember the last sector of the Alp map where the defensive team have that crazy strong base at the end. It was nuts because we were on the ground trying to push through the main wall of that base, but had constant machine gun fire around us with fighter biplanes overhead, but this tank came out of nowhere from our team and started to suppress the fire for us to jump the wall and take the main courtyard. We ran past him and his team for the building and the underground tunnels just to see the tank get blasted to pieces by the biplane's bombs. Just a crazy scenario to see and I have so many other moments like that such as storming the beaches, pushing with four other squads through the trenches of the green hilly map, or ambushing enemies in the forest map.
I was the medic class and I had to revive a lot of people including squad mates whiles being theres gunfire and grenades being tossed at me and still remember that
As an Australian I found it really awesome to see Gallipoli represented from Australian perspectives. So often we see English, American, Russian etc in video games, but rarely Aussies, especially something as important to us as the Gallipoli campaign. It means a lot to us.
Australians have proven to be some of the world's best soldiers time and time again. Having worked with them on a few occasions they really are made of something else entirely.
Magpies these fuckers are worster then... well what bird kamikazees into you with on thing in there mind *"FUCKER NEAR MY NEST FUCK YOU"* oh yeah fucking 2 magpies one kamikazees you the other goes for you eyeballs 🖕😐
Battlefield 1 came out when I was in middle school. I’m a Sophomore in college and I still play all the time. Really goes to show how good of a game it is.
I like to imagine that the italian mission is so ridiculous because of how its a story the main character’s telling his daughter. That’s why every time she gets scared he tells her about his impenetrable armor
It was actually slightly accurate. The Italians did attempt to have soldiers covered in thick metal to then charge and gain ground. While the overall design was different (I’ve never seen images like the one portrayed in the game) there are real photos of soldiers having armor in WW1.
"He never got older, And here I am still. Who decides such things?" was such a powerful quote, probably in its truth. Everybody suffers in war. Regardless of the side.
I think it speaks to the gradual lowering of IQ points with each generation that such a sophomoric understanding of history or war passes for meaningful nuance.
@@UnchainedEruption i think you should shut the fuck up and be thankful that we have a lesser understanding of the horrors of war nowadays. Pulling some big words out of your ass to look smart or whatever. Toddler's behavior
@@UnchainedEruption With such a detestable attitude such as yours, no wonder the world is nowhere near as understanding and accepting as it used to be. You assume that because I find meaning in a simple line that I'm incapable of grasping the complex nature of some of the most gruesome and bloody wars we have ever had the misfortune of experiencing? I studied these conflicts and their after-effects at A-Level. So don't insult me. You have no right to hold me in such contempt. Absolutely no right at all.
"Would you have preferred if Dice made a game where everyone sits in their trenches with a shotgun and you're constantly pummeled with mustard gas and artillery, there's no man's land and if you go out there you're dead?" *Laughs in Verdun*
in the war stories, i didn't need a bunch of time to grow with the characters. i was able to tell the devastation, the hurt, the anguish, just by the atmosphere and character portrayal. the war stories show the brutality and unforgiving nature of war, such as the desperate hope of the tank captain in Through Mud and Blood as he blows the lines of Bess, or the anger of Clyde Blackburn as he struggles with indecision in No Mans Land. i found myself almost tearing up in The Runner when Bishop meets his end. hes happy to pass the torch, accepting of his successor and his fate. he knows its the end, yet he still smiles in the face of certain death because he knows he did what he could. battlefield one had, what is in my opinion, the best take of singleplayer campaign in any battlefield game. not because of gameplay or story, but because of the themes, the emotions, the characters, the quotes, and so much more. not to mention one of the greatest opening scenes in gaming history. i know this is a wall of text, but i mean it when i say that battlefield one is that game that you can go back and say, "yeah, i remember that. i played that."
Battlefield 1 was the internet’s prayer. We were fed up with COD being futuristic, especially with Infinite Warfare releasing that same year. Part of the reason BF1 did do well tho was how badly IW did
Doi Doi That was the reason I got BF1. I had bf3 and 4 but didn’t exactly play them a lot. After waiting forever for a good cod game I decided fuck it I’m buying battlefield. BF1 is one of if not my favourite game of all time. But this goes both ways as I assume a lot of battlefield players like me have switched to cod because of the disaster of BF5.
Jerome Schlinger i haven’t experienced as much camping in ground war, at least not anymore. I don’t play any cod traditional modes because as you said it is most definitely a camp fest.
Ben Forster ya I agree warzone at to bad but the base game was one of the biggest waste of 60 bucks. The only good thing about the game was the campaign. I tried ground war and was the worst experience ever everybody camps on the roofs with one shoot snipers without bullet drop. then after a week I went back to battlefield
Jerome Schlinger well I’m not gonna lie and say that I didn’t feel the same way at some point. I did the least ideal action and decided to try to adapt the way I play. I don’t know if there are still campers on roofs as much anymore because I have played the maps enough that I know how to avoid them anyways. However even in ground war you don’t get the same feeling of all out war than in battlefield. The environment in battlefield 1 is unbeatable and ground war is most definitely cod just on a bigger map. Battlefield has an amazing talent of making you feel like your in a movie. However ground war doesn’t capture that same feeling however personally I find it fun anyways.
I honestly I really like it when fights become slow or even grind to a halt because it reminds me of the actual irl battles, you had a strong fast attacks that slowly ground to a halt and become slow, like having to clear out or defend trench systems. It balances out the combat
I love that when an operation stagnates at one point, the area gets progressively more war torn. Like, after 30 mins on one checkpoint, the ground is riddled with explosion holes, and all of the structures in the area have collapsed.
I love how the first level for the campaign starts with the message "you are not expected to survive" or something like that, that was honestly the best way to start the game for me Dying didn't reload your last checkpoint, if you died that person you were playing as was dead and you move on to the next guy just like how the war was, you die that's it, no do overs
I love lines included such as, "The war for oil continues to this day". This connects this war story to a current affair that is still relevant in the eyes of the people, and so players are interested in this.
Bf4 isn’t accurate. Bf4 had the MOST customization, not the best. That’s not a good thing, considering there were many attachments that all functioned the same, but just looked different. Just put the best looking attachments with each weapon and cut out all the junk. It also heavily relied upon lootboxes instead of a progression system for the customizables, so that’s a negative. BF3 or bad company 1/2 could also hold the gameplay title as well.
If by historically immersive you mean horses literally being stronger than Tanks, MP18's being common service weapons and Landships moving like Panzer II's, then yeah I would agree.
I felt like watching this again. Btw the Italian story is an actual story😭😭 it’s over the top, but it’s a good representation of how in ww1 and 2 there was very little stop time. You never stopped fighting and even when you did, you where just waiting for the enemies turn
