I got goosebumps at the old characters getting heated at each other scene. It was so believeable for all those characters to react the way they did they FEEL like the characters even if they don't sound like them

This is the only cod I’ve played thoroughly and I’ve enjoyed all of it. I can’t believe how much content was put into this game, I was under the impression that cod games don’t have much effort into their games because of yearly releases/ easy money. I loved the campaign, I know people hate multiplayer, but I do like the competitiveness/ sweatiness. I really enjoyed playing zombies and I was happy to see zombies maps being added overtime.
Overall I like this game and I don’t understand why people wouldn’t like it. I mean I can see why people wouldn’t like multiplayer but other than that I think it’s a pretty solid game.

@@e.jordan9784 couldn't agree any more with that. I'd do slightly well and get put in a sweaty lobby, get dominated in that lobby and then get put in a lobby with people who have just started. It's really annoying how up and down how difficult public lobbies are
@@IQ-tie the MP rocks if you play privately or with bots, surprisingly. They're my main methods of playing it and I've sank many hours into it
@@IQ-tie I tried going back to pubs but I can only get match made in sweaty lobbies. No matter how purposely bad I play, it's all I get. I play them to get a base weapon and use it in private matches

You know what’s cool? Detective work. I really hope they implement it in future games. I love the idea that certain missions are hidden or unlocked by combinations of evidence examined/notes taken. Maybe a notebook or poster board mechanic that lets you compile and connect your evidence on your own so they game knows when to unlock what missions? And if they trickle this all the way down the game could have like 50 alternate endings.
I simply hope they deticate themselves in making an interesting campeign and awesome new characters like Adler in future C.O.D games
I found the detective parts to be awful in this game. Keep that stuff out of future Cod games and reserve it for key moments in cutscenes and actions where you piece together the story. Collectibles shouldn't restrict normal game progress, sorry

Literally the only problem with guns in Cold War is that there is no diversity in gun attachments other than dual wield or thermal
to be fair, having different guns would basically be having seperate guns be slightly different from eachother. I support their decision imo.

This still stacks up as one of my favorite cods in the series. The campaign had an amazing story with cool new mechanics and the return of branching storylines,zombies was one of the best iterations I've seen,and although a bit devisive with a fucked sbmm system,the multi-player was fun(at times) too.
Time for you to go back and play some of the older games I think
@@user-rc6nb1iq8b . The older ones are above this one by a large margin. This one was underwhelming and it all felt rushed. I was in the minority that didn't care to see Hudson, Woods, or Mason here. I would have preferred to have played as a Russian soldier working for the USSR and to have played as Bell the other parts of the game. The new characters seemed interesting and yet we barely had any time to get to know them. I thought that Simms would get more screen time, especially since he was a Vietnam Special Ops soldier, but nope. He seemed interesting as did Parks.
@@Deadsea_1993 Plus the cracking codes and detective work stuff I feel was pretty underused, only two sidequests in the entirety of the campaign. Good campaign but not as impactful as some of the other BO games.

One thing I see under appreciated is the quality and detail of small objects, everything I would walk up to in the campaign was so crisp and clear, not once did I see a blurry object, I really wish this game got the flowers it deserves for doing something totally different and unique. Hopefully the sequel does things better.

I actually love this game, first game after mw3 that i can spent hours and hours on it without getting bored. The campaign is great imo…the multiplayer has the nostalgic feeling of bo 1 and 2 mixed…I think that this game will have a great value after 4-5 years od its release. Its ageing like a fine wine so far
Black ops biggest issue imo was they were never fully committed to their cool ideas. Shit like side missions and choices effecting the plot they are always too afraid to go full swing at it

This was an AMAZING game. The campaign and the multiplayer were great and I could play it for days on end even now after the failure that vanguard is. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of original voice actors that would have taken the story to the next level.
Man, imagine if CoD wasn’t under Activision and free to do what they wanted, take their time for development and forget all the micro transaction bullshit.
Respawn would probably be the one to make COD games, for obvious reasons. That's really good

Micro transactions are a babies first go to for a dying franchise. Cold War is actually a game built off the bones of another devs cancelled title. We know this was originally a sledgehammer game originally and Treyarch was told to take over. We basically got a half baked game built off someone else’s framework. Like, the guns look bad, sound bad, feel mediocre, the campaign is okay, the zombies is fun.
But the core of the game which is multiplayer is this rushed mess of a game and you can tell how much that mess affected every other aspect of the game. Like I already mentioned this but the guns sound and look bad in every single mode, you can’t get away from the plastic nerf look and sound of the MP5.
It’s really sad activision doesn’t have a brain to put a hold on yearly releases so that these devs have time to actually build a game properly.

