Thank you for your step by step video - I watched it in full than went back and was able to pause after each step - I bought the kit then read about the over spray - in life I have learned the easier route is not always the best route - I do miss my old fashion gas stove, but your video did make my cleaning a lot easier - I won't wait so long before cleanings. Thx U
Me too. Couldn't read them but I knew there'd be a youtube video. Thank you to the lady demonstrating and kudos to her husband (?) for opening the product!
You are welcome, and yes my husband the main face of this channel. Usually I am the one in the background but every now and then I make an appearance 😉
Thank you, I didn't realize there was a kit. This is a good alternative to sprays such as oven cleaners, which not only have to wait for it to work, but it in lingers in the air so you have to leave the room due to it being so hard to breathe. Certain oven cleaners can also pit and eat through some metals as I have learned so if do use, watch your over spray and need to wear gloves!
Thank you very much for this clear and detailed video! I was scared of the blade, but you showed me how to use it properly (angle, tension). I used the kit, and it worked! However, the cooktop has some grayish spots. I know this is an old video, but I keep my fingers crossed... Do you know how to get those back to black? Thank you!
As for removing streaks I have used some stainless steel wipes, I'll look up the brand and let you know. I also have used Window cleaner which has worked well too.
I have only used Cerama Bryte and Wieman's but I have only used the Wieman's once so far. Honestly I can't say I saw a difference but I do plan on trying more. Our new stove top just hasn't been dirty enough to put to the test...but Thanksgiving is coming up so I have a feeling I'll get that chance soon 😜 I usually just use soap and water for between deeper cleanings. Oh and Wieman's Stainless Steele cleaner has been a winner.
I tried this method and no matter how many times I wiped it at the end with a wet cloth it keeps leaving this white residue marks behind once it dries 😢
Easy off spray it and leave it 10- 15 minutes while you clean something else in the kitchen and all.the dirt comes out very easily just wipe it down. Im in professional cleaning for over 30 years, and after trying many ways and products Easy off is what work best for me.
Who wants to do this every time why don't people complain anymore it's a whole industry why don't they fix the issue I had the old version of these cookers the tops looks exactly the same but it cleans up with a sponge and literally 0 effort like why do people even accept this madness I'd be insanely fuming bloody mad if I had to do this even once why would I pay £500 - £900 for a new oven that will look like crap from water alone that then if I want to look good again I have to buy supplies and take the day off to sort out I mean seriously do you have to pass a bar saying you have to be this stupid before your allowed to buy one someone explain this insanity please

The bottle I have says to wipe it off with a dry paper towel. Wonder if that makes a difference

But it scratches it only thing
If you use to much pressure it will. Use the razor to skim the grime and use a non abrasive pad scrub. It will reduce the chances of scratching.