As someone who is more on the "historical accuracy" side of games, I can say without a doubt that Battlefield 1 did an incredible job. Hell, they were even able to be diverse without pandering to anybody! The 1st Russian Women's Battalion of Death, the Harlem Hellfighters, people from French-occupied northwestern Africa, the list goes on. What sets this game's inclusivity of a variety of people and groups from other games is that it does so when it has a reason to and is still accurate to the time and setting. That's one of the main reasons why Battlefield V pissed me off so much. Instead of a British woman with a prosthetic arm wielding a cricket bat in WW2, why not include Lyudmila Pavlichenko, aka Lady Death, a female Russian sniper who had 309 confirmed kills? What about the French women who fought? They were in extremely small numbers, but they were a thing. Historically accurate inclusion is fucking awesome, and I love when games do it. But inclusivity for its own sake is terrible and cheapens said character's presence in the game's setting.
I think the main issue with Battlefield 5 is that the character stole the achievements of real heroes, the mission she takes part in was a real one that involved real men who sacrificed significantly to make it happen. It's grossly insulting to take that success away from real people, especially when (as you say) there were real female soldiers they could've used
Yeah that's true although there were still triggered racists complaining about a Harlem Hellfighter soldier was on the front cover. Can't please everyone
The rock was a military weapon created in 1914 which was used by Both Germans and Americans. It's very easy to create, just mold tiny stones to create the rock. The Rock is used in strategy to distract the enemy jk
Exactly. I don’t think enough people understand that if this game were realistic, it would literally just be one side camping the whole time with mostly scout class weapons while the other just get their asses beat. Maybe after a few hours, or days, or weeks the the roles would switch up. There’d be basically little to no vehicles (especially if you were on the Central Powers’ side). And the ones you do have would probably die of engine failure in the middle of no man’s land. And, if it were realistic, the majority of the gameplay wouldn’t be spent fighting. You’d get to repair trenches, hide in dugouts for several hours at a time from artillery barrages or spend several hours loading artillery, be on guard duty, execute dying horses, spend several hours stealing food from nearby towns because your rations haven’t arrived yet, and best of all, maintaining the local latrines!
I like to think for Avanti that since it's being retold by the guy to his daughter as a story, he made himself out to be much tougher plus the armor as to reassure his daughter that he wasn't close to dying but in reality was.
@@AB-bg7os I saw this on the trailer for the upcoming ww1 game isonzo, thought I would share. "Generalissimo Luigi something is using this game as crowdfunding for his 111th battle of isonzo river".
@Andrei Salvaleon YOur talking about a country that regained its independence from the ottoman empire when it was still a thing. It still was credible.
I remember my buddy had just turned 21 (I had in February) and we had gotten a pack of Guinness to split on launch day in celebration of his birthday and BF1. Damn that makes me feel old.
I can understand why there are usually no campaigns about Germans or Japanese in WWII games, however in a game set in WWI, I was actually hoping that we might get something from the Central Powers POV as well. I really feel that was a missed opportunity.
Featuring the Harlem Hellfighters was literally diversity done RIGHT and in a non-woke, non-ridiculous way. Had arguably one of the most American mottos too: “God damn let’s go!”
they certainly were not the typical WW1 soldier but they were the best soldiers of that era. If anyone deserved to be shown again in all their glory they certainly take that spot
The Harlem hellfighters were ultra-chads who, once arriving home, were loved by the American public, no matter the race. They were cheered for and celebrated. Their government didn’t give two shits about them, but for once in their lives, the felt equality. Unlike vanguard’s stereotype ridden black characters. A lot of the tokenism is so awful that I’ve seen everybody from conservatives to anarchists shit on the fake diversity.
History lesson in screaming on the battle field. Soldiers did actually scream during battle to hype themselves up and also put fear into the bones of the enemy. It also helped getting the last bit of strength out they're bodies. That's it class have fun and stay hydrated
I can only imagine how tired and miserable so many soldiers felt. When I hear stories of marching through the freezing cold, starving to death, and to trying to make it somewhere where you'll only be surrounded by horror and death it just makes me all the more thankful for every single day that I'm blessed with food, shelter, and my family not under any constant threat or anything. Even as crummy as life can seem, most of us here are still so lucky. I wish we'd all remember that and help lessen the world's misery.
Avanti Savoia got me really emotional at the end, my great grandfather fought in WW1, his entire division annihilated he was the only survivor so it really hit me what these guys went trough also would have been cool if the added multiple voicelines for the italians like dialects because WW1 is what helped to form the "italian language" before people spoke dialect and some are completely different from italian something like PIGLIA, HARTUCCE instead of PRENDI, MUNIZIONI or similar things like in sicilian or similar
"20 Million men participated in fighting the 'War to End All Wars'. It ended nothing." That quote honestly stings the most to me, mostly because of how harshly and coldly true it is (as it pertains to wars on the same scale and danger as WW1). I mean, WW2 happened right after and the extended Cold War with proxy wars in between happening after WW2... The first World War was a war of pointlessness and Sunk-Cost Fallacy, and kind of showed how everyone involved were in some way failing to learn from the past. EDIT: Some guy pointed out that I got the quote wrong and I double checked; they were right. So I changed it.
I think we can all agree that Battlefield has the most inspiring prologues (the mode you have to play the first time you open up your game) and the best music along with the most moving lines and quotes in FPS history.
My only complaint with the campaign, is I wish that it had missions from the perspective of each faction. I would have loved to see things from the German or Ottoman side. But regardless, this game was probably the game I grinded most for the longest time. It was my obsession, and I have to thank this game for getting me into military history.
My only complaint is that they're too short. Yeah a mission from the Germans' perspective could've been really interesting, but Dice at least did them justice with the background dialogues among the NPCs
Galipoli would've been a much more interesting campaign if told from the turkish side. The battle of the Somme from the perspective of german infantry could have also been a great opportunity.
I always imagined the way War Stories should have gone was it took you through every point in WWI, starting from the assassination of Franz Ferdinand as Gavrilo Princip, you follow it through the perspectives of every major player in it in chronological order, and I even wanted a chapter where you played as a German delivering a message through no man's land, and at the end, he is awarded the Iron Cross, revealing we were playing as Adolf Hitler. Let us see every side of the war, and how it influenced the tragedies that occurred two decades later.
@@TheGame052 Even in 2016 the outcry about Hitler being a playable character would be ridiculous. Which is stupid, he's long dead and defeated, let's have some interesting stories.
Biggest problem with most campaigns. You don't get anything from the other side. Theres a great movie called Stalingrad and its from the German perspective and its damn near the ONLY movie about that war that reminds you that they were humans with fears and hopes as well as lot of propoganda. As the battle turns against the Germans the enlisted stop listening to the officers who they realize will sacrifice them all. There was evil on both sides the Nazis were just more enthusiastic about turning that evil into a whole industrial process.
Because it’s better. It’s been the last really good one they released I feel, I got involved with battlefield 3 and played everyone since (except hardline) and this one is outstanding
Imo it matters when its taking place in specific historical milestone like ww1. COD used to be at least authentic a little bit, take a look at older COD games like world at war.
