    I love watching a Jew, Christian, and Muslim finish each other's sentences, truly honoring each others traditions. A too-rare blessing.
    Deeply important line: "Unless there is purpose in the straying..."

      Wyntir I agree 100% with your comment, "This video should have a whole lot more attention than it does right now". Are you involved in Interfaith dialogue?

    Laughing, singing, inclusion - this is what the soul is about. why is it so rare to encounter these things in Islam, Judaism, and Christianity? This kind of dialogue is so important.

    Wonderful and inspiring. Obviously if all the peoples of the world could connect the dots, as have these three men, the picture of the world would be vastly different than it is at this moment in time. Blessings be the peace makers.

    A perfect case for Humanism. Take away an "imaginary friend" - then all men can be brothers!

      True spirituality should lead to humanism. When we begin to replace, or equate "God" or our "imaginary friend" with our neighbour, our most marginalised brothers and sisters, then their is good purpose on these religious traditions.

      Everything’s imaginary 😉 if a system gives someone a language, a practice, and a community to guide them to peace, kindness, and universal brotherhood - as these men unquestionably have demonstrated religion can serve to do - then who does it harm? I don’t think believers are wedded to the types of truth claims that atheists are so appalled by

      (Which is totally legitimate for some, but I think it’s worth opening your heart and hearing the Islam, the Judaism, the Christianity in Buddhism as much as vice versa)

    The "coexist" mantra is deceiving. Is the Christian here to please man or God? Is the Christian hear to be conformed to the world or the image of Christ? The core beliefs of these faiths diametrically oppose one another.
    What isn't mentioned is the renouncing of their faith they necessarily have to make. The Christian believes in the 1 true God who called His people to forsake all other, lesser gods in order that His name would be made known through His redemption of them. And all those who do not recognize Him would be separated from Him forever. This world isn't about holding hands. It is about being held in God's. Which God? The visible image of the invisible God. The first born over all creation. The preeminent one. The alpha and omega, Jesus Christ. The king of kings and Lord of lords. There is no reconciliation but that which is brought together through the perfect birth, life, death and resurrection of the King who bears the name at which all tongues will confess and every knee bow as it is heard; in heaven, on earth and under the earth Amen!

    The voices of secular people is missing and so this is incomplete. Millions of people in the USA have no voice in this conversation.

    • @OH-pc5jx
      @OH-pc5jx 5 лет назад +1

      Gretchen Robinson billions of Hindus are missing too! This is one conversation 😉 if you want secular voices in interfaith dialogue... go and talk!

    • @OH-pc5jx
      @OH-pc5jx 5 лет назад +1

      Obviously it goes without saying that there’s also a specific reason to have a dialogue between these faiths, but I think the more important point is that it’s ridiculous to imagine that one conversation should be comprehensive. If anything, the very point of such a conversation is that dialogue is always possible and never comprehensive

    I am so turned off by this! How can Don Mackenzie call himself a 'Pastor' if he doesn't even read one of the most important verses in the Bible correctly! Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life No one comes to the father except through HIM!

    • @jgordon9625
      @jgordon9625 7 лет назад +1

      MIGHTY SCRUB This is a great question. The pastor does provide a Bible quote. I am learning more about this from Bishop Shelby Spong, even on RUclips.

    • @matthewfoster9816
      @matthewfoster9816 7 лет назад +1

      Well, it's worth pointing out that he did provide his own interpretation of the verse. "Pastor" is a label, I think he's more like a Christian theologian.
