I just moved into a new home with a glass stovetop. I don’t want to ruin my new stove and was considering buying Weiman’s Stovetop cleaner. I just watched your video so I’m going to place an order now. Thank you!!!
Dude and dudette thanks for this video. I just bought this product today and followed your exact steps. I have few minor spots left but it’ll come off in time. Thanks again!
Thanks for the Video! My wife bought the kit after we tried all the home remedy stuff. I was a little worried about using it on our brand new stove and your video was great considering the instructions on the bottle aren’t the best.
The best thing to do, is always clean your smooth top stove everytime you finished cooking, thats what I do so it doesn't build up with heavy food stuff or burnt mark's.
Thx for the video guys!!! Was worried i had ruined my stove! Do I clean the pad? Or do I just leave it? Also is it normal for a glass top to have some scratches? I got mine like 3 weeks ago and it had some scratches that I didn’t notice until after I used the cleaner.
We didn't get any scratches from cleaning, and yes the pad helps. We got a few scratches from are son sliding the pan cooking his eggs like a stir fry.
I have only used Calphalon for 20 years, We haven't invested in the best of the best but we like the nonstick sets, mine are getting old after 8 years, so I'm looking at some more soon!
@@ChrisDoesWhat Do you have any advice on marks that can't be removed? We rent and when we moved in, the cooktop had white marks on the burner that look almost like they're under the glass? Any ideas?
@@gajuclara3887 You can use any razor, just use a new one, don't want rust or other things to scratch the surface. This razor cam with the kit linked in the video.
very good video, greetings from buenos aires argentina, i bought an ariston glass-ceramic kitchen, i am going to buy the product the complete kit, here is 30 dollars
Came out perfect
Thank you
I’ll be buying this kit for my stove
Yes, this kit saved us so much time. We have since sold this house, and the stove top still looked great.

Congrats on your new home! With your new stove, be careful sliding things on it, left a little scratch on ours the other day.
@@ChrisDoesWhat Thank you for the tip! I appreciate it! 💕
Thanks for sharing...after watching I also discovered there is a glass stovetop surface protector might be worth a try 🙏
Great idea!
What's the name of it?

Glad we could help
Great video guys ! Gosh darn I wish I didn’t have to watch it! I want my old gas stove back!😢Too much work!
Oh no! Well hope you get that glass clean.
Thanks guys. I paid $4 -$5 for the cleaner and $3 for the scrubbing pads 3 to a pack without the pad holder. I got mine from the Shoprite last week
That's great to here, the kit also comes with a razor and the is critical to get the cooked on food off.
Great teamwork!💪🏽
Thank You
Came for the review, but staying for the banter. Y’all are honestly cute.
Lol, after 24 years marriage it's probably what keeps us together lol ~ Danielle

Glad it helped, and the stove we where showing was brand new. The last stove looked like sandpaper was used to clean it.

@indram5384 very true. We clean after every our stove top daily as well, but this helps from time to time.
@@ChrisDoesWhat yes, it does. Thanks
Y’all got a good dynamic on camera
Thank you! About to celebrate 24 year anniversary!
Thanks good video
Thank you, just got my first one. Great advice. Bloopers 😜
Welcome, thanks for the feedback we have been adding bloopers for a year if we have them during filming.
Can this remove white haze or cloudy on the centre of cooktop ?
It can't fix a damaged top.
Very helpful! Lovely video!
Glad it was helpful!

So you don't rinse it after? You just use the cloth and then it's ready to cook on? I just bought one and I wanna make sure.
No rinse, we just wipe it off with a dry towel. Still use this with no issues, check out our recipe videos and you can see the stove top every week.
How long did it take to give it a good clean using this method?
I use this all the time, takes me a couple minutes. The stove top is in all our recipe videos and it is always clean.
Hi I’m having trouble finding pans for the glass stove top,,,I’m not sure which ones to buy,, can you help me with this?

@@ChrisDoesWhat Thank you!
Great video thanks!
You're welcome!
Good stuff works
Yes it does
super cool...you guys are funny.
The sound of the razor😬 I'm scared to use the razor.... though every advised says so. Nice Couple Video🥰
Believe me, when hubby started scraping, I was biting my nails but all is good, works great though, we do it once a week!
@@ChrisDoesWhat Thank you.... I'll check out your other videos. Enjoy the Combo Couple🥰
That product you're promoting reminds me of soft scrub.
Edit: I don't see the link for the product.
Thank you for your feedback, just a product we use that works, and the link is below. Weiman Cooktop Cleaner Kit on Amazon: amzn.to/345Tfoh
I used this inside my oven, not just on glass, but everywhere. Was this a mistake?
Would not use this in the oven, it is for the glass top. We would never use the scrub pad or razor in the oven, could damage the finish.
Thank you so much for this. I was really struggling with getting my cooktop clean and was scared to use a razor on it!
Glad this helped! The razor should do not harm and much safer than a scrubby pad.
@@ChrisDoesWhat Do you have any advice on marks that can't be removed? We rent and when we moved in, the cooktop had white marks on the burner that look almost like they're under the glass? Any ideas?
Have never seen that, I guess the last renters did some special cooking.
Can i use any razor or there is an appropriate one made for it? Thank you

Thank You, good morning from Florida! Hope this product works well for you, we have been using it for 3 years now.
Fast forward 1:29 minutes to see cleaning.
Yep, that stove is a mess.
Thank you anyway
No problem
How long do you wait before you start scraping?
Right away, you don't want it to dry.
Thc
?
Glass top stoves are too much trouble. It takes more time to clean than it does cooking
There not too bad, we just replaced what was already in the house
I agree with you. I don't like my glass top stove.
@@Raw_Roots Yes, plus you can't use cast iron.
Not scraping my glass lmao
I have used razors to scrap things of glass all the time.
The razor is fine to use as long as you are scraping from side to side motion start with a small patch then gradually getting bigger 😉
She is cute! I'd be her servant!
Marriage is about the service to each other, been married over 25 years.
use car gas
That would sure leave a great smell in the house.
Thanks! Great video