This game is like playing a WW1 movie, that's how cinematic it can be at times and it holds up so well graphically even 7 years later and Imma be honest sometimes when the music starts amping up in operations I get goosebumps and feel motivated to win more lol
I think they missed an opportunity in the campaign to use the old "perma-death" mechanic where you become a different soldier when you die. They did it the first mission, but after that it feels a lot like a power fantasy campaign that's trying to remind you that a lot of people died in this war while you gun down thousands. Obviously you need a balance here, but I think the "perma-death" would have done so much better.
They wanted to focus on iduvidual soldiers and make the player actually care about dying. If they had multiple soldiers the story wouldn't be as impactful as you could end up only having a few seconds with each guy and not truly care about them or what their fighting for. Also having multiple soldiers would make the game realy boring as their would be no diffuculty. (Assuming that what you meant is swapping between soldiers while making progress with each ones life)
@@vmann8168 You can make them care about each soldier much like they did in the intro, where once you die it tells you their names and birth and death dates, or even save it until the end, where the end of each story shows you a memorial of every soldier you died as. Difficulty would absolutely still be there, as you only have so many soldiers. They could also make it so you die easily, so instead the difficutly comes in how you approach the battle, stuff like that. Also I think many might disagree with this last point, but I think you could still have "individual" characters by having them be unplayable. You follow their story as the soldiers around them.
Addressing your criticism that Avanti Savoia makes you feel too powerful, I thought it was implied that this is showing another side of lying in war stories. Friends in High Places showed the side of people who lie to protect themselves from seeming like a bad person, while in Avanti Savoia, it felt like the person telling the story was lying to his daughter about being in "Impenetrable armor", making himself sound powerful and invulnerable not to make himself look good, but to try and make the story less scarring to his daughter. He didn't want her to know how vulnerable he really was during that time, that at any moment, it could have been him that died, while his brother lived. That's at least what I took from it.
to be fair there are ww1 combat armor i don tknow the how think the armor but im sure it can eat small firearm like rifle and pistol but mybe mg tooo i guess but still most plane use 0.30 cal ish check channel the great war ruclips.net/video/Aeh7pE8hYco/видео.html
Yeah. His daughter was worries when he said something along the lines of storming the Austrian lines and only after that he responded with good armour and all that.
felix Gaming vlog it’s not the existence of the armor that seems exaggerated, it’s the fact that you singlehandedly fight off 50 soldiers and a full Air Force worth of planes with no help at all. That’s the “made up” part
When you said each life can feel cinematic, it gave me flashbacks to when I was playing with my friends and I didn't die (or got revived, no actual deaths) for two games in a row. It felt so badass, and my squad was so upset when I got shot down in the third game and they couldn't revive me. What a game, man
Playing Cold War really started pissing me off with all the bs in it. So I went to Battlefield 1 to relax and I immediately started having way more fun than Cold War.
I think the reason for this is that it’s hard to tell a story in another language without us knowing it. I know we got one from the Italians, but they still spoke English. I don’t know if they’d be able to retcon it to other languages
"would you have prefered a game where you sat in the trenches all day and you are constantly pummled with mustard gas" Hell yeah that sounds like a pretty awesome horror-FPS game
@@lapikolko2 Is not that boring. Is a bit hard because is pretty realistic (trenches, carges in the no man land, die in literaly in one shot) and it can be hard at the first matches, but once you learn how to play well and how to use the various types of weapons you can get a lot of fun. I think that if you like ww1 and you are searching for a game that try to be as much realistic as possible, you should at least try it ;) try to search for some gameplays on Youtbe
When the “for the Tzar” DLC came out and I played it. I have never seen people fight so hard to the death in a video game without a whole lot of rage. It was amazing. I felt like I was part of the Russian revolution
I remember once both sides immerged from their trenches and charged at eachother. When they met in the middle. It was Complete close quarters melee warefare. It almost made me feel like I was in campaign
@@spiritorange8325 personally i like those matches as a sniper at heart, what makes them more fun is if snipers from both sides have to care about other snipers aswell as the other dudes, trust me it was stressful fun in a good way to fight other snipers and also have about a dozen guys having to fall back since we were losing ground to a gppd sniper
The campaign was a little one sided as we didn’t see anything from the Bulgarians, Ottomans, Austro-Hungarians or Germans. But otherwise it was a good game.
12:49. I was a cadet in an Australian unit and when I received my slouch hat I did not let a single person touch it. My first ceremonial parade I got to pin up up just like that with the rising sun
What I loved about this game is that every moment feels like you’re playing the trailer. It’s crazy, chaotic, explosive...it captures that feeling of storming the trenches with your brothers in arms every time you spawn in.
The only other game to every make me feel like that (to a slightly lesser extent at that despite how much I loved it) was titanfall 2. The level of intensity felt when trying to defend a fortress in operations or the feeling of badassery of riding a horse through the back lines cutting down the enemy cannot be matched. The war stories were perfect. The maps were beautiful unique and actually provide good gameplay and depth for tactics. The weapon design is phenomenal. They were so satisfying to use.
Idk if its just me, but every time I see the part where Luca is mourning his brother, and that quote I always get tears in my eyes. This game is so damn good at portraying what these people went through and how awful war is.
Glo Ray59, I’m assuming you mean in-game and in real life there are no pump-action rifles. However, the “Varmint-rifle” in Red Dead Redemption 2, I think is modeled after a real pump-action rifle that is meant to shoot 22. caliber rounds. And the game takes place before WWI, and WWI is the setting of Battlefield 1.
BATTLEFIELD 1 is and always will be my absolute favorite FPS. It was just stunning, I literally have found myself randomly lookin off into the distance in the middle of a battle just to take in the actual gravity of these battles that really happened and the way they showed the true grit and destruction while still capturing the beauty of the landscapes before after and during the battles. 10/10
Battlefield 1 and 5 are my favorites, this is mostly due to the opening scenes on the story. The stories are the best parts, and the weapons are Soo cool to use due the realism in it. The sounds in the background and the visuals are insane and I love them, the maps are insane too, there then best games in my opinion. Also, WW1 is one of my favorite events because there was not one bad guy side like WW2, because if anything, both side were the bad guys, it was literally Imperialism vs Imperialism This just shows how far they fell off in 2042
I did like the game mode where everyone was forced to use Bolt Actions with no special sights. It made a slower but still enjoyable game mode. Melee weapons became more useful, MG positions became terrifying obstacles, and bayonets were very useful. I do wish artillery strikes could have been a bit of a bigger role, but all in all it was great.
@@Luke-ho9xi You also know that Germans did other things in WWII than the holocaust right? Like there were people in the Wehrmacht who A. didn't know that was happening, and B. still died in horrendous circumstances because some Austrian asshole decided he would take over their country and invade France, and Russia because he was sour over the Treaty of Versailles.
Because of Battlefield 1 I actually did a report on ww1 tanks for English class, I got an A because I was so interested in the history I did actual digging