I played this game a few months ago and not one oopsie happened with any glitching or crashing. Very fun game, love the setting, love love love the code cracking, wish i could pick and customize weapons to take on missions tho, that would complete the feel for me

First time fighting zombies in this campaign scared the hell out of me. Different from BO3 since it's not forced upon you
Imo, Juggernog and Stamin-up being Crutch Perks in zombies literally does not matter when you can have EVERY Perk. The main problem, at least to me, is that a crutch perk meant you could have less variety, because you were ALWAYS gonna take that perk, so in reality with Juggernog, it felt like you had 250 health and only 3 perk slots. But, if there is no perk limit, It doesn't really matter, and I absolutely love it.
----Spoilers ahead---- when my dad walked into my room when playing the campaign he said alder was not good news, then 5 minutes later I got shot by alder. I should've listened to my dad.

To be honest Cold War for sure ain’t the best cod and most likely never will be but it’s still my favorite out of the other three. Warzone, Vanguard and 2019 Modern Warfare, hopefully I’m not the only one with this opinion

@@Asmeenradee It’s not it’s Activision’s because they fired Sledgehammer from making this year’s Call of Duty which kinda makes it understandable since Sledgehammer did a mediocre job with WW2 but that doesn’t excuse Activision on why did they force Treyarch to make the game in a entire year since October or November depending on when did they start development last year. They were so desperate for money that they knew CoD fans would buy the game.

Nearly 2 years later I still come back to this video due to how problematic sbmm really is and it still is today. Seriously just bring back ranking based matchmaking it ain't perfect, but it's way better than having Niagara falls dripping everywhere.
i really liked cold war and still do. i loved the campaign and zombies but im not a fan of multiplayer but i am really excited to see what treyarch will be able to accomplish with the time they have now. really hyped they confirmed their next game will have a 2 year life span

They have yet to fix the manual zoom scope on my M60 since day one. It glitches when you zoom in or out. They have random lobby errors all the damn time and visual glitches at times too. Even the menu is poorly optimized on the One X it runs at 13fps at times or lower.

I got this game just so I can play Nuketown 24/7 and Zombies. I have 0 regrets. Zombies now are also way better than when it was first out.
Got it during MW2 reboot's final legs before the launch of the mess it was MW3 reboot (that you already talked about) and I LOVED it;
They fixed the cutscenes and other glitches and bugs so I didn't saw them in my playthrough. The choices actually change the plot, even if a bit superficially, and aren't a dumb single question that leads nowhere like in MW3 reboot;
Multiplayer is still a bit iffy, but Zombies besides a bit of a snag with Outbreak is pretty good. Heck even the Warzone story line was pretty nice... sadly it led to a deranged WW2 Vet telling stuff like Godzilla and the mess it's the CoD Mobile plot when we got to Vanguard, but the resolution to Adler's vendetta against Perseus (with a nice nod to Rebirth Island from BO1) was good;
Another good thing is that the plot for it actually brought it a lot more to Multiplayer maps, unlike every other game set from the MW reboot onwards that makes the plot revolve entirely around the Warzone map;

i think the best part about this game is the pre-release. RUclipsrs like Noah-J actually got care packages with clues and pieces of evidence kitted out in a cold war/old military style and they had to do an ARG with the physical items and did it on a stream along with their audience to help them out with solving the clues and puzzles with the care packages and an ACTUAL FILM REEL to get more information about the game. honestly wish they did this stuff more and hopefully if we get that gulf war game next year. theyll do somthing like that again

@@smartgamingpotatopotatoz4217 I haven't got it so I can't judge, but if a a game releases with bugs- hey, that's okay, especially when it's a game with huge open world or if it was developed during corona...as long as the game itself is playable.But when the bugs are very severe and make the whole game or certain game mods unplayable, it's not okay to release it for 60$ in such state.