I just replayed all the war stories and wow yea the Pidgeon scene hits so hard, you fly back over the battlefield you just fought thru and you see exactly what you did to the buildings and landscape. you see the tanks you rolled in alongside burning where you last saw them, and the thing that really hit me is how the Pidgeon just exists in it all. for the first time it made me think of the impact the world wars must have had on the wild life in Europe and the Pacific.
Most of team quite because of really poor management and leadership. People almost forced to do that they dislikes or cant see a reason why it good. Oh, and ofc EA
Laziness, EA, developers foolishly believing that everyone wants it to be woke. BF5 was doomed since the reveal trailer. Now I don’t mind women in a World War 2 game... but it has to make sense. Otherwise people are going to start treating the setting with a toxic 2019 mentality that completely destroys the immersion of the whole setting of WWII. People need to understand that once you put in ideals, themes, values, and progressive content from the 21st century into a historical set game, you completely destroy the purpose of it being a historical experience.
@@dastemplar9681 Exactly, if DICE want womens - just add partisans/resistance and Soviet Union, because first dont care and second actually have frontline woman soldiers (and pilots)
Fun fact: the Annihilator/Annihilator Trench was actually made and loaded onto some ships heading to Europe in 1918, however they never left port because the war ended shortly after.
Cool another fun fact is the American support helmet was going to be issued to the soldiers but I looked to much like a German helmet cool fact about the annihilator

in the war stories, i didn't need a bunch of time to grow with the characters. i was able to tell the devastation, the hurt, the anguish, just by the atmosphere and character portrayal. the war stories show the brutality and unforgiving nature of war, such as the desperate hope of the tank captain in Through Mud and Blood as he blows the lines of Bess, or the anger of Clyde Blackburn as he struggles with indecision in No Mans Land. i found myself almost tearing up in The Runner when Bishop meets his end. hes happy to pass the torch, accepting of his successor and his fate. he knows its the end, yet he still smiles in the face of certain death because he knows he did what he could. battlefield one had, what is in my opinion, the best take of singleplayer campaign in any battlefield game. not because of gameplay or story, but because of the themes, the emotions, the characters, the quotes, and so much more. not to mention one of the greatest opening scenes in gaming history.
i know this is a wall of text, but i mean it when i say that battlefield one is that game that you can go back and say, "yeah, i remember that. i played that."

Ben Forster still not playing modern warfare camp fest of a game it’s horrible. Just kept playing the older battlefields and rainbow.

Battlefield 3: Best Maps
Battlefield 4: Best Gameplay/customization
Battlefield 1: Best Atmosphere.
straight truth right here
I completely fucking agree
Fuck yeah
BF4 was the last Battlefield game that actually felt like a Battlefield game.
Bf1 wasn't historically accurate but it was historically immersive, bfv does not do either

It's grossly insulting to take that success away from real people, especially when (as you say) there were real female soldiers they could've used
I would have loved it if you played as the russians in the attack of the dead men

I really like history and games and I understand that you don't want it to be too realistic or historical to make the game still fun

That quote honestly stings the most to me, mostly because of how harshly and coldly true it is (as it pertains to wars on the same scale and danger as WW1). I mean, WW2 happened right after and the extended Cold War with proxy wars in between happening after WW2... The first World War was a war of pointlessness and Sunk-Cost Fallacy, and kind of showed how everyone involved were in some way failing to learn from the past.

Agreed bro😤👍
They wanted to focus on iduvidual soldiers and make the player actually care about dying. If they had multiple soldiers the story wouldn't be as impactful as you could end up only having a few seconds with each guy and not truly care about them or what their fighting for. Also having multiple soldiers would make the game realy boring as their would be no diffuculty. (Assuming that what you meant is swapping between soldiers while making progress with each ones life)
@@jcoward8845 he's talking a out the war stories, not the multiplayer.
So I went to Battlefield 1 to relax and I immediately started having way more fun than Cold War.

the thing i like most about bf1 is the balancing of the classes. all of them have their place and are strong in their own regard
The campaign was a little one sided as we didn’t see anything from the Bulgarians, Ottomans, Austro-Hungarians or Germans. But otherwise it was a good game.

What I loved about this game is that every moment feels like you’re playing the trailer. It’s crazy, chaotic, explosive...it captures that feeling of storming the trenches with your brothers in arms every time you spawn in.
I could not agree more and if you really like that feeling titanfall 2 recreates that feeling just as good
The only other game to every make me feel like that (to a slightly lesser extent at that despite how much I loved it) was titanfall 2.

Nikola Doroslovacki from when I looked at it, it looked like he was pumping the rifle, despite rifles not being pump-action

Also, WW1 is one of my favorite events because there was not one bad guy side like WW2, because if anything, both side were the bad guys, it was literally Imperialism vs Imperialism
This just shows how far they fell off in 2042
I love bolt action rifles *pulls out a lever action*

I did like the game mode where everyone was forced to use Bolt Actions with no special sights. It made a slower but still enjoyable game mode. Melee weapons became more useful, MG positions became terrifying obstacles, and bayonets were very useful.

It makes you wonder what the hell went wrong during BF5's production?
They forgot a dlc
